How to Automation: 1984 German Executive Sedan

Automation is a simulation game developed by Camshaft Software of New Zealand that lets you design and market your own vehicle designs, and BeamNG Drive is a vehicle physics simulator that lets you drive your Automation creations!
In this video I lay out the engineering choices to recreate a 1980s German sedan like a BMW 5 series or Mercedes W123, tell some of my tips and tricks to make better looking creations, and we see how it performs in some tough tests.

Somehow I doubt folks will see this, but I think y'all deserve an explanation. I had another vehicle filmed and ready and was into the editing process when my computer got a virus and crashed. I lost everything (stupid cheap ass backup external drive) and even lost my discord account access. Very, very demotivating.
So for the time being, while there is an automation project in the works, think I will pivot to general automotive-gaming content. I have a few hours of My Summer Car filmed and I intend to do a fictional vs real life analysis of the cars in the upcoming Saints Row - my channel got it's start when I did that for Mafia 2 in windows movie maker at the ripe age of 13 years old.
A tip I learned a few days ago, shift-click on the movement arrows and drag to duplicate 3D fixtures. Still, I love it.
This is genuinely after two years still one of the most impressive automation builds, i hope you'll eventually upload another one.

Found this in my UA-cam Recommended videos! I'd like to see maybe a late 90's to 2000's american sports car like a pontiac grand prix. As for tests maybe a quarter mile drag strip test, or a turning radius test? This was really fun! Good job on the video. XD

Nice build. It would be cool to see a '60 European or Japanese sports car or trim. Something like a BMW 2002 or a Nissan Skyline from that era. Another one would be a '90s iteration of what you have done here. A Lancia Stratos competitor would also make a good build. If you want to be in the interior when driving, make sure you have relative camera enabled in the options, choose it and use the movement keys to position it inside.

That had been the plan and still is to an extent. I had all the footage ready for an 80s American pickup but lost it all with a PC issue and it has been hard to motivate myself since.

Also, is the interior functional? Like the gauges and steering wheel; do they move etc?
No, there's a way to setup the camera to be in first person but as far as I understand you can't make the interior move appropriately like the vanilla Beam cars.
