Hi Karen. I have had this book for a few months now, it is stunning. The paper is good quality and the pictures are so varied . If I could be cheeky, would you please consider doing the waterfall page?? I don't think many others would choose that one with all the cute critters but I would love to see your take on cascading water. Many thanks.
These are lovely little books, but I can't bring myself to pay $25 a piece for them. They are like $8 in France. Really sticking it to us on this side of the pond.
Hi, Karen. I really like this book. I like illustrators who stand out among the rest with eccentric art-work. The animals look like something you would see in a children's story book. Thanks for the flip through, I enjoyed it.
Hi Karen, I keep hearing everyone talk about looking up subjects they see in a coloring book. How do look up an animal, flower or anything else when you don't even know what it is , or even where it's located? Thanks
How I do it, I will look at the animal and google its type (bird, wild cat, deer, dog... ) any outstanding marks (beak, feathers, stripes, dots, antlers, spots...) if the picture has mountains/water/tropical foliage you can include that in your search too. It should come up with something close to the subject you want to color... I will sometimes also include the area that the illustrator is located in... flower and leaves come in so many different colors, you can use what ever you want that makes you happy 😊
