I disagree with Tamar on this, I’m not going to force myself to date someone else when I’m still healing just to prove to my ex that I have moved on. I do not owe my ex anything nor am I obliged to prove anything to him. I owe myself ample time to heal and enjoy some me time. Trust and believe, you are doing yourself a great disservice by rushing your healing process… the pain always catches up on you either way.

The advice Tamar gave is the WORST dating advice! You do not get over the last one, you will actually find yourself comparing your ex to that new man all the time in your head with absolutely everything!!! You only get more and more hurt. You start feeling bad for those comparing thoughts and for still loving your ex, while you’re in a whole new relationship. The things that Tamar said about going out and trying to show that you’re “having fun” with a “new man” and you’re posting it all on social media with the intention of making your ex jealous is sooooo immature and dumb. That’s for teenagers, grown women know better so we should do better. Who cares if he’s living his best life or not ? Go live yours!!!
I did that a couple of times, I would get out of a relationship and 3-4 months later I would get into another one, I’m telling you is the WORST thing ever. You DO NOT NEED someone new in your life to make you feel better, you NEED A NEW YOU!!! Work on yourself for a long time until you’re completely healed, being single and secure will be one the best seasons of your life ♥️🙏🏼
That was dumb advice, especially when your ex has seen it all with you and nothing you do can interest them because your ex knows your type of person, childish and petty. What she said was telling. A weakness that a man knows. I had to ask if that was why she went with David after her divorce from Vince. What if your ex-spouse has already moved on? When Wendy did Hot Topics on her new man at the time, David, Wendy said something that reminded me of what Tamar explained.
