ahhhh the outlander..... might not have been the best car in it's class but my 2009 (2.4 mivec) starts up every morning and does whatever job i trow at it without complaining. They are bulletproof! and they drive like a dream for a small suv thanks to the lancer platform. Only problem after 12years i had is 1 interior light bulb and 1 exhaust mount rusting away (i live in Switzerland we get lots of salt on roads)
Good question. If you love speed and sporty driving, you go for the outlander. And 7 seats is also an advantage. The kluger is only 5 seats. If you love resale value, the kluger it is. But if you chose the 3,3.3 or 3.5l of the kluger you'll probably drive it much longer than the outlander
I would like to disassociate with you, Kluger is by far a perfect car, even when it comes to handling, outlander only beat kluger interms of 4wd, interm of space, speed, comfort and choice s of engine, kluger beats outlander, interms of fuel the different is more the same, note kluger has 2.4cc 3.3cc hybrid and 3.5v6 kluger has an automatic gearbox unlike the outlander with unreliable cvt gearbox, spear parts for toyota is readily available, by any means I would choose kluger over outlander. Kluger also has 7 seaters, but of the two cars, the third row seats are useless, maybe for children below 10 years

Both are great, but the Outlander will be cheaper to maintain.
