Great video. Thinking about one of these but I also have small wrists and that moving retainer always drives me crazy. Do you think I could super glue it in place to function like the tabbed one?
Thanks for the video mate. Good to learn. In my opinion the 5 digit sports models are the strap monsters, the 6 digit models have lost that dark sidedness of customisation.
Need those tweezers! Congrats on the gifted Everest Strap, very cool! I bought a rubber strap when they first came out so it's a Rubber-B and everything I've seen the Everest Strap is way better! The Rubber-B is very short and thin while the Everest looks much beefier! Both expensive so at this point its the Rubber-B but will get the Everest one of theses days. Great video!!
Just recently bought the Everest rubber strap. I installed it on my Rolex Submariner, I noticed the bezel doesn't rotate as smoothly when it has the steer bracelet. Maybe cause it's still new. Just feels like its binding with the rubber strap
I’ve purchase a couple of stock rubber strap for higher end pieces and I don’t think I would do it again . The prices are ridiculous for what is a small piece of rubber with a tang buckle 200 to 300 hundred bucks is a lot of cash . Also have found in general there was too much tail which I hate and often the strap got little wrist time. After many years of searching I found a fantastic silicon strap on amazon for 10 bucks shipped , can’t believe how good it is...
You did great Guy, as always explanations were spot on. Do you know if those fatter spring bars would fit on the Grand Seikos? How are the holes in GS compared to Rolex holes.. Gettin horny here,, j k. J. K I say. Lol
I just did a quick search and this 7825 tool is $150 on esslinger.com I have an Everest strap for my DeepSea and it fits & feels great, excellent quality. I still prefer the bracelet but the rubber strap is good when the summer heat sets in.
I have my 2002 Sea-Dweller on that exact black rubber Everest strap. I change it to the metal bracelet in the summer. On cold days all that metal is uncomfortable. I have a 2010 Daytona on the racing black leather Everest, a great strap for the winter. I am looking hard at the Everest leather strap for the Daytona, the one with the integrated end links.
@justbluefish do you know why some 2018 116610LN’s have a short f and further apart m. While others have a long f and closer m? Does that matter at all?
Rolex has changed the dial printing, fonts, and spacing numerous times over the years and even within the same year. Here’s some discussion on the topic: www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=617852
its more compfy than the rubber b. but rubber b fits in prfectly, this one is squized at the lugs ... looks like rubber is stuck between those lugs and once the lugs are over it comes out again ...like at all points u do see the rubber being squezed at all times between the lugs
I bought that Bergeon tool for my Black Bay. After trying all types of bands, I returned to the bracelet. I find that the watch forms a whole with its bracelet and that it misses a significant part without it.
Great video thanks I want to get one of those straps in future I always think my wrist skinny but its 7" so similar to yours which looks larger lol I'll sub your channel, please check out my channel I've a few watch videos on it :)
I struggled with 7825 on this. The spring bar didnt line up and the bar kept pinging across the room lol so I used the 7767f and placed one end in hole on watch and then that tool pushed bar into hole without pinging lol the only problem on one end strap was the spring bar didnt fully line up so had to push or press with thumb the tip of spring bar down then used tool and that got it in. Darn, think I'll be getting more now lol
Yup Enjoyed it! And I’m ordering this tool right now for my Tudor which I have scratched a bit with the 6767f tool, but this tweezer seems to be the ticket! I believe I can clean up the underside with some scotchbrite pad, then a little polish with Cape Cod Cloth. What do you think? Thanks !
It’s expensive but it’s a great tool. I haven’t tried it on a Tudor but the forks are so fine they don’t work with most of the springbars I have tried them on.
Oh and I’ve never tried a scotchbrite on the brushed surface so I can’t say how that works from personal experience, but let me know. I might need to keep some on hand for those just in case moments if it does work.
JustBlueFish Watch Reviews I’ve tried it on cheaper stuff but in kinda nervous on my Tudor!😂 btw I’m contemplating a Hammie Broadway Chrono or a Mido Commander II Chrono , even though I’m drooling online on the Omega Speedy I cant afford it right now but since your excellent Reviews of it I’m chomping at the bit! 😂😂Damnit Guy!
I love my sub on a black sailcloth strap. The black on black always is a good look. Do you find it quite rigid on the sides though? I’ve had straps that push in the sides of the wrist almost making the watch float/hover over my wrist (if that makes sense?). Thanks for the video!
Just popped my first Everest on my 114060. Had bought the RubberB tang-buckle before: just couldn't get it to fit. So bought the RubberB velcro strap: perfect fit, but the loop protruded a good centimeter and spoiled the loook. Everest seems perfect. Will go out tonight for a steak and beer to put it through its paces :)
Was strongly considering these over the thanksgiving weekend sale until I figured I could't bend the Everest rubber straps inward to store them in my pocket, watch pouch, or anywhere else that needs to be flat. That means majority of the time the watch will lay on it's side. Settled for a Hirsch Arne green instead!
Nice strap. Compliments the watch, Looks better than the oyster which is very bland and dated. I hear Rolex are considering a revamp of it in 2042. So I'm putting mine on a rubber. Much better
Honestly that strap is SO comfortable! I would def wear this strap if I had a sub during summer near any water
It is very comfortable I’m enjoying it.
My two favourite options in this video: its either a nice metal bracelet or a high quality rubber strap.
I like the oyster bracelet a lot, but this is a fun change of pace.
Cool
Great video thanks. I love my sub but I don't like the steel strap. Going to fit a perlon.
Thanks Chris.
You scratch the rolex man
Yup just put some tape on the lugs..😂
Bergeon had different size tips for the spring bar tool the 6767F fits to take the submariner bracelet off
Great video. Thinking about one of these but I also have small wrists and that moving retainer always drives me crazy. Do you think I could super glue it in place to function like the tabbed one?
Aslo the spring bar on the Everest is smaller in diameter compare to the Rolex spring bar.
I assume its lighter too?
You were gifted a $300 rubber strap. Lucky man. Enjoy!!
Yes very lucky.
Any way someone could help me LC my submariner?
What?
Looks like you scratched the hell out of your watch … what a terrible demonstration dude .
who cares its just a watch?
Thanks for the video mate. Good to learn. In my opinion the 5 digit sports models are the strap monsters, the 6 digit models have lost that dark sidedness of customisation.
Hello sir, i for sure can reccomend those rubebr everest straps. I have same at my invicta pro diver right now i guees 2 years and still like new.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
So you’re saying Everest sent you a sample to review... Oh. Okay. XD
Im interested in the $10 version of that $200 tool. ;)
Me too!

I haven’t seen the Rubber B straps, but I’m really impressed with this Everest.
Show us how it looks on seiko wave rubber strap. Like what comes on the mini turtle
The Bergeon 6767F fits. The F stands for “fine”. But I agree that the 7825 is awesome.
I am using an F it doesn’t fit.
you can get the smaller tip for the Bergeon, looks like you have the 3mm, there is a smaller tip.
Thanks for watching.
hmm...the most interessting part of this video was covered by your hand . And the next part when you tried to fix the pins...was cut . Cheers !
Just recently bought the Everest rubber strap. I installed it on my Rolex Submariner, I noticed the bezel doesn't rotate as smoothly when it has the steer bracelet. Maybe cause it's still new. Just feels like its binding with the rubber strap
How’s the bezel rotation now after few years?
@@abadruls I end up using it for my Omega 300m.
do you have rubber b product too? they are as popular as everest rubber strap
hope to watch vids about both of them
I don't have a Rubber B unfortunately. Maybe I'll come across one eventually. If I do I'll make a video.
Kwanghyun Kim rubber b shits on everest
Does anyone know if you can still use the glide lock on buckle with the Everest watch strap
Love those Everest straps! Wanna get a couple for my Sub
I really want to try one of the leather ones now.

Yeah it is a lot of cash for sure. Still impressed with it but it could be a hair shorter.
You did great Guy, as always explanations were spot on. Do you know if those fatter spring bars would fit on the Grand Seikos?
How are the holes in GS compared to Rolex holes.. Gettin horny here,, j k. J. K I say. Lol
I’m not sure what size spring bars a Grand Seiko uses, sorry Joe. I’ve never taken a GS off it’s bracelet and looked at the holes.

Wow .. wish I'd had that tool when I was swapping bracelets ..
Thanks Jeff. Yes that’s the tool to have for the Rolex. Funny thing it won’t work with most standard springbars. The tips are too fine.
Rubber strap seems to suit the Daytona better. The nato strap is better for the submariner. With its echoes of Sean Connery as Bond.
Thanks for watching I appreciate it.
Nice strap. The Submariner looks great with pretty much everything, a “strap monster” as they say.
Ya it does!

Looks great on the Sub. But what wouldn’t. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching Dale.
Another great video Guy! Enjoy the new strap!
Thanks buddy!
What are the best spring bars to buy to keep handy or even replace existing ones for a range of watches?
I m not sure, I don’t know who makes and sells high quality spring bars.
@@JustBlueFish we all focus on the straps and bracelets but of the cheap bar gives way....
@Tom Smith it's spring loaded with tiny pins coming out and some are very flimsy... Scarily so
Get a 02 strap, its about $70 for a volcanized strap(normally use on the rubber b strap)
like the Everest straps cheers....
It’s a great strap.
7767f fits
But that tweezer is amazing
Thooorina moneee
Good info thank you very much
Thanks!
Can I put my Everest rubber strap from my Explorer II 16570 on my Submariner No Date 14060?
Nie
Rubber B also makes a quality band for Rolex.
Is it one size for all wrists? Or can you customize the size?
Do they work for Vintage Subs?
how much for the rubber band? I just brought the barton silicon with quick release, i think other band should add quick release function.
$230 on Everest direct, $100-150 eBay/forums, $25-50 eBay knock offs/imitation
Will fit omega seamaster?
Fantastic 😍👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks for watching.
@@JustBlueFish great channel
If you get the smaller (fine and extra fine) Bergeon spring bar removal tool tips i'm pretty sure that it'd fit. This video is misleading.
The video is misleading? All I said was the 6767-f I have doesn’t fit. How exactly does that mislead anyone.
Was strongly considering these over the thanksgiving weekend sale until I figured I could't bend the Everest rubber straps inward to store them in my pocket, watch pouch, or anywhere else that needs to be flat. Yeah since they fit snug to the case the strap doesn’t pivot and won’t lay flat.
Interesting point about a watch feeling smaller when on a strap. I've always felt that way.
Yeah it’s noticeable difference.
That tool is way too expensive for what it is, in my opinion.
It is.

Nice strap. Compliments the watch, Looks better than the oyster which is very bland and dated. I hear Rolex are considering a revamp of it in 2042.
