damn right if the car is falling apart with a dead engine and bodywork missing then why not keep the look alive but give it a new heart if you manage to come across some old body parts you can restore then do it and make alterations to fit eh new engine nothing makes me happier as a car guy than seeing an old car breathing fire and screaming to the gods that its back for one more fucking ride

@@sepg5084 There's a company in the US called JTR, Jags That Run. They sell kits to convert Jags over to Chevy 350 motors. Jags are beautiful cars the mechanics are just so complicated and inconsistent from what I've been told.
That's exactly what I was thinking! The E Types are gorgeous but being a British car the engine isn't reliable. So it only makes sense to drop in a 1JZ.

I mean realistically you dont look up much and as long as he can see the road, signs and traffic lights its not really not much to worry about i expect its more used as a sun visor
It's a decal you get when you enter a drift competition over here in the UK called drift matsuri. It doesn't affect his driving trust me 😂 he's a machine. Drives the absolute shit out of that car!

I was going to call this utter blasphemy going in. Now that I‘ve seen how this man works, the attention to detail in every small part, his mentality on restoring old cars, I can only say, that this is 100% impressive. Building a full car from a rear end and a firewall, and make it look original takes an amount of skill few people posess. The moment I went from 'this is dumb' to 'this is awesome' was when he explained his process around making the wide wheels fit into the E type rear, without ruining the flowing lines. Hats off to this dude!

Chris Brown you are very wrong about this car, the original 4.2L dohc I-6 is a fantastic powerful and bulletproof motor even with carburetors

If you look at the "E-Type" before they began the project - the result is perfect - i love the way the rear fenders were made....
