- Check out the Morningstar MC6 Pro! Morningstar Engineering has taken MIDI to the next level with incredibly intelligent MIDI Controller. Packed with new features, firmware, angels, and outputs, the MC6 Pro really invokes professionalism into the MC series. It's amazing to fully have this thing customizable to the individual, and having features like the USB Host makes this controller really stand out. I love that I can know control the Source Audio C4 Synth without any other external hardware! This is how I use the Morningstar MC6 Pro!

Nice! Just got mine a couple weeks ago. Now I just need to get an ML10X and I’m ready for my new all black pedal board build.
Thanks! That’s great, it’s so good. And man that would look killer! The ML10 is a game changer. Thinking about getting one myself
Real nice set up brother❗💯👍👍👍 God bless.
Thanks! You too
Noice, board, tones and licks! New Sub.
Thanks! Means a lot
Soooo good dude 🔥
Thanks man! I am so impressed by this thing. It incredibly intelligent!
For real! I just put one on my board too it's crazy what it can do @@nobesmusic
A little suggestion to expand the range of FX. Make the long press a bank jump to dedicated banks for each pedal.
Yes! That is a great idea, I have been thinking of doing that
@@nobesmusic 👍👍
there are so many ways to use these, it can actually get pretty confusing.
Particularly as you add more ideas.
I've found that once I've implemented a work flow, it pays to repeat it for every similar thing you can.
So in the FX Bank have a return switch and put it in the same spot for each FX Bank.
I use an MC8, I really like the UI of the MC6 though.
I use the 4 Aux switches in the way I've described my FX bank jump, and copied them to every bank as they don't have a screen you just label them.
so you can access your most commonly used banks with one hit in any bank.
@@roscius6204 yea totally! And that is really cool, I’m looking forward to doing full set-lists with this thing that definitely jump into different banks for different parts
Nice demonstration! I have a question: I’d like to put most of my pedals into a rack unit (hidden/behind/beside my amplifier) with the ML5 hooked up to them and have channel selector out front with just a wah and a tuner maybe i.e minimalist approach.
Is this possible?? can the ML5 be wirelessly connected to the switcher out front?? or do you just need a lengthy cable? Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you!
Thanks for watching! And yea you can do it wireless with a third party wireless Bluetooth system. I’d suggest checking out CME!
Sick! How do you program the value on the pedals? Do you set the knobs and then save on the morningstar? Or does the morningstar have some program which allows you to change it?
Hey! So you can program specific parameters, but I mainly have set presets on each pedal and then recall them via program changes on the MC6 pro!
It looks like you re-did your big board. Are we getting a new rundown of the setup?
I did! And yes I am planning on it! It’s been in construction for a while 😅. So cool that you noticed 🤙🏽
i just got the c4 synth and mc6 as well what cable do you use to connect them?
I got this from Amazon!
3FT Mini USB to USB-C Cable, USB... www.amazon.com/dp/B0BS3S1TG3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I wonder if you could hook a usb c hub so you can use multiple source audio pedals off the one port?
@@onyx1310 I believe Morningstar has a product that does that. You send it into the unit and it has multiple outs for different pedals that require usb hub
concerning the c4 synth, did you use a mini usb to usb c cable ?
You need the Source Audio midi adapter sa168. You’ll still need a short midi male 5 pin to male 5 pin in addition to the adapter because the Morningstar is female, and the adapter is female.
Their older interface is the Neuro Hub.
Hey! I should have specified that. I just used a mini usb to usb c cable I found on Amazon!

Oh yeah. That’ll work too 🤓
But, only for one SA pedal and you’ll have to unplug it to use the Morningstar editor, right?
@@marcf2895 yea just one pedal for the USB host if you do it directly like I did. But you don’t have to unplug! It has a separate usb port to connect to computer. One and is for the computer and the other is for the host!
thanks a lot@@nobesmusic
does it work with Loopy pro?
I’m sure it does! It works with other DAWs like Logic and Abelton
@@nobesmusic Thanks!
@@ad8a432 for sure!
So complicated to program.. I’m discouraged 😢
I know, when you start it’s definitely a learning curve. Almost like learning a language. Once you get it after a few weeks it becomes super useful. Trust me!
Bro chiiiiiiiiillllllll my wife’s on this app
😂 bro this comment’s crazy
@@nobesmusic it’s so freakin funny 😂😂😂
