I don't have a problem with most of what Rory was saying. The chances of UCL were extremely remote, i.e, win Sun & Villa lose. And the team doesn't have a squad currently to compete successfully in UCL. UEL is the team's level for now. And the performances have been absolutely abject for the last 2 mo's. UCL was lost weeks ago. Ange/the team own those performances/results.

I'm a Spurs fan and I do not want Arsenal to win the league, the facts is that EVERY GAME, even if there is nothing to play for I would always would want my team to win. HOWEVER, the game against city, was a once in a blue moon situation that we might not see a scenario again, I hate Arsenal, and for them to win the title, is one thing, and for us to basically give it to them by beating Man City, is just unforgivable. With all that I thought the team were professional and played well. But the facts are that we should have wrapped up 4th spot weeks ago.

I don't always agree with Rory but here he is spot on. I'm a huge Fan of my Team ( Grasshoppers Zürich ) and went to away games for 30 years. We are swiss record champions so by no means "Spursy" but i honestly might take relegation over seing FC Zürich win the title, let alone getting into Europe. I just asked my one fc zürich fan friend and he agreed if it was reversed.

Rory Jennings is not making use of his brain here. The issue is not the loss in the previous two games even if they were derbies. The issue is that the home crowd and the home stadium of a team is meant to be like the 12th man on the pitch. Your home crowd is meant to give you a psychological advantage. If I dare say: A spiritual advantage. But that was missing because Tottenham fans were more concerned with Arsenal's success or failure. Making Arsenal fail was more important to Tottenham fans that they abandoned their role as the psychological and spiritual bulwark of their own team. At their home ground Tottenham FC did not have a 12th man. They did not have home advantage because they preferred to spite their nearest rival. That is a shameful thing. It is a pathetic thing.
