@hellsassasin1 i so totally agree with u , i seen em live quite a few times, omg, loved every single song, every single special effect, every single way that i felt with the music moving thru my entire body, it was the best EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!!!
I've seen Roger Waters live 4 times, David gilmour 3 times, I have seen Richard Wright's very last performance (at the Remember that night premier). I guess I should consider myself lucky, however I would give all that away, just to have the chance to see them play together. To bad Rick's gone and so is Syd. Anyway, I'm going to see Roger Waters at the O2 next year, I got tickets for his 3 concert there!
"but he is an exotic car collector. I saw him recently on a live car auction show on Discovery HD Theater." i loled at that information (not that isnt true anyway.. just weird) btw one of the coolest songs XD
@MrDannyboyhall The highest note he hits on the album is a high B bent to C on the 19th fret of the high E string (Bent to the pitch of the 21st.) You are wrong.
the original solo was played on a guitar that he does not use on stage i cant recall what it is though but it has 22 frets where is his strat has 21 so on the album version he hits some higher notes which makes it sound better
@TheMissmarymac Well, you can imagine that if you just don't get along with someone, it's going to be hard to play emotional solos with the group like Gilmour does. Playing guitar like that isn't just skill, it's also emotion and feeling, and if he's getting bad vibes because he doesn't get along with other group members, it might just not end up being up to the Gilmour standard. I'm sure that if he could handle a reunion, he would do so.
@wifflwaffl well my friend im going by what Dave said himself about this very solo and why he played it on his lewis guitar just as he did the money solo but its not the point anyway the point is on his red strat he does not hit anywhere near the note he hits on the album same as with the money solo
@TheMissmarymac wow, so do i , that would b great, but not without Roger Water just alone, that would ruin my last memory of some really super good times i had @ their shows!
one of the top 5 best floyd tunes !!
just amazing!!! the best band ever
i went to this concert when i was 25, i'm 42 now. this song is so true, it fucking hurts!
i cant control myself from writing a paragraph about how much this band means to me
i wasn't at this particular concert but this footage is exactly what i saw in madison, it's just that good!!!

As Jorge Luis Borges would say "time is what were made of"
