jonathon brooks is a waste of a pick. he is not practicing, will miss camp, and recovers from an ACL. trading up for a guy doesnt mean jack shit in the short term of things. they wanted a main back for the future and took the best one of the draft eventhough he was injured. And why did they do that? because this year is still a rebuild for them. they need way more pieces to become relevant and need even one if not two more drafts. Thats why taking brooks was relevant for them to even move up and get him, because they dont need him. They will run hubbard and sanders into the ground, and likely give brooks only touches to ease him back once he is healthy.

I can’t even name another Steelers pass catcher other than Pickens and friermuth so there will be even less red zone opportunities for the team that rarely scores more than 21pts
