Suzan Erens has opened my eyes to music so beautiful it makes my eyes fill with tears of happiness. Her rendition of "Don't cry for me Argentina" had me sobbing. I'm not an emotional person, but something about Suzan's delivery and voice reaches depths of my soul never explored before. Thank you Suzan Erens, I am your fan for life.
+Unfuckwithable Theophile Her Over the Rainbow was the one that did me in. I guess the time of year, the loss of the last of three generations of setters at the end of July, and general health have all left me ready to fall apart at a beautiful song. I could not agree with you or identify with you more.
Suzan Erens has a very special quality - here she is singing with a local band after the glory days with Andre Rieu - we miss those images in the past but she has found happiness seemingly in a simpler existence away from the ' glamour ' world.
I love to hear this girl sing, so sweet and effortless, makes you wish she were singing all the favorites you could think of all night over a glass of beer, which would make you sad, but for the sweet voice and pretty face on stage than can somehow lift your spirits though the night is so long and cold.
Absolutely brilliant the best version i have heared not over done but perfectly sung you would think it was recorded in the early 1940s.I wish it could be played like that in my soon to be music hall Regards the good old days ltd
Ok Ed, got your reply, clicked and found your comment. Funny you should mention Vera Lynn because just yesterday I was watching a bunch of Vera Lynn videos as well as Marlene Dietrich. After seeing Suzan perform on those huge stages with the big orchestras, you can see why I thought this might have been an early video of her. Besides, she looks quite young here. Thanks for the reply/comment.
Lale Andersen was the singer, Marlene Dietich sang this song also but the germans considered her a traitor and was not warmly welcomed when she returned to Germany after WW2. Suzan Erens in a great Singer, whatever she does, she knows what she does
I think she is so great. I would love to see her come to Ft. Lauderdale. No one has a voice like her with or without Andre. Yes the glamour is gone but the voice is still here
This is a poetic love Song of a young soldier how it was and how it would or could be again to see his girl friend Lily Marleen. This is not a war marching Song and Lily is not present.
Are you available to sing underneath the arches not the song but beneath the 1935 original st georges ballroom on top of an original air raid shelter as the highlight to a 1940s weekend at hinckley in leicestershire it would be amazing Kind regards George
We really miss you at Andre's concerts! We hear your beautiful voice, but we miss your joyful spirit. What is the chance for you to return to Andre and consider it a pure business transaction? We love you and want to see you re-united with the best of the best!!
Mince! Mitch Mulders ?
Peter, I can’t see where Suzan’s went wrong, it was still a great effort, I agree with you about, June Tabor, she went into It in great depth, what about listening too Ute Lemper, 2013 live singing this song, She was another who “ hit” the ball out of the park, Both June and Ute were “ first class” but Suzan, can’t be left out in the cold, as she has the “feeling” for this song.🤔Stan
wonderful to hear Suzanne that fantastic voice I wish she would be back in the limelight miss good music
It is too bad that so many do not appreciate these songs that once bound the world together! Beautifully done Suzan and accompaniement!
Has a wonderful vintage sound to my ear. Love it!

I did like Over the Rainbow too. Her costume was very appropriate. I hope you get well soon.

You might find it is about two women , Lilli and Marlene, Feel free to correct me if I am wrong
Sorry so late..yes Hans Leip , the wrighter , thought about his two girl friends Lili and Marleen
Kadınlar kahramandir bir savaşı bile bitirebilirler

It sounds Authentic!
Suzan Erens maravilhosa dispensa comentarios
So when it ends the holidays? :-)
What?? Suzan Erens left the band of Andre Rieu?
I waited with her at the Andre Rieu in concert here in Brazil, must be why we saw no
nice
My yesredays comnents went lost..Its only Lili Marleen one women...
Hans Leip who wrote the lyrics had two girl friends Lili and Marleen.
How old is this? Made before she became 'somebody?'
The French Foreign Legion has a version in FRENCH.
Suzen should be doing musicals, she wouldn't be out of place @ broadway..
bealtiful !!!!!!!!
In some places you can find beutifull women, she one of them
How did she end up singing in crap clubs?? Who did she piss off??

Suzan Erens [ THE CREM DEL LA CREM] This is where she belongs on the stages of the World-John
Love Suzan's voice but this is not the song for her. I love this song sung by June Tabor, as it should be sung.

She looks sad. She needs to come to USA and join the Broadway in NYC.
June Tabor explains the origin of the song: ua-cam.com/video/8lWDYeao6D4/v-deo.html
Suzan, please go back to Andre !!
Tan bajo has caido susan!!! no puede ser =(
Hail the truth
She deserves better sound than this.
Terrible its in english not the original hit
