I've failed the Ontario Bar multiple times previously (almost a decade ago now) and am about to try again as it would help further my career path and family life. This was a great motivational video before I start my journey again! Congratulations to you passing the BAR and here I go again!
Hi i love you already! I am a licensed mining engineer in the Philippines, and I am planning to pursue my law school dreams! this really helped a lot! Thank you!
They said third time is a charm,Am officially pass my bar exam now. To all my repeat test taker I pray y'all make it some day but will advise you keep reading and believing in yourself ☺️🎉
I just failed my Bar Exam.😭😭😓 I cannot begin to articulate the level of embarrassment and heartache I'm feeling. 😥 I'm confident that I will be a good Layer. I just need to get past this And move on.
@@susandorothy9883 Just say "I haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal.
Hi Kenya, thanks for watching! :) My barrister exam was on June 8th and solicitor was on June 30th. I started studying on April 19 so about 10 weeks. But I did schedule breaks in between (Sundays off).
Congrats Mithea! Thank you for making this video. Would you be willing to make the indices that you used available? I completely understand if you can't! Thanks :)

Hey, firstly congratulations on your success ❤. You hardwork paid off. I am an LLB graduate from Pakistan planning to take NCA. I really like your studing method as it resembles mine, so I would really appreciate your guidance. Is there any other way to connect you?
Hi! Thank you for this video! Since the professional responsibility and by law are the same for both barrister and solicitor, would you recommend printing 2 copies of each, or just 1? Thank you!
Hi Annie! I only printed one but I wrote my exams virtually so I could keep the materials. I'm not sure if that's the case when writing in person, so it's probably best to print two.
The Bar Exam is like the Final Boss of the worst video game you ever played . . . lou already conquered the exam to get into law school . . . then all the exams in law school itself . . . but here's two turbo-charged tests you have to pass or else all those previous tests mean nothing . . . congrats on getting that PASS . . . can't wait for the day.
Thank you! I started articling a month after I wrote both the barrister and solicitor exams. I basically treated studying for the exams as my 9-5 job 😅
@@TheJurisJourney Thank you! :) When you mention that we should bind the indices separately from the materials, what do you mean by that? Should we bind them in a separate book and not put them with each topic (ex: real estate indices with real estate materials etc.)?
@@mihokitamura3530 Yes that's what I mean! So you'll have two "books". One book of real estate indices and one book of real estate materials (and repeat for other areas of law). That way your book isn't clunky and difficult to navigate. If it's all in one book, it will require lots of page flipping back and forth.
Liked and subscribed, ready for your next post dear. Congrats!!!!! you made it. would you please just guide me concerning the way you purchased exam questions for each topics ? Thanks Mithea
Thank you so much Aubin! :) I purchased practice tests from Bar Exam Crackers, Emond and Ontario Law Exam. Bar Exam Crackers allows you to work on individual practice areas instead of an entire test in one sitting. So I would use Bar Exam Crackers to do untimed practice questions for each area of law. This helped me familiarize myself with the types of questions and where things are located in my study materials (indices, charts, etc). After drilling questions in each area of law, I would do a timed full practice test (Emond and Ontario Law Exam). I hope this helps and please let me know if you have further questions!
@@TheJurisJourney amazing video, thanks for doing this. I failed the Barrister exam this past November and your tips are definitely helpful. I only did a couple practice exams and I think thats what hurt me. Which company do you think has the most realistic bar exam samples?
@@YouGotTriggeredLOL Thank you so much, studying for the exams was so daunting but I'm glad I can help others through it. Tbh, none of the practice tests were similar to the actual exams but I found the Emond and OLE questions difficult. So I think those would be good practice!

Hi JW, each exam is 4 hours long and is composed of 160 multiple choice questions. The questions are not evenly distributed by area of law. However PR questions are scattered throughout.

I am in the same boat as you were in, giving both exams at the same time. How many weeks did you have for your barrister exam?
I had about 6 or so weeks from the release of the bar exam materials to the date of my barrister exam.
