    My mouth is watering! True engineering that new Gardiner is.

    We'd love to see the new Gardiner Ultimate High Reach pole up 74 feet!
    What would be truly telling is seeing the Gardiner and Reach-it up at maximum height side by side. Finally settle things so we could all just move on and clean some windows!! ....$$,$$$

    Thanks so much for the quality production and thorough review.
    Could you do a little video about the Gardiner Ultimate extensions?

    The pole skin is going to be adding a bit of weight on the reach it, but their are many pros to having it there. The high clamp problem can be solved by extending the first 3 sections horizontally.
    The pull apart function is fantastic! I clean a lot of 2 story homes it's like having 4 poles in 1 which makes it lighter!
    if you are using a 40 ft pole on 10ft windows think about that weight adding up...
    Now reach it has developed extensions that insert in the middle of the pole allowing you to go to 8 stories with the stiffest pole available. (reach-it Procession)
    The constructor brush with side2side is a game changer I could never go back to a standard brush.
    I LOVE my reach-it. there are a lot of great things about it that were skimmed over in this video.
    I have never used gardiner, i'm sure its a great pole but they do not have the customer service that Perry gives, nor do they have a database of instructional videos. I will be a reach-it customer for life.

    We have never owned Reach-It poles but we have had numerous breakages with the Gardiner poles and we have received ZERO warranty support from Gardiner. Currently, we have a pile of broken Gardiner Extreme poles in our shop (two #1 sections, two #2, a #3, and a #5 section). We had the same issue with the older Super-Lite series and we got rid of them and "upgraded" to the Xtreme series thinking we would have better luck with durability. No such luck. Gardiner will not warranty ANY of them citing excessive lateral pressure (which isn't the case) and abuse since some have superficial scratches. We have four complete sets of poles plus additional base sections but since some were purchased within the warranty period and some weren't, Gardiner considers all of them to be outside of warranty. We will never buy any of Alex Gardiner's products again.

    what is Gardiners number as I want to buy a 30ft pole from them.?

    I really don't know yet, Joshua. Alex Gardiner has been away and only sent me the one 46fter for evaluation. The pole has not yet been released. It says that it has telescopic extensions.

    I am a die hard Gardiner fan,( I own 6 off the top of my head) but this was an obviously very biased comparison. wearing the Gardiner shirt was his first mistake. The Reach it is a good pole, just a different philosophy than how Alex Gardiner designs his. If I were basing my next purchase on this review, I'd be buying the reach it just because of the ridiculous nature of this advertisement. I hope that Alex had nothing to do with this.

    Richard and John, the images surely speak for themselves. The Reach-iT pole is 40ft in length, they advertise it as 45ft reach. It is a stupid pole length as it is in between a commercial 3-4 storeys, i.e. not quite long enough to reach 4 storeys in many instances. You can clearly see in the video that it is shorter than the Gardiner poles. Wearing the Gardiner T-shirt is showing honesty and declaring my bias.

      elatedperk in which case you are not in the best position to make a review. There are claims that you make about the Reach-It pole that are not true. For example, when the clamps are appropriately adjusted, I get zero rotational torque out of my Reach-It pole. Also, when said clamps are correctly adjusted, the separator sections do not slide out the way you make it look like they do. You have to open the adjuster all the way to make the pole separate at these sections. I like Gardiner poles too, I used one when I was based in the UK, but your treatment of the Reach-It pole is borderline slanderous, or else you just didn't set it up correctly. Poor reviewmanship of four quality products!

      @Window-Cleaning-World  9 років тому +1

      It's a shame Richard that you did not get value out of this review. We used to sell Reach-iT and were unhappy having to deal with the endless warranty issues, especially with clamps and broken pole tips, end defenders that come off, jets that on the brushes that break off and generally the poor way in which Perry treated these claims. The ergonimic aspects and overall design of this pole was clearly shown to be inferior to Gardiner. The images do not lie but a closed mind might not see it...

      elatedperk I have personally not experienced these issues with Reach-It or Perry or his customer service or warranty. I have been able to contact him personally whenever I have needed help and he has always responded same day. He has bent over backwards to resolve the only issue I have had so far. As said above, I have used Gardiner poles in the past and would not rule out using them in the future if needs be. For now, my Reach-It pole serves me just fine.

      @Window-Cleaning-World  9 років тому +1

      Richard Whitlock good for you! But that is not a universal experience for other Reach-iT customers. We used to stock Reach-iT,and customer service was lacking and warranties were NOT always homoured.

    Of course it was bias, his first comment said it was. If you think he wasn't being obviously bias your nuts. However, there is 0 opinion on a scale. That is fact. Also reaching way in the air for clamp adjustment is fact. The arrows bending, fact. The Ultimate being stiffest, fact. The lighter the pole the easier to work with, fact. The gardiner quick connect being quick, fact. Reach-it Pro is 39', fact shopwindowcleaningresource.com/reach-it-pro.html.

    • @locke5954
      @locke5954 9 років тому +1

      Ben Adriance Okay since you love facts - The Reach-It range are the only poles compatible with the best pivot action, simultaneous rinse, fully adaptable brush in the industry, fact. Look up Constructor and tell me that's not a game changer. You can make a pole as light as you like, it won't make window cleaning as effortless as that brush makes it. For that reason alone, the competition has some catching up to do. Of course it's horses for courses. If lightweight is your priority, enjoy your Gardiner.

      Richard Whitlock Richard, Gardiner has had a swivel brush socket for quite some time now: gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/brush-fittings-jets-sockets-scrapers/swivel-brush-socket.html
      or this one: gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/brush-head-attachments/the-new-super-scraper-trade.html
      and this one: gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/goosenecks-pole-fittings/plastic-gooseneck-system/quick-loq-resi-neck-type1-long-swivel-new.html
      ...and other INNOVATIVE attachments such as the Super Scraper: gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/brush-head-attachments/the-new-super-scraper-trade.html
      There is no catching up to do by Gardiner. The Constructor brush is heavy with water circulating all the way around the brush in 8mm tubing (not 6mm tubing like Gardiner). Every gram counts. The brush ends are round with limited splay so getting into the corners is not so good.
      The Reach-iT swivel attachment does not allow you to reach over a double brick window sill.
      Having said all of that, Reach-iT is still a reasonable choice of pole system, but outclassed by the many options Gardiner offers

      Richard Whitlock The best swiviling action in the industry is provided by Wagtail. We provide the best swivelling experience with a Jetstream and Gardiner Erkenomic pole tip:

      elatedperk I beg to differ! Constructor brush and Side 2 Side from futureofcleaning.com work better than the Jetstream for my applications. I have been using it for a week and find it to be the most effective.

      Richard Whitlock You were refering to the best swivilling action which is simply Wagtail, full stop. Reach-iT has only just caught up to the rest of the industry. Agreed that a pad is not always the best choice for all applications.

    DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYONE IN S. CALIFORNIA THAT OWNS AN "ULTIMATE" GARDINER POLE.... I COULD REALLY USE THERE HELP ON A 7 STORY BUILDING! (WILLING TO BUY MORE EXTENSIONS IF NEEDED)

    What a fool!! Made himself and Gardiner look silly. Hope they didn't sponsor this pile of biased crap. As a Gardiner user, im happy with their prices and quality but if you're going to gain any good reliant marketing exposure, this video does the opposite! Cringy to watch! Even his response to people's remarks are hilarious 😂
