Noreena Hertz is an economist, professor and author. She has written fundamental books on current economics such as ‘The Lonely Century’, ‘The Silent Takeover’ and ‘Eyes Wide Open’. Her work goes against the grain of conventional narratives and examines not only the financial implications, but also the social, environmental and ethical implications of economic policies.
