Hey everyone! In this video I am making a small side table from solid oak for a friend of mine. He organized the material and plans, I took care of the rest :)
This little project was awesome, because for once it wasn´t ridiculously complicated, but simple and beautiful. Quite a relaxing project with a lovely outcome.

Very good use of wood, it's not always necessary to start with expensive wood. Beauty can be accomplished with craftsmanship alone.
"Definitely need more clamps" is something that can be said of every woodworker. The ideal number of clamps is at least 3 more than the number you have.

Für den Anfang ganz ok. Schmeiß mal deinen 08/15 Bandschleifer in die Mülltonne und mach die richtigen Tischlerarbeiten mit einem Handhobel. Sonst sieht es immer aus wie Amateurarbeit. Und beim verleimen hilft nur eins : Druck, den bekommst du nur mit Zwingen und nicht mit Findlingen hin. Das wird ganz deutlich bei deinen zangen der Werkbank.
Du bist aber auf dem richtigen Weg.

Zustimmung in allen Punkten. Der Schleifer ist bereits von alleine in den Müll marschiert... Die Zwingenfrage muss wirklich noch geklärt werden, ich bin aber noch nicht dazu gekommen.
P.S. Mein heimlicher Traum ist es ein Boot aus Holz zu bauen (so Riva Aquarama Verschnitt), finde es also super, dass mir ein Bootsbauer schreibt ;)
