I find that in a lot of GDQ races, the runners will be pretty focused on the game they're playing and it'll be up to couch to take over on commentary, but this is a rare case where both runners not only commentate, but also seem to have pretty good chemistry on screen. They're both naturally friendly, and definitely seem to be genuinely cheering eachother on rather than playing up a rivalry for comedy. Just a comfy yet impressive race.

There's the game they were playing, Banana Mania. VERY fun and it has 300+ levels. At first, I didn't think I would be able to play and like it. I fell in love after playing a bit.
This is delightful! Great banter between the runners, incredible strats all the way through. Plus it’s motivating me to boot up this game and beat the damn Launchers level I got stuck on
I was really disappointed that SEGA chose to change the physics system when they changed the engine to Unity, but the main game still plays really well and it's amazing to see that these runners have just smashed it. 🤘
I actually had some pretty miserable moments playing this. Satisfying as always to see the levels beaten, but also comforting to see even players like these still have a tricky time of it
Races are the most fun segments at GDQ and as dumb as it sounds the HYPE comment really made me miss in person events. Hopefully we'll get back to them soon.
The party games were ruined (especially Monkey Target) but I think they nailed the single player here. Definitely pick this up if you're craving a Monkey Ball fix.

Monkey ball games always end up being some of my favorite speedruns to watch. I have never beaten one myself but they sure are something to see.
