I worked in the woods in the Klamath River country in the early 60's. Logs were a lot bigger then and that tower would have been right at home. We were logging all Cat shows, but there were some tower sales here and there. I grew up in NW Oregon in a small mill town. All of their logging was still done with spar trees if it was too steep for tractors. Much of that timber was from the Tillamook burns, they ran out of timber about 1958 and tore the mill down.

Josh, I like the drone footage and you get some nice angles. Get some trucks coming and going if you get a chance, I know its hard down in the brush but it little bit easier with the drone.
You must only log old growth? I’ve seen your comments several times about the size of wood, if we could barely get a log out of it we wouldn’t be on this unit. We’re not out here wasting our time.

Looks like burnt second growth, like they say, you gotta play the cards you were dealt, certainly big enough machine for the wood 😂
