      Nice drills and solid forehand. The biggest "problem" is that your elbow in the moment of hitting the ball is almost touching your body, which means it is too close.

    What do you recomend for Net clearence height? Because I've been looking online and every website has different statistics for how high the pros hit. So what would be a good one for a rally position, attacking, and put away position?

    • @SupremeTennis
      @SupremeTennis  4 роки тому

      Aim for 2-3 times the height of the net. This may vary depending on the type of shot your are going for. The more attacking you are, the lower your net clearance is likely to be.

    Hey Leon, do you have a progression of forehand drills you trust and teach to begin developing an advanced forehand for your students or for yourself?
    This video is about adding power, but Charlie already has a technically sound forehand (great racket head speed, spin, and consistent quality of contact). I have had a very difficult time finding what would be the progressions leading up to Charlie's quality of swing (:
    Love the content!

    I notice he's playing on a red court?? What's the difference between training on the different types of courts?? My local only has a concrete court!!

    • @SupremeTennis
      @SupremeTennis  5 років тому

      This one is actually artificial clay. Softer on the joints and slightly quicker than real clay courts. Great to play on though. Grass courts are the fastest and hard courts can also be relatively fast, but always give a true bounce (well maintained ones anyway 😄). Hope you enjoyed the video 👍

      Ah can’t remember name exactly. I did get it from the ‘audio library’ UA-cam channel and could possibly be in the vlog copyright free playlist. Have a look around, if you don’t find it, I’m sure you will find others that you like!

    Great tips coach! Those courts are awful though. Not sure why they call them artificial clay! Nothing even remotely like clay. Just synthetic grass with sand. Deadly in the wet. I guess it’s a marketing thing to make people think they’re playing on clay. But good tips anyways. Keep em coming.
