Very interesting vid and nice band but I have a question. Is there a reason that you put the bigger side on top and the smaller side under ? I mean why is the bigger part a 12 and the smaller part at 6 ?
Love the RubberB (with tang buckle) on my Datejust. Perfect fit, easy installation. Looks awesome, get lots of compliments. I wear my Rolex daily now since it has a much sportier look.
BeChucky, this is a good question. It is so that the clasp is centered on the wrist better. On a regular Oyster bracelet, the clasp (from the manufacture) is positioned too far towards the 12-o'clock side of the wrist -- it's just the way the clasp closes into position. The shorter 6-o'clock side of the strap mitigates imbalance.
Problem with RubberB straps is they only come in one size. I got one of the Everest "custom" sizes and it works much better at centering my clasp on my wrist.
I don't see a size chart, at least for the model I needed: Rolex Explorer II 40mm. I see you can cut the 12-o'clock strap, but the 6-o'clock strap looks "universal," which doesn't work for me. Everest lets you choose a size for both the 12- and 6-o'clock ends (for use with the original clasp).
Your video is so ahead of its time.
Bless you!
TNX Jake, good job!!
The Subariner is very cool with the rubber b strap

What size do u wear?
very nice
why not tape the lugs to stop scratches
Be aware that this type of band will not work with a Glide Lock clasp. You need to order the band exclusive to the Glide Lock clasp. Trust me.

Rubber B website has a sizing chart - you can choose different size bands from XS to XL so your statement is not correct

Why are you doing this in the dark? So weird
Those lugs must be scratched to shit!
Dude,
Why are you using a knock off sub to makes video?
What makes it a knock off?
It's not a replica
Scratch scratch scratch ughhh
A tool using a tool to change a watch band, wow!
