I can remember that 2009 season like it was yesterday. And I remember going to Houston that preseason & watching the team play & how well they were playing defensively & how together they were in preseason & I was stunned. I knew then that they could be special. Then I remember them going on the road in LA & just throttling the Raiders again in preseason. I knew after seeing that game that this team was very special & I started telling all the guys in Lafayette that this team was going to the Superbowl. And I remember the day the day they played the Vikings in the NFC championship. I came in from offshore that morning & I couldn't help but cry three different times on the way home from Fourchon because I knew the Saints were going to win that night. I knew it was going to be a very tough game, but I knew some how God was going to give them the will & the way to win. And when Garret Hartley made that field goal to win the game I cried like a baby because of the greatness which God had blessed this team. As much as I loved & believed in that team, I love & believe in this team even more. This is the best team the Saints have ever had, and they have overcome even more adversity than that team with this gauntlet of a schedule & tough teams they have defeated. Every single player on this roster has contributed something special to this team. And they will have to play their way to win it all on the road. And I believe their greatness will even over shadow the greatness of the first great Saints team. I have been on my knees praying for them the whole season. And I will continue to pray for God's blessings on them to overcome a league which I know does not want them to win. God bless the black & gold. WHODAT!
