If a game has a good formula, why change it drastically? I'm not saying I don't necessarily agree with you, just saying. Look at mega man for example. Exact same formula with different levels and even the new one that came out recently was awesome.

The wait for this game to come out was so bad I kept pouring over any information I could find in a desperate attempt to put the pieces together in my head. I almost died when I learned about Throwback Galaxy's inclusion. Man this definitely makes me feel old.
To me, graphics dont matter, gameplay does it. also.. the more realistic stuff looks, the more uncanny it becomes.. superrealistic characters actuallt look more dead than alive to most people.
yeah I would actually rather look at super mario galaxy than killzone 2. Loving this style, and they also get some great details. most of which you would see in hi-def consoles.
