- No BS, Just Fishing Vol 10: Spring fishing is finally here! Started the morning off in residential canals connecting with some speckled sea trout. Later in the afternoon we moved into some crazy shallow back waters and we were able to put a redfish and a snook on the boat. I was pretty content with the day but in the 12th hour I picked up the NLBN and caught my biggest fish of the year!

How big was it? It looked like a linebacker!
He was a decent one for sure! I’m guessing about 3 - 3.5 lbs. Not the biggest I’ve caught but I’ve been able to find two of those size fish this year already which is encouraging. Do you fish for trout at all?

That’s awesome! You’ve got some great areas to explore up there. Ive looked at those tidal river systems quite a bit. They look pretty sick just a little bit of a haul for me. I don’t know if you’re apart of salt strong but it maybe worth getting for a year. Their weekend game plans helped me a lot when I moved down a couple of years ago especially since I came from fishing fresh water.
