I'm from the Caribbean and the same way people who live in cold climates come here to vacation, we like to travel for vacation to somewhere that isn't necessarily where you live everyday. It doesn't matter that you live near the beach.

I feel like the ladies were being mean towards tamara when she was talking about her family vacation story. Just bc she lived in hawaii doesn't automatically mean her family was well off. Everyone's experience is different and you could tell she was getting annoyed that they weren't taking her seriously

They grew up poor, these ladies were so annoying to her in the first two years. They treated her like some sheltered child because she was successful. But whatever she was making 4x their salary so it’s fine

Honestly crazy to watch them talk about people taking jobs. When Tamar became sick I definitely feel like producers saw that the ratings weren’t going lower and they were doing fine without her. What I’m trying to say is Tamar is a perfect example as to why people don’t take vacations because you never know . It’s takes only one little thing for somebody to wanna replace you. I know Tamar situation is different I’m just saying maybe she didn’t get really sick she would’ve still been on the show
Tamar was sick and could’ve been a liability due to her being very I’ll that’s a difference…it don’t matter what industry you’re in you can be here one day and gone the next if you’re not around ! Nobody took her spot for 4 years so she wasn’t easily replaceable
I never said was easily replace what I’m saying is when she was sick for a very long time produces are able to see that the ratings didn’t drop. It’s a part of life I think it’s very sad but I understand why some people may stress leaving their jobs because you never know

Yeah,if she didn't get sick,she would have never gotten fired .She was the star of the show,but when she wasn't there,they realised that they can do without her. She was also the most expensive as the show had to pay her and Vince. They were a package deal.
Tamar almost died so I don't think she took that time by choice. I think her attitude might have gotten her fired.

I wanted to finally take a vacation and my boss denied it. I had over three weeks vacation and since was the first time I was going somewhere, I went to HR and got my time off.
All five they do a great job together team work 👍 great job 👍🙂
Ugh this type of work environment makes me cry. I am a child development graduate and we studied countries who put family and experiences first (as Tamara said) and it made me so disappointed in America. 😭 work is not everything. Your kids are only young so long. There are countries with mandatory 25 hour work weeks, just so you can be at home with family. FULL TIME is 25 hours not 40. They have mandatory “holidays” to take with family. They have YEAR LONG maternity leave to BE WITH FAMILY. And America doesn’t care about any of that. It’s all work. We can’t afford child care, we can’t afford to take time off, it’s ridiculous. I would kill for more time with my husband and kids. Working 9-5, only getting 2 days off, and maybe 4 hours a night with my family? Baby this ain’t it.

If even God had to rest on the 7th day, what makes us humans think we don't need to rest? I believe in working hard from the time you wake up to going to sleep, but only 6 days a week. God said to rest and keep the sabbath holy.
Just take the vacation, it’s important to actually live outside of work. Here in Scandinavia we take vacations and holidays really serious, which I love. Because I have time to be with my family & friends, and I’ll just relax with no worries, while still making money.
