So sorry I missed you on the 16th for the Greenlake fire! But we were in a stage 3 evac here in Steilacoom when our beloved Fort Stilly caught fire .
Was great to see the Angels!! We had the Thunderbirds at the JBLM WWII show, but I still miss the Angels 😂
As always, great video! We've been really lucky the winds have been fairly calm during these encampment fires. Stay safe my friend!

Oh scary, were any homes affected by that fire? I agree, the Angels are always fun to see - I'll have to make the trek to see them in person again one of these years. Thanks for watching!

@@SeattleTrafficCams Fortunately no structures were damaged! We had 4 districts plus the Air Force from JBLM and the DNR brought in a crew of firefighters and 2 aircraft for water drops. They stopped the fire for us literally on the other side of the street but up in the back neighborhood behind Pierce college it got within just feet of a couple homes and 1 lost a shed. All the agency's did an amazing job, I wish I could have gotten in to film some! I would have figured away to send you the footage cuz those firefighters needed a shout out across the board.

@@cyndisherry7547 Wow, that sounds like it got way too close - so glad that no structures were damaged! I definitely agree - our firefighting agencies are amazing!

Really enjoying your videos. I’ve been impressed with the Minnesota dot cam videos and think you can make it the same level!

The parade music you used to accompany Kamala Harris's motorcade was charming!

I'm glad you liked it! I feel like the music is always hit and miss, so I'm glad not everyone hates it 😀

DOTs world over struggle to configure the cameras with the appropriate data compression settings and always try to go too aggressive.

It's a shame the mess that has migrated to North Aurora. I hope Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery is keeping a lid on it. A nice ending with the Syttende Mai (17th May) parade in Ballard. Norway Constitution Day!

Yeah, it seems to migrate up and down Aurora. I always like getting parades on camera (and I saw the Syttende Mai in person this year!). Thanks for watching!

It is too bad that you have to deal with traffic. They should have close the street off.

Amazing how our government can take care of people from other countries but can’t take care of our homeless and the veterans that served there country.

Yeah, such a waste of resources. All that for a person, disrupting citizens and business. Would rather have that money being used for other things.

@davidglaum2538 I’m sorry to tell you this and this will shock you and you really should do your research before speaking, but you need to look up homeless people in other countries. Almost every country does have millions or more of homeless people. Where did you get your proof that those other countries really take care of their homeless people? In Pakistan, there’s 8 million homeless people, in all of Europe, homeless has risen to over a million people, parts of Europe isn’t that big. Central and South America, several million people are homeless, India, almost 2 million people are homeless, and in China, Ethiopia. I shake my head and even laugh when people make comments with no truth, no proof, and they never have done any research of any kind. But also, have you forgotten that there are people in every single state that do care for the homeless? And in late January 2024, $3.16 Billion to fund several thousand housing and service projects. There are shelters for men, women and families, soup kitchen that churches or independent companies started for their community to feed the homeless. There’s free medical help, total strangers go around to encampments and donate water, food, bedding, clothing, socks, coats, and personal toiletries, too. It’s too bad you forgot about that. So, how much have you helped the homeless? Lol 😂

@@dunsmuir238Not true. You need to do your research about how American government has helped the homeless. It’s also up to the homeless people to want help or a better life and a lot of them don’t. There are shelters, places that donate a lot to people who are homeless. Soup kitchens, and the government has given over 3 billion dollars for housing. I see apartment buildings being built all over the cities I travel to for the homeless. Also, in almost every country, there are several million homeless people that have it a hundred times worse than in America and Canada, England and Australia, parts of Europe. That’s why we call some countries, Third world countries, and because their politicians are very corrupt and take any money donations into their own pockets. It’s a shame that you actually think the government doesn’t do anything for the homeless, most of them don’t want help and rather stay homeless, do drugs, steal and wait for the next person to give them free stuff. Tell, us how much you have helped the homeless? lol
