Been following this project, excited to try it out! I've been particularly impressed with all the performance optimizations you've done and look forward to trying them out in my own projects.
Looks interesting for some cool break-time game. I like the sci-fi theme and the speed of driving and avoiding things. But the length of trips with passengers feels way to short, same is the distance between one trip and the other.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you like the looks of it. Most of the videos I post are of a predetermined passenger distance ("red" passengers). "Blue" distance fares are longer, and "green" are the longest fares of all. Each type are similar in distance.
Thanks Juris. I have a tweet scheduled for the morning (eastern time). Plenty of willing people so far! The response has been great. But I'm in no rush and want to diversify on the computer specs of beta testers as much as possible to cover as many basis as I can. But if you wish to share on Twitter it certainly won't hurt ;)
Hey mate, Have you been marketing your game through social media/contacting the press/etc? I've got some videos I can link you regarding marketing from GDC talks if you want. If you are aware of all this, then no problem. Your game has so much potential and I believe it deserves many eyes.

Hi Cassius, how did you manage to fill the city with so many animated billboards? Looks like a lot of work. Any shortcuts? (stock images, paying artists, repeats etc)
Hi, The billboards aren't animated - they're static images. As for shortcuts, almost all of them are stock images and there are definitely plenty of repeats (which is ok for me since most billboards are not unique in real life). Coming up with ideas for each billboard took quite a bit of time (I asked ppl on Reddit for help*), as did finding images that represented the idea. I also browsed plenty of stock images and tried to come up with ideas for text that might match the image if I liked it. * www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/jhw3iu/i_need_your_help_coming_up_with_catchyparody/ The thread ended up locked so perhaps this wasn't the best approach.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I haven't been doing much marketing and I'd probably find the video(s) useful :)
