What decks did I miss?
Think you missed Dinomorphia. Prop one of the better trap based deck out rn. Don't care about a lot of the meta because of rextrum

God literally just a consistent way to stop Nib and Goblin Bikers is a good strategy
So, the deck is not just UDF pass, that’s a completely dumb line too, that takes up waaaay too much Extra Deck space, the standard end board I’ve gotten is Big Gabonga, Dark Knight Lancer and I:P with a set Full Armoured Xyz, this threatens a lot since Goblin Biker’s Clatter Sploder itself is an interaction in the GY, detach from a monster on the field and now your Big Gabonga can schlorp up one of your opponent’s monsters, then Clatter revives either Dugg Charger or Mean Merciless, then you either add a spell or summon Dugg Charger from hand with Mean Merciless, from there you can Full Armoured Xyz into either Cicada King or Ashura King, your Full Armoured Xyz in the GY makes one of your monsters gain 2500 and become untargettable whilst also allowing Dark Knight Lancer to schlorp another monster without targeting, Ashura King and Cicada King are both monster negates and I:P still makes S:P, but instead you can make an indestructible 4 Mat Apollousa with the 2 schlorp to back it up
But that’s not even everything, Terrortop to 3 gives us 6 1-card combos, you can play like 10 Ghost Girl handtraps since they’re all 2 card starters, and drawing Terrortop with another Rank 3 Access gives you your Nibiru Protection in Bamboozling Gossip Shadow, and since you’re drawing cards with Gossip Shadow and Xyz Armour Torpedo, you also get more chances to draw into handtraps
The deck isn’t perfect, it’s not meta, but it’s highly underrated and seriously fun to play, JUST DONT PLAY 3 GRAND ENTRANCE, THAT CARD SUCKS TO DRAW
I’m playing the SHS version with Sargas and I love it. I bought Grand Entrance 3x when just released and now I play only 1. You are right about that card (unfortunately)
I've been thinking about goblin bikers. I agree that the spell isn't really needed, and you can actually use it as a semi bricky engine. I'm trying to adjust ratios, but wanting to add it to my PK ba adventure horus deck. Basically it's super easy to get a rank 3, so you make gobonga get dugg, get entrance, get another goblin, and have mats for another rank 3.
my final board for me is dark knight lancer F0 draco utopique and evolzar and cicada or number 75 on my opponent turn with 12 spot for hand traps
Hey Cali I got a Vaal list after theorycrafting the deck for several days, give it a whirl it might take time but once you figure out how to best order your spells it'll finally become clear how clean this deck is to play in practice despite having what seems to be clunky mechanics.
IMO it should be in "takes a good pilot" at the very least as it well literally requires a good pilot to play but it really lives up to the "takes a good pilot".

Two things to add. One heroes is actually pretty insane. This format. Has a lot of tools to help fight all strategies including tenpai. Also gold pride punk has an insane end board. Problem is it does take a good pilot and deck builder. Plus it's more of a going first deck, going. Second, it really struggles against multiple interruptions. Your best bet is to go PEP going second

No it is not no matter how much people try pushing heroes it cannot compete against modern meta decks
@@jorgetagle3778than play against a spell lock shifter and pop3. Or skill drain shifter and pop3. I played many times against it and you can easily lose against hero.
Ghoti is one of those "You need to know the deck" type of decks. One of my friends who I taught I deck went to Raleigh got all the way to Day 2, and only lost because her opponent stalled for time by doing the Zelantis combo turn 1 with time approaching. So they tied.
IMO Ghoti is a real sleeper. It plays around a lot of stuff.

I mean just getting to day to means tier 3 or lowers. tier 2 is usually top cut decks, tier 1 is event winners or runneruips CONSISTENTLY, not a single hero. so yeah, if your reference is your friend making it just to day 2, is probably a tier 3-rogue deck
I’ve been playing Voiceless Voice since its release. I think it’s very good however if you get hit with a hand trap or some sort of disruption without any follow up or extender, you’re kind of SOL. Also, it’s play lines are somewhat linear. however you can mix it with some other strategies which gives it more opportunity for success.

Raika is an insane addition to the Plant Pile, the only link you need is the 2, even though that keeps you from bringing out Regulus

ashened at its best is a nice rouge when played by a good pilot, i can tell it because i play that deck since it came out and it can really have good match ups against the meta but is not an easy to drive deck, in my case i play ir with a small volcanic engine and it have a lot of sinergy and consistency in this format it can even drop colossus
Same, I want it to be up there so bad. Hopefully with the next wave of support after LEDE, Konami makes it a reality.

I’ve been playing ancient gears with the new stuff and I can’t lie, I think it’s actually on takes a good pilot. The deck is like tenpai at home- but that deck is already more accessible than most so there’s a real argument to just play that instead of this.
HOWEVER making a 6-8 negate turn 1 board can be interesting and skill checks a lot of players in timing and chain blocking-
and of course beeg unga bunga damage swing for 5000 three times piercing can’t activate spell and traps until end of damage step same old same old nonsense-it sounds memey to say with the right scenarios this deck pops off, but the avenue for you to make these plays are a lot wider than what it was before and I think that’s worth going into
I know Burning Abyss Hand, Trap build ,is @ least a decent Rouge deck if you would Cali please do a deck profile on it and show off it's potential to straight dominate!!

As a eldensoulsborne veteran I am playing ashened, I am used to being outmatched and finding a way to win.
Goblin biker does have nib protection. It also makes way more them udf. It makes a towers, udf, a negate, and a a steal your spell plus hand traps. Some of these I feel like you missed the boat on my man.
Goblin Biker goes into Number 75 by summon 3, so yes it has Nib protection
that and with the new Goblin with 3 Mats field, Goblins can attack directly. Draco Future isn't the only Boss in deck, there's also Dark Knight Lancer and possibly Ashura King, on top of Big Gabonga. AND Dark Knight can non-target EAT a monster on field when things are equipped.

Imo melodious will be a good deck but itll shine the best when used as an engine. 8 main deck slots and 3 extra deck slots gives you enough bodies to go into any rank 4 and rank 2-3 with one card from hand. It raises the ceiling to broken levels in voiceless without using a normal summon or locking you into anything.
I have been trying bunch of engines with swordsoul to push past the basic end boards and so far Horus engine is been best to fit in because of the recursion

I think thats part of Yugiohs problem. They don't print enough good quality monsters like Mirrorjade that can win you the game by itself but have drawbacks such as destruction protection being fairly common. If we had more boss monsters like this to pair with other interruptions that isn't as generic as Baronne people would be less incentivized to rely solely on negates. If we had more cards this good that could severely punish our opponents for removing and have a interruption on top of it the game would be less about stopping your opponent and more about resources and mind games. You get some of that with pure Fire King it has negates if you need them. But Garunix Eternity is your main card. It can wipe the board and punish your opponent by giving you follow up when its removed. Eternity is easily countered by cards like Dragoon, Branded Opening, and Riciela, Wicked of the White Woods. The only weakness Garunix Eternity has is because it only does what it does and doesn't have something like a quick effect banish like Mirrorjade does to give it a more guaranteed value as a end board piece.
Yeah people are gassing up the Diabelle monster for Chimera but the biggest thing is the consistency bump from Nightmare Apprentice
Ancient Gears are just one good interruption fusion monster away from being tier 2 at least imo. Feels like they have all these amazing consistency cards and 1 card combos thanks to the new support and esp the new card in animation chronicle, just unfortunately no going first AG boss monster or an in archetype board breaker quick play.

From what I seen Yubel and the Fiendsmith Cards are insane together and the combos with they are wild.
@KaullorFist it's like Yubel already extends its own starters with LEDE even more, but the synergy just gets wild with those fiendsmith cards. I think the deck right now is crazy good. Hoping we get Phantom of Yubel in the next Battles of Legends set in June... love this deck 😄

She's hard slept on, is the weakness to seemingly unkillable cards dominating the meta, and can double as an E-Tele Tuner for your Synchro plays! 😎 For example, if your opponent drops App as their fifth Summon to stop you from dropping Nib, you can force Nib through by chaining Ogre to App's negate!

Nah I'd say limit Fountain because it makes a lot of older decks better and I think the real problem with Runick comes from its draw 3 not being fragile enough and stun decks using Runick for evil.

Raika is so underrated right now, no one understands how strong the end board can be. Setting up 5 pops, a bounce, and an omni with insane follow up is still so good. The only issue is nib which can only hurt the deck when timed very well.
I totally agree, and I feel like although it's not a great solo deck, it is the best way to allow underrepresented decks to shine, like they did with fire king and snake eye. Plus the support in INFO gives it a draw 3
I feel like it’s best with naturia. You get your beast first then the setup. Plus if they activate a monster effect at all you can prevent hand monster effects with one of the links

I honestly don't know if it could. What interruptions does it put up? If I'm not mistaken, it just craps out ultimate falcon and passes, right? Maybe it goes into a rebellion line but I don't think either is enough to compete rn
@@titanteck6580 Rising Rebellion Falcon is a complete boardwipe that burns, they have the trap that negates and can summon the Evilswarm(?) rank 4 that books. And the field is mostly towers with 4k or more attack. The problem with the deck is it can't play through everything it needs to I guess

Ancient gears aren't cooked they can compete because destrudo and jet syncron are still in the game so they can still make a decent board with rank 8 negates and therion king regulas and crystal wing and don't forget about Ancient gear fortress that card is cracked

Tenpai is very good but after testing with it a bit I think people are over reacting for now. Its very much a silver bullet deck, it loses to the most random things, for example, trap tricks randomly craps all over the deck. Its definitely tier 1 but it acts as a sort of "anti combo" deck. Its very punishing against combo decks with multiple handtraps but midrange and control decks have an easier time quelling the onslaught due to floating better. Just my initial opinion and probably a bad take due to only playing the deck for 2 days.
