Literally every girl is crazy over him now lol... like has he seen tiktok? Oh wait he hates tiktok lol - he said it the one time he actually logged onto twitter lol (fans know)
You can see Timothée’s thoughts all over his face. Like his brain is producing words at a much faster rate than he is capable of actually saying; his mouth is fumbling to keep up with his thoughts. As though he starts to say something, and as he is saying it his brain has moved onto the next thought & so he rushes to say it so he can move onto the next thing, and the cycle just continues. So intelligent and so self aware.
@Adi Adrian. Timothee Chalamet is in two of this year's most acclaimed films with a very strong possibility of being nominated for Oscar's Best Actor. If that is average, I don't know what is good.
the fact that timothee seems so star-struck by other celebrities and seemingly unaware that he is one himself is so refreshing and adorable lol. he’s like this ultimate film fanatic who somehow winded up in an interview have a feeling he’ll stay genuine and humble throughout his days :)
There is this one shot in the Black Mirror episode that I keep thinking about-it’s when he’s talking to the girl and the godawful porn ads start playing on the screen behind him. He is trying to skip the ads while pretending not to notice. He keeps his face almost completely still but despite this he emotes the hell out of that scene. It’s amazing.

It's definitely very British. I studied film there for a bit and was also told to read screenplays as part of my training. Daniel's humble about it though

He has improved and loosened up a bit as the Call Me By Your Name train has sped through the weeks. Btw, recognized Daniel. Havent seen Get Out, but remembered him from Skins.
I think he’s way more comfortable talking about someone else. Seems like he’s going to spontaneously combust if there’s to much attention on him at one time. It’s funny that some actors can perform on stage in front of audience just fine, but freak out when having to be themselves. I’m struck by how different his personality is from the two characters be played this year (Elio and Kyle).
these variety actors on actors interviews are engaging because they feel more casual, intimate and show professionals engaging with each other. in this particular interview, i feel the pressure to have to speak&present in a certain formal way was alleviated since daniel (posh kenneth!) and timothee are only 6 years apart; so they instantly relax and just enjoy asking questions and chatting; the result being some really good discussion around film-making and acting.
Can we please get a 5 years later of this same pairing? I would love to see them chat again with everything that has happened in their careers since this.
The lighting on Daniel!!!!! Come on y'all. Smh. How can the lead actor from one of the most successful films of 2017 have bad lighting? He is a beautiful brother & he deserves the proper lighting.
@@Khloe_dancer_model No, there are ways to light black people that will compliment our skin and let us be visible without increasing shine. A skilled crew would know how to. And yes he looked great but he could have looked better if the lighting was suitable.

Yeah, they're both talented---Chalamet comes off as so surprisingly grounded for someone so young and being in the business, and it's cool how he's giving Kaluuya his props---it's always nice to see two upcoming actors who have finally arrived in the biz, so to speak.
Forgot to mention---Chalamet is really cute, but what's refreshing is that he dosen't give off that "Yeah, I'm so hot" type of vibe--he just comes off so down to earth, which is good.
yo when i read comments like this it just makes me love our generation more and more. fuck the people who don't understand us, we understand each other. we're here for each other.
What an amazing cast that was in the original series of Skins. Nicholas Hoult, Joe Dempsie, Kaya Scodelario, Hannah Murray, Dev Patel and Daniel Kaluuya himself.
This was so beautiful. Not gonna lie, I've watched a plethora of Timmy's interviews and he usually feels the need to be self deprecating due to a self imposed duty of humble necessity. (Still charming, but there's always a tinge of self-doubt.) In this interview he got to have an honest chat with someone who has a similar acting story/passion to him. Also, the fact that Daniel Kaluuya wrote and acted in UK Skins blew my mind!!!!! That show was an integral part to being an adolescent. Anyway, what I am trying to get at: I love the way Daniel depicted his view of approaching projects - don't stress about hollywood, notoriety, shallow factors (i.e. blockbusters) but just act in a role, IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL SOMETHING. The way Timmy lit up when Daniel expressed that was so pure. Clearly, he shares the same viewpoint, but has been swayed in opposing directions. The way Daniel reaffirmed his belief and their natural support of each other's work/journey's to their current places was magical.
Look how completely lax these two are in their seats lol, they're mad comfortable in each others company. Two young lads about to rise in this industry.
Both these young men deserve Oscar nominations. Timothee so convincingly transforms himself into the character he plays in CMBYN that I was taken aback at how different he is here - and he doesn't do it with heavy makeup or hammy mannerisms. He's very subtle. Daniel also transforms himself in Get Out. I love to see actors who can actually do that.
Daniel Kaluuya, wow, super mind, emotional intelligence and brilliance , great convo both, Timothee honest and sweet, what a wonderful, brotherly conversation.
This one actually felt like one of the more authentic and respectful actor on actor conversations. Nobody talking over each other, genuine, active listening and real interest. Nice.
I feel like Timothée could be a multi-threat. He is already a amazing actor, he is so intelligent that I think he would be a amazing writer, and would probably make a amazing director with enough on-set experience.
i just discovered timothee and im sitting here smiling at my screen like an idiot someone send help...or send him lmao he's just my type and has such a cute, wholesome attitude
Charles Greenwald You never know. "Get Out" is a major contender for Best Picture right now and Best Actor - outside of Chalamet, Oldman and Day-Lewis - is pretty up in the air. Franco will probably be safe but then you have Kaluuya, Hanks, Pattinson and Gyllenhaal. Kaluuya has the advantage of being in the film most likely to be Picture nominated with "Call Me By Your Name" and "Dunkirk" and being a crucial element of "Get Out" being so effective.
Great point man. It's a real tossup. I just figured he wouldnt get it because I feel like so many people think/say the "star" of the film is Peele, for his incredibly creative script and direction. However, if you're right, my friend, I'll circle back to this exact thread, and tip my proverbial cap to you! :)
I love that Daniel just wants to make movies for his friends and mom. He seems really grounded. I hope Timothee stays as genuine and warm as he is now. I haven’t seen Call Me By Your Name, but Get Out was cinematic gold. Daniel was amazing in it. BLACK PANTHERRRRRRRRR. I CANNOT WAIT.

Have a cinematic crush on Timothee Chalamet
"Of course it works Luca, Were u never teenager"😂😂😂😂
Look how completely lax these two are in their seats lol, they're mad comfortable in each others company. Two young lads about to rise in this industry.
FranSlam too true, wish them all the success
Daniel is real I love his humble heart ❤
The energy in this episode was amazing. These two need to be in a film together!
I love to see actors who can actually do that.
sdl1ishappy exactly what u said!!!
Daniel Kaluuya is amazing
I am just a book nerd bibliophile and i was so proud to have and read and reread quentin tarantinos pulp fiction script when it came out. Yay Daniel
this was the best one so far
i agree. nothing seemed forced
I loved how chill everything was and how they were both giving props to each other. I could of easily listened to another 30 mins.
Timothée and Daniel ❤️, so excited for their future projects!
Daniel Kaluuya, wow, super mind, emotional intelligence and brilliance , great convo both, Timothee honest and sweet, what a wonderful, brotherly conversation.
They both are so handsome I AM SCREAMING
Timothee really cant sit still .
He's nervous
He’s not used to interviews because he’s new to being famous.
The surgeon fell in love with me well the time u said this, he is well famous now 7.2million on insta 😳
Nyasia Fagan hah
im sure you would be too if u were having a conversation with another big actor. Hes new to being famous so give him a break.
This one actually felt like one of the more authentic and respectful actor on actor conversations. Nobody talking over each other, genuine, active listening and real interest. Nice.
@Tash21 compared to the other ones he’s not at all tbh. A lot of them interrupt each other every 10 seconds
2017: no one recognize me
2020: timothee ON THE SPOTLIGHT
The two best young actors out right now! Such a refreshing conversation... all the other actors on actors have been so dull.
strongly disagree
the way they didn't properly light or color correct Daniel in this video is so egregious
These two feel like two of my friends who got famous I rarely get that feeling with most actors
Bertha Lovejoy same 😂
Bertha Lovejoy- Agreed!
Bertha Lovejoy he is so special.
I feel you ! Damn how could I know him this late!!!!!! Shame on me
@PurelyAfrican but hes sweet
Daniel is the definition of swag.
Look at these KINGS!
Thomas clueso Huebner Go fuck yourself.
Ftmla what did I say?
Thomas clueso Huebner Why would you call Daniel a slave?
That was rude. Unless I was mistaken about who you were referring to. I am just sick and tired of the racial remarks on UA-cam!
Ftmla so if I am referring to the African guys it's racist, but if I'm referring to white man it's not? Why is that?
Still patiently waiting for them to collab
Kaluuya was mesmerizing in Get Out, hit every note.... of course wont get an Oscar nom but to me, deserved one!
Will C nah
Charles Greenwald exactly he neeeeds an oscar
Charles Greenwald he probably won’t but Get Out HAS to get a nom for original screenplay or I’ll kill someone
TWO OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN ONE VIDEO. THANK YOU, UNIVERSE!
simpleplanfan011 two favourite upcoming actors of the year
Wow, I FELT what Daniel was saying when talking about suppressing emotions towards the end, I’m so glad timmy asked that question.
