I was actually getting to the stage where I didn't even want to take the Pajero out any more due to unrealistic expectations thanks to certain other 4WD UA-cam channels. You guys have kept it real and got me inspired again to tackle some tracks and do some camping with the family. In a world full of sponsored $200,000 trucks thank you for being the most realistic and genuine channel on UA-cam
Nice one boys.👍 You three (Patrick, Liam, Dan) are natural host. You should have your own Offroad TV show. The major networks in Australia should snap you guys up.👏
Great to see you lads enjoying yourselves. Meeting everyone, looking at all the cars. It was good to finally see some recognition for your channel. Congratulations boys.
8:10 The motor is a 4.0 L V6 1GR-FE, and the trd roots supercharger came on some toyota tacomas in the US and Is still produced as a supercharger after market today by magnuson and many more
Guys y'all did an amazing job with this video. It was better than some high budget stuff I've seen on TV. I also like seeing all you guys together. Need to do more videos with everyone together. Hope you get more exposure from this. I live on the other side of the world in Louisiana USA and love watching your videos. I'm building and overland vehicle right now from a 2006 Lexus gx470 or a Toyota Prado where you are from
Good show gents. I didn't go this year, but enjoyed your take of the show. I'm with Dan, I like 4WDs that are underrated or underdogs, but built to be uber capable, like the grandpa spec looking rigs on the outside but wholly modified underneath. Wolves in sheeps' clothing. Thanks for the show summary.👍👍👍
So glad you guys had a ripper show!! Hope you can get upto Brissy one year 🤘🤘 So insane to have watched the channel grow so fast and so well from your early days. EPIC WORK
I’m so disappointed that both you guys and Tyler Thomson were at the show. I did not see any ads about you guys appearing. Hopefully see you soon in person somewhere.
I should have added that if I knew you guys were at the show I would have made the effort to brave the crap weather , even though Sunday eventually turned out to be ok but it was too late by then to change my plans.
Honestly guys, you lads put out the best content, keeping 4x4ing in the realms of reality for most people out there. Avoiding these computerised monstrosities that will get more people into trouble than out of it. Your trips and advice are perfect for those with the willingness to give it a try, you give them the confidence to do some good basic maintenance and repairs to their own vehicles so they know how much they can push themselves and their vehicles. Great job lads, keep up the awesome content and don't get swayed by sponsorship $$$$!
Boys as an older bloke love your channel. I like that you're not trying to be experts at something that frankly takes years of experience but you're learning and sharing it with us. Also glad you had a great 1st show. Myself I found it pretty underwhelming but I doubt the show organisers will feed much negative back (and I know how all this works and glad that is in the past). Knowing it is difficult to attract exhibitors, I reckon there was far too much reliance on UA-camrs to attract the crowd. Sure it's great for viewers and guys like you to connect, but there just wasn't much product to look at, touch, purchase... Pity the organisers don't advise/guide/show you how to get the most out of the 3 days. Because of this you loose a great change to do some awesome stuff. To me a classic fail was the Patriot area. Big semi trailer, camper trailers + 2 sales persons, couple of locked vehicles, merchandising stall and nothing else. That's all I saw over 4-5 passes in 3 hours. That stand should always have 2-3 'stars' at any time and be packed. Would seem it was predominately a Jeep branding and trailer sales exercise. But I do like how you did this video. Pity some of the other channels weren't smart enough to include the general public cars.
Thank you guys for your amazing content, friendly personalities and great laughs. We appreciate the airtime at the Sydney4wdclub stand, hopefully we get some track time now with you guys! 💪🏾👍🏾 Thanks again legends
You guys and Tyler Thompson are my top two favourites. Tyler cause he’s our local 4x4. And you guys for none sponsored 4x4. Except for the Ocam RTT. Enjoy all the episodes. 😎
I am English and been following you for some time now, i have a 2.8TD Gen 2 Pajero LWB, and Delica same engine etc (although rarer manual) No one seems to show older stuff that isnt the normal stuff, like more Pajaro, Delica etc.. What you have and seem to show is what is available all the time down under that no one outside Oz etc knows or recognises. Would love to see like old Isuzu Troopers, i had those, Jackeroo down under? Cool channel.. so much better than the other one, that is all about money, top top end freebies thrown at them.. nothing at all for the prices normal people can afford or those on lower budget and its boring as same old and you can see where its scripted and tweaked at times on their trips. Anyway its raining again today, so not much can do on mine, no garage etc. Improving the Pajero to drive back to Ukraine soon to help more animals and pets.. was sub zero each night when there in March... brrrrrrr now extreme summer heat and storms. Keep your show real.. dont let big freebies and sponsors throw you even though i know that aint easy at times.. cheerio chaps...
FYI, the supercharged TRD hilux’s weren’t an import they were actually built for the Australian market (to rival the V8 sports Utes etc). There were 2000 of them sold and were available to buy from Toyota from 2008-2009. They had a supercharged 4.0L V6, lowered suspension and bigger brakes than the standard hilux’s. Awesome cars, I owned one for about 4 years.
The One show this year I didn't want to miss, but got back a positive COVID Test Result the Thursday before . . . so much I was looking forward to see there. Thanks for the insight . . . he only footage I've seen of the Sydney 4x4 Show, so thanks for making the trip up guys
On that surf you were looking at the Australian ones run a 3L 2.8 Hilux diesel and the Aussie petrol ones run a 3.0L 3vze surf engine that is known to blow head gaskets next to cylinder 5 cause of the exhaust routing
Honestly, so glad I found you guys on You Tube.. you have a great channel giving a no nonsense approach to everything you do. Congratulations on your first 4WD show. Loved the show n shine of the trucks outside segment... Keep it up. 👍👍👍
Just got my sticker boys slapped in on the hilux havnt seen many around Albury mate but I'll change that for ya keep up awesome videos look forward to meeting u one day soon 👍👍
Well done guys Your channel is growing rapidly each week Continue to keep it real and avoid doing what the sponsors tell you to do for as long as possible
Lol Sam keeping it civil with "quite a large UA-cam channel" which ill assume is to prevent said YT channel being a big baby and copyright striking you.
The difference between 4wd247 going through the pits vs these guys was chalk and cheese they killed it with technical knowledge and facts not just showy BS.
Dan's clearly a diesel mechanic if he's never heard of a TRD Hilux. Not that uncommon, and not an import. Of course any 1GRFE powered Lux/Prado/FJ can be (and should be) supercharged.
The best 4wd channel on UA-cam. Absolutely no question. These boys are keeping the 4wd community real.
Thanks mate :)
Totally agree 💯👍🏾
Check out mab innovation 4x4
I love how you guys are so genuine. My favorite 4x4 channel for sure, don't change lads
Thanks Mitch :)
Only 4WD content I'll ever watch. It's actually relatable and I hope you guys preserve that despite all the success that 100% WILL come your way.
Thanks mate , means alot! :)

YOU BOY'S ARE DEFINITELY GOING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH IN YOUR TRAVEL'S. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ☺️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️
Thank you!!
That TRD is my baby. 👌👌👌 they came factory with the supercharger but only about 2000 were made.
Absolutely kicking myself that I couldn't go. You boys are starting to be the inspiration of thousands of younger people like me. keep it up legends.
Thanks for the kind words mate, they mean alot 🙏
Great to see you lads enjoying yourselves. Meeting everyone, looking at all the cars. It was good to finally see some recognition for your channel. Congratulations boys.
Thanks Jon :)
My Sunday morning ritual is Aussie Arvos & Tyler Thompson with a mug of ambition
🙏
Absolutely awesome to meet you guys and cheers for the feature haha

The Triton is easily a smarter way to spend your money if you are buying an IFS dual cab
So glad you guys had a ripper show!! Hope you can get upto Brissy one year 🤘🤘

This Channel is great!
You guys have managed to be unique and bring strong content.
Every episode is awesome! And you guys just keep getting it right.
Thanks Jamie!

ben is a legend! he knows which side his bread is buttered!! lol
my 2 fav channels chatting. AA n TT.
Them Hilux’s were released as a trd HiLux, had a Camry/aurion supercharged engine from factory.
I’m so disappointed that both you guys and Tyler Thomson were at the show. I did not see any ads about you guys appearing. Hopefully see you soon in person somewhere.
How good was the Sydney 4wd show
Great to meet you fellas
I was impressed by Dan's vast knowledge of things 👌
It was an honour to meet you guys hopefully I can catch you guys at the next Sydney 4wd show in eastern creek
Love it man!! Great to see you at your first show
Was great having a chat and thanks for checking out some of the rigs boys, gotta hit some tracks next time you’re up this way 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks Sam! Definitely!! 🙏

One of my favorite 4wd channels
Keep up the good work lads
N70 hilux’s were available in a TRD 4L supercharged V6’s, just rarely ever seen.
Rarely ever seen because they were limited edition. Only about 2000 ever made. The one in this video is my car
@@bigr3dlux very nice Hilux, Goes Hard 🚙💨.

Love Sam so went 4wding with a massive UA-cam channel can't half tell there is tension there hahahaha but his a legend just like yous
Why hasn’t he been on 4wd247
@@david-johnfletcher1100 cause his a separate channel to them I think they do great with outbhaving to get involved with 4wd 24/7

Love that 500HP Supercharged Ram 1500 - But then i could be a big Bias....... Great Vid Guys!
Great to see that show. Surely there were some good Land Rovers there you must have forgotten to show us 😀🍻🔥🇦🇺. Always enjoy your videos
Thanks for the walk around, awesome episode. Hope to see you all at the Brisbane show next year
Honestly, so glad I found you guys on You Tube.. you have a great channel giving a no nonsense approach to everything you do. Congratulations on your first 4WD show. Loved the show n shine of the trucks outside segment... Keep it up. 👍👍👍

Sounded like a lot of fun for you guys!! Btw that TRD Hilux came from factory with the supercharger, same engine as the TRD Aurion at the time 👍
That's my car 👌 you got it right. Came factory with the supercharger
@@bigr3dlux tuff car 👍👍
@JP that's right, hil7x had the 4.0 version??
Keep up the awesome work boys will see ya in Melbourne
Great video! Look forward to seeing you next year.
Cheers lads, I couldn’t get there so this was awesome!
The trition is probably the best bang for buck , and underrated vehicle. I'd take a triton over a gutless hilux anyday
great video guys :) cant wait to see some more content of your trips :)
Tyler Thompson is like a friendly 4x4 sasquatch
Good job young fellas 🤙👍👍
Definitely need to bring your cars out for a wheel.. see you guys out there 👍🏾
Best 4WD informative channel on UA-cam 💪🏾
100% need to organise something next time we are up there!! 🙏 Thanks again guys! 🤙
Don’t change boys, you’re a great pack.👍🇦🇺
Thanks mate :)
Hope all went well boys
You made it boys. Awesome you deserve to be there.
Very cool!!
You guys have missed your calling, great commentary, should do a program called Low Range, the new top gear.
Can't wait for you blokes to hit up the melbourne show!
Excited! Home town!
Some serious &&&& there, great stuff 👍👍👍
Geeeeeeez 👑👑
Wouldn’t rate the challengers much but my first car was the 3.5ltr paj so guess it’s what you can make of it
Amazing!
@04:44 "a few little scratches" man looks like an old wok
good to see it getting used for what he put it together for!
Nice video! As much as I hate Triton's that monster Triton is insane!!!
Dan's clearly a diesel mechanic if he's never heard of a TRD Hilux. Not that uncommon, and not an import. Of course any 1GRFE powered Lux/Prado/FJ can be (and should be) supercharged.
Man think i going to melbourne show just to meet yas eh been watching u guys for forever
Absolutely love it ! Would love to go
Now im not sure I caught it…was this your first show? I know you briefly mentioned it 1000 times but i missed it
Does he drive an 80 series?
Loved it, one day I’ll get to a show
I wonder what inline 6cyl petrol engine Sam will go with...
: Turbo Barra
: Turbo TB48
: Turbo 1FZ
just to let you know with the trd on the hilux that is the way they came from factory built as a “hilux trd v6” only few thousand made i believe
Thanks Connor!
Yeah only ever about 2000 ever made. That's my car in this video
Its just a supercharged 1gr-fe v6 dan.
where are the Landrovers????
