It's not an uncomfortable ride, you just get more feedback in the seat than in the regular Countryman. Smaller wheels might help, but the JCW wheels look too good to pass up

I have one on a ship. However, that sound FYI is 100% fake and piped in, you need to research your product before making the video. I test drove my dealers demo unit and we turned off the sound and the Mini is quiet even in Go-Kart mode. Second, please invest in a microphone, your test drive made me question my order as it sounds like the car is falling apart with all the noise...hence you having to use captions. I appreciate the effort but the repeated use of the phrase that its a family car first is actually NOT the message Mini USA is using for the JCW. Again, research.
Thanks for your feedback I'm still pretty new to filming these reviews and I'm troubleshooting why my GoPro microphone cuts in and out like that, but I assure you the new Countryman is very quiet inside and fit and finish is better than any MINI I've ever driven (which is quite a few). As for the exhaust sound, most new cars use Active Sound from the speakers. I'm not a big fan of it either, but it's something we all have to get used to over time, unless you want an aftermarket exhaust. This is mostly due to noise regulations for EU markets, I believe the exhaust pops are genuine, but the "engine sound" is what's enhanced. The Countryman JCW is 100% a family car and does a fantastic job of giving you practicality with enough sporty driving dynamics to keep you engaged. It's personality isn't that it's sports car, just a quick, great driving, car with plenty of room for 5 people. Congrats on your order, it's an awesome car and I wish you many smiles per mile!
The pops , etc in go cart mode is through the speakers. It’s piped in. Still fun tho
