I enjoyed this so much! My Dollar Tree vinyl cutting didn’t do as well in the past, but hopefully they’ve improved their vinyl since, however, I’ve found many other very nice uses for their vinyl collection. The pink glitter is my favorite! I enjoy using it as mats in my photo frames in my craft room 😊
I haven’t seen your videos before. You have such a nice voice for videos and you have captured that elusive quality of moving along quickly enough so I don’t get bored and slow enough to really follow along and understand what you are doing. I am really not a fan of the “talking hands” type videos. I like how while you are showing your hands, you are actually doing the craft, not just talking with them! I have an art studio crammed with dollar tree craft items. 😊 They have some very nice items and there are some very crafty people sharing their projects on you tube. I look forward to checking out more of your videos.
I’m a huge fan of Crafter’s Square Brand Supplies! I’ve been crafting since I was a Child. I’m now a Grandma 😊 Just when I think they can’t come up with something new, they do! I just wish the stuff was available at all Dollar Tree Locations. They make Paint Pens, but I’ve never found them. (Not chalk writers but actual Paint Pens) Glad you liked what you got
Boy, you do good work! I 😢like to say that im envious of all you crafting people that going on the cruise. I know, I know, I should not be envious Cruising has been a life long dream and i love crafting. Are ya doing a giveaway maybe lol. No, really, ya'll have a blast!
Thank you so much. The only vinyl that didnt work was the glitter vinyl. It was a mess lol. I just wanted to say how soothing your voice is. Sometimes I dont watch some videos as the voices of the people are annoying. But yours is very soothing and easy to listen to
Well, Bethany, you have "converted" me! I am a card maker and have every possible tool and piece of equipment for making cards--including inky fingers! I have always said I don't need or want a Cricut. I just ordered the Cricut Joy and should have it within the next couple of days. I'll be following your videos for ideas, but I feel as if I have a great start with the ideas in this video. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Be careful, after receiving my Cricut Joy, I was hooked. 2 weeks later i got the cricut Air 3. Its addictive. I use my Joy all tge time even though I have the bigger one. It makes beautiful cards and labels.
Love that you are using the dollar tree vinyl. Honestly, it’s what I find I use the most. I made a custom name label for my daughters lunch box and it’s 3 years strong and hasn’t lifted or anything even with hand washing and how rough she is on her stuff. The only thing I would say is it will not be good for super fine details but for labeling or using on canvas. Honestly have had no issues. Love all your videos !
The flower shaped paint cup and palette is great if you HAVE A SMALL BIRD...put the water in the cup, duh, and place little treats for them in the Paint petals around the base. My conure loves it. I use it often when Im eating to keep him off my plate and put a bit of what Im eating on his "Plate" now. It makes him have to work for it and keeps him busy while Im munching. I try to eat healthy and feed him that way also.
I’m so glad you tried Dollar tree vinyl. I’ve recently purchased it out of curiosity. I have to reduce the cutting pressure but love, love, how easily it weeds. It does not perform well with small detail as it lifts off of its own paper some times. Be careful. I love your “simple man” videos and think the world of you. ❤
Hi from Québec (Canada). 🙋♀️ Here we have stores called "Dollarama" and we have had apparel for some years now. 🤗 I can always find blank Shirts, Socks, Baby Bibs... and even plain white Scrunchies so I can get my Tye Die kits out and play! hehe So cool! 🤩
Dollar Tree for the win! I’ve been shopping there for years for craft supplies. I was so excited when they brought in Crafters Square. You have some of the best videos. Love watching your tutorials and the ideas you show for crafting. I am very inspired by you. Thank you for sharing. 😀
Glad that works too! Since every cutting machine will naturally cut a tad differently, there are probably a lot of setting choices to test! I am super happy with how mine cut.
Omg how cute and simple is the Llama card!? Wow I want to make a bunch of these backgrounds!!!! Soooo sweet! Prob one of the cutest cards I've ever seen! Tfs!!! I LOVE your videos!
I used to love to go to Dollar Tree, & used to spend about $25 -$50 weekly....now since they raised their prices up 25%- I only go once a month & only try to spend about $10-$15 & only after going to the dollar area at Target, General Dollar, & Walmart!
i am the t shirt buying queen from our local dollar tree i buy them up all sizes it doesnt even matter i buy them alter them with my cricut and dollar tree iron on vinyl and sell them in my yard sales i can charge a lower price then because i have less in them they sell like crazy it helps me and it helps my neighbors
I was really surprised by some of the things that you found at Dollar Tree. I had no idea they had Joy mats, insert card sets and stamps! I will definitely be looking for those next time I am there. Thank you!
Watching again since I have been feeling sick, I fell asleep watching last night! I wish my Dollar Trees were as well stocked as the creators on UA-cam! My store is always in a state of disrepair or restock-nothing is on the shelves, just in boxes in the aisles. Will keep an eye out for these items though, love all your crafts, Bethany!! Thanks for sharing and inspiring me.
WoW …. What an amazing haul….. I am super excited to see how well the stamp sets worked. I have picked up the foam adhesive squares a time or two before. Also snagged an adhesive eraser too….. thanks for sharing these ideas.
I am glad you found a setting that works too! As I mentioned, I believe all machines will naturally cut a tad differently so I will probably stick with my setting since it cut beautifully.
I love how you decorated your joy. I hope one day you can demonstrate from beginning to end to end using your Cricut I like to how you use it. The only thing I see you use is the iron on press. Your ideas are great but I think I get more out of your demonstrations is if you show how you create your design on your Cricut.
Be sure to check out my earlier videos, where I share the whole process. I did it for years, start to end. But since I’ve done it so much, we just get to the crafting now. :)
Outstanding video!! Will be watching much more often! Thank you so much. Just so you know, I live in Silverton, Oregon, which is right next door to Salem💖💖💖
Awesome! Naturally everyone may use a different setting as our machines will cut differently. I am definitely sticking with my vinyl setting, it rocked it.
I'm astounded at what you have at your dollar store. My town in Canada, has very little for crafting and none of what you showed. The prices start at $3 and up so it's not the great deal it used to be. Oh, is my green envy showing through?😀
Thank you for the video. So jealous that you have a dollar tree. I would have to drive over 25 miles to the nearest one. But that's the trade-off for country living 🚜. I made notes in my binder wallet, so the next time I am near one, I'll pop in and see if I can take advantage of any of the items you nabbed ❤🩹
Really enjoyable video. You looked like you were having such a good time. I’m totally inspired to stop by there and pick up some items and craft with them. Thank you.
One of my local $trees has a product for vinyl weeding. but the nail polish holder looks better. My stores also carry a pick tool. If you want a finer pick you can use the multi pak dental kit that has some cleaning tools that are very sharp. Did you deliberately match ths vinyl to your nail polish? LOL I have had a cameo for many years. And I bought a couple of the sticky mats, which I haven't used them. I didn't realize they were for a cutting machine. I am glad to know this and eager to try them now. I have used metallic gift bags for metallic paper. For example a cut a number of gold crowns on my cameo and used pink adhesive glitter paper to make cupcake toppers for a Hello Kitty party.. The stamps are fine, but it can be good to use a stamp positioner so you can restamp some times. I use colored pencils to color the lamas slightly. If you get the dentil kit you can use the brush to splatter some paint. If you tape down the paper before painting and let it dry taped, it will warp less. I enjoyed the video a lot.
I love your aqua and hot pink glue gun and wanted to know where to find one to buy. I was unable to find it on *Amazon* when I typed it in the search box so, I looked for it online elsewhere. I found it on the ~Surebonder~ website. Dollar Tree 🌳 has come such a long way in the last few years in their crafting department. I'm very pleased with the selection. I've been a crafter for going on fifteen years. It's one of so many things in life that make me happy. Thanks for all your great project and organizational ideas. Happy Crafting!!! ✨️🎨🖌💎📿✂️🔫✨️
This is such an inspirational and informative video. I had no idea those blue mats were for the Joy. I have bought a couple thinking they were cutting mats and I just bought a joy recently so I am excited. Have never really made cards so going to try those insert cards. Love love love! Thank you for sharing. I am already subscribed but going back to see some more of your videos.
What a wonderful video! thank you for reviewing these products and showing their versatility. Off to the dollar tree today!! (hoping we have some of the same products in Canada)
Luv, luv my $ Tree store. It is always busy! I have several of the items you mentioned. I saw rubber stamps of the same quality that you showed in a high in craft store for $9.99! Those at $ Tree works great! I am a sticker nut & $ Tree has a ton of them...always getting new ones in! Their craft supplies are great!... by the way I luv your finished card. One last thing...isn't that the kind of eraser that artist use to remove masking fluid from their painting...which works great!
Thank you for this review. I look at the Dollar Tree vinyl whenever I'm in there and wonder how well it holds up. I may just give it a try now. I'm looking forward to your future video using your DT items.
Such a great informative video! Love that you share all the links too. My question is probably one you get asked a million times, but could you share what kind of nail polish and color you use? Hope you have a great weekend💕
Lovin’ your videos! Quick comment: TIP: @ 21:13 you show a cute stand for your alcohol markers…specifically copics… in which you show you are storing your markers vertically when in fact, alcohol marker should be stored horizontally to prevent drying. Glad you're loving my videos! Since horizontal storage is really just a recommendation, I find that the tilted storage doesn't have me worried since they are not vertical. The actual wooden marker storage that I purchased for my alcohol markers is slightly tilted as well and works beautifully.
I haven't seen the stamps yet but I did find some dies at dollar tree! Also found the joy mat and the insert cards. Great card! I'm inspired to use all the dollar tree vinyl I have. I hear most use the washing tape setting. I'm gonna try it out!

Thanks so much for the inspirational video. Just one question, how did you cut out the Llama and hello bubble?
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
This is the most gracious response to trolls and negative commenters I have ever seen. What a breath of fresh air.
Thanks!
Thank you so much, you are so so kind!

I love how you decorated your Cricut Joy! I am going to “ copy” your idea! Thanks,
I’m a huge fan of Crafter’s Square Brand Supplies! I’ve been crafting since I was a Child. I’m now a Grandma 😊 Just when I think they can’t come up with something new, they do! Nice Dollar Tree haul. I do have some of those items. Thank you for the share.
Now this making me want to go to Dollar Tree. I love that they have tools like the scraper and spatula. You can never have too many of those on hand.
Lots of fun things! I’m in Ogden, Utah✂️📍 ❤❤

Thanks for sharing!!!

Love that you are using the dollar tree vinyl. Honestly, it’s what I find I use the most. The only thing I would say is it will not be good for super fine details but for labeling or using on canvas. Honestly have had no issues. Love all your videos !
Thank you for showing the different craft tools and recommending how to use them.
I really like how you showed us exactly how to use each item you bought!
Glad that was helpful, I really enjoyed planning this video. :)
Great video! Thanks for testing and showing us some Dollar Tree craft supplies!
The flower shaped paint cup and palette is great if you HAVE A SMALL BIRD...put the water in the cup, duh, and place little treats for them in the Paint petals around the base. My conure loves it. My Dollar Tree just got the apparel, too. I bought one shirt to see how it would work with my heat press. I’m glad you shared this.

Oh yeah CRAFTER'S SQUARE is the best!. Enjoy your videos. TY for sharing.
I loved this, you are so creative with such a sweet spirit. Thank you.
I find when stamping with inexpensive stamps, cleaning them before use gets a better image.
So many great ideas!😮
Those scrapers are great for beside the sink for scraping stuff off plates and pots and pans.
Thanks for some great ideas!
You are so welcome!
I love your sweet videos. Great detail list of supplies, where to find things. Greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Love this informative video! Thank you for taking your time to help inspire others! I appreciate it!!
Thanks so much!
Oh my gosh I need to make little bags for my granddaughters to go to the library 💜 very inspiring.
I was also thinking these bags would be perfect for keeping up with library books!
Use the washi setting for dollar tree vinyl.
Glad that works too! Since every cutting machine will naturally cut a tad differently, there are probably a lot of setting choices to test! I am super happy with how mine cut.
I think that you are the only crafter I follow who actually has scissors that work!! HA!😆
Omg how cute and simple is the Llama card!? Wow I want to make a bunch of these backgrounds!!!! Soooo sweet! Prob one of the cutest cards I've ever seen! Tfs!!! I LOVE your videos!
I am obsessed with how that card turned out! I want to recreate it a million times!
@Bethadilly YES!! Me too! It's sooo cute!
Such a well laid out video. Love the explanation on that eraser. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
I really enjoy your channel, Bethany. This video is great, it’s full of helpful tips and useful yet inexpensive Dollar Tree finds. TFS!
I used to love to go to Dollar Tree, & used to spend about $25 -$50 weekly....now since they raised their prices up 25%- I only go once a month & only try to spend about $10-$15 & only after going to the dollar area at Target, General Dollar, & Walmart!

Such great ideas!! Off to dollar tree, hehe!🥰

I love their glass containers! I gave some as cookie and candy jars with some fun vinyl for Christmas.
Loved this video! I had no idea Dollar Tree had so many wonderful things for your craft space. Thank you so much 😊
What a fun video! You did a wonderful job creating with the items you purchased! Great inspiration…thank you.
I was really surprised by some of the things that you found at Dollar Tree. I had no idea they had Joy mats, insert card sets and stamps! I will definitely be looking for those next time I am there. Thank you!
I love your crafts, you are one of my favorite crafters. I always look foward to your videos...
Thanks so much 😊
LOVE! Now I need to make a trip to dollar tree
Did that with them and it works great

Honestly, my store is either fully stocked or empty. This was a lucky shopping day.
WoW …. What an amazing haul….. I am super excited to see how well the stamp sets worked. I have picked up the foam adhesive squares a time or

I’ve tried the dollar tree vinyl and it’s best in my opinion to use the washi setting.
I am glad you found a setting that works too! As I mentioned, I believe all machines will naturally cut a tad differently so I will probably stick with my setting since it cut beautifully.

Outstanding video!! Will be watching much more often! Thank you so much. Just so you know, I live in Silverton, Oregon, which is right next door to Salem💖💖💖
Dollar Tree vinyl I use the washi tape setting and less pressure.

It was a great haul!
Use window cling setting for dollar tree vinyl is my best setting

I need to try a reverse canvas. Another great video. 😊
I love your aqua and hot pink glue gun and wanted to know where to find one to buy.

Great video 💕subscribed ✅
TFS,IDK if you found them but Dollar tree also have a weeding tool and stylus that are similar to the circuit one
What a wonderful video! thank you for reviewing these products and showing their versatility. Off to the dollar tree today!! (hoping we have some of the same products in Canada)
I love the shroom painting! More, please.
Have you ever considered llamas or sloughs?
Thank you for sharing your talents.
Can’t wait to try these! Also so excited for the DT card making video!

Loving all the things! Congrats on 100k😍🤗
I have to go check my Dollar Tree! Such great ideas! I still haven’t tried their vinyl yet but now I’m wanting to.
Such a great informative video! Love that you share all the links too. My question is probably one you get asked a million times, but could you share what kind of nail polish and color you use? Hope you have a great weekend💕
Great video. Thank you for your explanations. I need to visit our Dollar Tree as I haven’t been there lately.
I’m so excited! I watched your video with the 123 punch board so I bought one today! I’m so excited and inspired!
Can you do a video showing how to do iron press with an actual iron for us who cannot afford a heat press
Lovin’ your videos! Quick comment: TIP: @ 21:13 you show a cute stand for your alcohol markers…specifically copics… in which you show you are storing your markers vertically when in fact, alcohol marker should be stored horizontally to prevent drying. This is probably OK for short term usage, but not long-term😊
Glad you're loving my videos! Since horizontal storage is really just a recommendation, I find that the tilted storage doesn't have me worried since they are not vertical. The actual wooden marker storage that I purchased for my alcohol markers is slightly tilted as well and works beautifully.
I use the mini storage container you put the pens in lying flat instead of standing up and put all Cricut tools in
I haven't seen the stamps yet but I did find some dies at dollar tree! Also found the joy mat and the insert cards. Great card! I'm inspired to use all the dollar tree vinyl I have. I hear most use the washing tape setting. I'm gonna try it out!
No washi setting on Joy. I wonder what would campair to washi setting.
Honestly, the premium vinyl setting worked so well that I’m sticking to it. :)
Hi thanks for sharing this video super awesome but I was trying to find the second pard you trying the dies from dollar tree didn’t find it ❤
Hi, love your updates to your craft room and great ideas for Dollar Tree products in organization of your space. Is a heat press required for the products or is it ok to use Cricut’s presses? Thank you! 😊 .
You are so lucky to have a place to pick up cheaper little treats for crafting. We don't really have anything like that in the UK. Love your videos.
Dont feel bad. Im in Canada and our DTs are behind the States. Our craft supplies in DT are limited. I find a ot of these goodies in thrift shops
Hi! I'm also living in Canada (Québec in fact) and I was wondering if you had at least Dollarama stores where you live?
If my paper is warped I run it through my die cutting machine and it comes out flat. Thank you for the great ideas!
This was an excellent video! I love how you demonstrate and explain what you’re doing. I’m a new subscriber! 😊
