We love all the voices on the farm, even the geese(that took getting used to). Does Nugget say anything?
So glad youre all feeling better. Hope Grandma Cog Hill is feeling better too. Nugget is the best. I never cared for chickens or birds in general until MaryCarl taught us so much. Now i absolutely love them.

That “thing” is a mess. I felt tired for a year. I also found that it is hard to concentrate with that headache for a while. I had to resort to list making. I am glad y’all are doing better! The family that works together benefits together. Please rest often and remember to take it slow. ❤️⚓️❤️

I’ve got fibromyalgia . List making is the only way I get things done. Glad your feeling better.
My Granddaughter & her family all have cv19, even their 2 1/2 yo son. I live in their guesthouse. Grammy's keeping my distance. 🤢lol

I had “C-brain fog” for almost a year afterwards. Drove me nuts! Take it easy and rest often. Hugs to all
Thank you for sharing about the brain fog. The "C" brain fog is so frustrating for me. I am still going through the brain fog. I am glad there is a light at the end of this.
I still have that too. One and a half years later. That thing is nasty.
And don’t worry about sleeping changes or taste changes. They are different also. Don’t like spicy foods before but LOVE them now. Hubby has developed a “sweet tooth “ that he never had. Also both of us have sleeping issues also. It’s nuts.
Please share if you did anything to help the fog. I hate it.

Seeing MC with her pigeon and her soft kind words talking about it just made my heart smile. god has truly given her such a gift and heart for His feathered creatures. Isn't it WONDERFUL you have a child old enough, physically big enough, and mature enough they CAN actually become chore partners when there are problems on the farm or homestead; or apartment and suburban home as well. 5 years ago, Mary Carl may have been willing and even known what to do but her "can" factor was smaller than what it is today. "Can" factor aside, it must give you a warm fuzzy feeling to realize and live within a world that your child is willing to step up (I don't care who or how wonderful a person is, not all chores are pure enjoyment or a day in the park.).

I LOVE the sounds of Scott! I used to attend a Summer camp where they had peacocks. Scott’s calls bring back wonderful memories.

I was thinking the same thing. Ozella's babies would be invisible in the tall grass. Ozella has excellent woodland camouflage coloration. Did not notice her at first in the clip where they are at the edge of the woods. Back when she was sitting on her nest she looked like a flat stone.

I’m going through it as well, napping whenever I’m tired and hydrating with water and lots of juices mainly those with protein which was advised by my Dr it’s good to have protein for healing. Prayers for you all. Annmarie

Understand your dilemma! It's difficult to get over "the mess", it seems to drag on & on. Try to be patient & give yourself lots of restful breaks & soak up all the love that your animals have for you!

I’m so glad y’all are feeling better! I lost taste and smell for about 2 months before it gradually started coming back. Will y’all extend the pasture on around to where Moody and Mildred could get in the pond during the hot summertime? Cattle love a nice cool pond to wade up to their neck in during our hot Alabama months.can’t wait to see your finished house! Hubby and I are needing to downsize in the next few years and are really thinking about a barn barndominium. Just a small 2 bedroom is all we need, heck even a 1 bedroom with a loft would suffice. Thanks for the update guys!
I think they mentioned something early on about everyone getting to enjoy the pond someday. I remember they said something about all the water troughs and pools they have to wash and refill every day and how the pond will replace all of that. And how much the geese will love the pond. I think the plan is to have it for anyone on the farm who wants to share. I'm sure you're right that everyone will enjoy it.

I grew sunflowers this year and was letting them go to seed for next year and the dang squirrels are stealing all the flower heads. Ugh. At least they're staying out of my herbs and vegetables. Glad you’re all doing better. Having had this last fall, I know the recovery is slow. It’s going to take a while before you’re 100%. Don’t rush doing too much at a time as it will only slow recovery more. As hard working as you all are, that will be hard, but please, slow down as much as you can. You don’t want a relapse.
