I trained for many many years in this art and achieved the rank of Punong guro one of my teachers was this man. I can not say enough good things about him and his skills and his spirit. He was a true warrior and an amazing teacher and person. I hold also a 7th dan in combat Jujutsu after 41 years of training and i can say first hand this art blends perfectly with jujutsu techniques. God Bless and RIP Professor thank you for your knowledge and kindness, may you rest eternal in peace.

are you Remy Presas? I obtained your book on Arnis more than 20 years ago- it literally changed my life. By studying your work, I've learned to exert circular and linear, making and breaking cadence effortlessly...it is a most wonderful feeling to experience this; thank you!

I remember finding Remy, via vhs tape, in the mid to late 80's. Has been a strong influence on my training since.

sometimes is is better to break contact and not stand and trade skill. I learned a valuable lesson from a critic of stick fighting. He taught me to let go of the stick.

This is true. If this is to be critiqued, you could see that most of the locks occur because the opponent is gripping onto your arm or to their stick. But that puts you into a big disadvantage as they now have two sticks and you have none. At that point the best option is to run away, unless you feel confident enough in your skill to go hubad vs doble baston.

@@Pearslol I will give a simple counter. Go to 0:36. Instead of a back hang strike to the right chest of the opponent, fake that attack and proceed with a downward or diagonal strike to the head and follow trough to strike the extended left hand of the opponent then follow up with the strike to the right hand of the opponent to disarm the stick.
