omg.....I......I....I am so happy. this is just what gaming needed. i cant remember the last time i played a game and thought, "man, that was just pure fun" since the original xbox. i got into playing all the cods and other games like that and they had fun moments but it was NOTHING like this. this is total nostalgia for me and i hope this revives "fun gaming"
Mac, Elise and Kaori are the only 3 characters they've announced so far. There's at least 7 more to come according to the Comics on the SSX Facebook page.
@BlazinBlood there probably is, they mentioned that they didn't want to reveal any other characters for now, but over the months until the realese or something :)
Hmmmm...with online I'll be waiting to get DEEP in the competition. Tracks seem quite diverse, but an option for a unified starting point seems wise. Better to have a safe way to go about it competitively than not.

@AJandtheArgonot They haven't revealed other characters for the game yet... that is why they showed the race with only 3 total. I'd also guess they haven't finished modeling all the characters yet, the game has months to go before its finished.
it would be nice if it was kinect ready and you also can make up ur own tricks as well as talk,and pose on the kinect sensor, while during a high air trick...just a thought....
@R3allyBored But since the game is having Online, I'm sure alot of people are gonna bitch about people knocking them down. So the different Starting points for every player is for the most part a good thing.
I was looking forward to an SSX game that was slightly more realistic than all the others, maybe incorporating actual events in the ski/snowboard world. But of course, we are watching a video of somebody riding down Mount Kilimanjaro. And why there is no skiing in this game is beyond me. Way to go SSX
One thing I hope they do is make the AI's DIFFICULT. As in, Very Difficult. That seemed to be a problem for many previous games: the AI's are too easy to beat. No challenge. *Wink*
arent systems powerful enough to run the whole roster in races? itd feel so live. why not throw every ssx character in it.. probably the last ssx as far as we know

I don't expect you to understand that though. Although video games where meant to "simulate what you can't do..." having some more realistic features to the game would be preferred. I understand if I stand alone on this point though.

Yeah and an arcade is something where u can do all these uber tricks and take huge jumps on small wimp ramps... not possible in real life
