Spectacular view looking down towards the abbey / priory and the hills in the distance, lovely grounds too for wandering around. Wow that river was really moving!

My sister and brother in law used to live at Howgill lodge , late sixties/early seventies, no amenities in those days! They did have a toilet tent which she had to move around the site every couple of days and dig a fresh hole for “ the business “ . Funny the things you remember
Fantastic views of both aspects of the building. I would have sworn I could hear monks singing. Thanks Bob and Jenny always feels like we are travelling with you.
Very narrow that arch, we were breathing in with you 😬 Enjoying this series, interesting to see a different Motorhome layout and also the location is great to see as we missed this bit when we recently visited the area 👍😁

What a fabulous place that looks. Thanks Bob 🙌☕️
Yes, it really is.
This area takes us back. Our very first Caravan site in the late 70’s was Howgill Lodge a short distance from Barden Bridge
It's a beautiful area.

We visited Bolton Priory when we were in the UK a few years ago. Thanks for showing us through it again. Reminded us what a lovely place it is.
Wow we've been to the site 4 times & never seen the river flowing so fast, I bet the narrow part of the Strid would have been impressive
Excellent video as always, thank you both, take care 🇮🇲🇮🇲
That's an interesting ruin
Couldn't believe how high the river was, so much so you couldn't see the stepping stones. Thanks for sharing. Janet

Beautifully maintained priory and grounds. Thanks again for taking us on your journeys.
I applaud you driving through that archway!
Great video. Bet that was frightening crossing that river?
I felt like I could feel the weight of the water!

Great video and driving Bob!
Thank you 😊
As an Adamo 69-4 owner I shall be interested in how your experiences compare with ours. it does fly along somewhat and needs reigning in frequently.
Yes, needs a light touch on the accelerator, unlike my size nines!
Great place x
Hi Bob and Jenny, will you be doing some kind of interim assessment of the bailey before you end the trip or will you be leaving it to the end?
We'll be commenting on it as we go along, our opinions may change.
What happened to your other mobile home? The Fiat?
You must have missed the first in this series. Have a watch here

They had to live in poverty, live in a palace and were fed well. Rich living by most standards in the impoverished Middle Ages.
