It could be with a *little more work on the artistic part, this game looks like garbage, it looks like a lazy PS2 port on top of that ! I am disappointed if you wonder...
@@paullebleu7079 I'll never understand this fixation on PS2 graphics like it's an insult, if anything PS3 games are the ones that'll look like shit since they were going for realism. Metal Slug 3D for what it is, still looks good, or better than this garbage

Good-ol Metal Slug just like how I remember it:
Clipping, Badly compressed textures, invasive tutorials, grinding, interrupting the flow with cutscenes and conversations, inconsistent attacks, 5 second warnings, enemies dissapearing, slow clumsy death animations, puny insignificant slow moving projectyles
Perfect! 10/10
I share your pain brother, it’s sad when the only metal slug game we have to look forward to is metal slug tactics which isn’t even a side scrolling shooter

Gotta say, between Samurai Shodown, Fatal Fury and now this SNK has certainly shown some love to their other classic non KOF games in the last 5 years. Now all we need is a new World Heroes game and we'll really be in business.
Inkinda get why they're doing away with arcade difficulty. I saw a documentary on the Castlevania series I think. There was a home console aimed at arcade players and the devs thought that arcade players will want a harder game, being more skilled from playing in arcades. But since the home console took away the aspect of coins for credit, the game was picked up by the wrong people who viscerally hated the difficulty level, finding it too hard. And so the game bombed. The devs later said they overestimated the target audience's skill.
If SNK learned from it, they ran the risk that an arcade difficulty game for home consoles will simply bomb. Hence they did away with the one shot kills.
such a good franchise doesn't deserve to be disrespected like this. Looks like a mobile game.

I don't know. Looks kind of boring. The enemies aren't even really firing at you
@@alexk9295- The enemies do attack you. It's just that your character now has a health bar/meter, so it takes multiple hits to kill them, as opposed to just one hit. Also, I'm pretty sure difficulty adjustments can be made in the options menu, to make the game more challenging.
To be honest, I miss the old pixelart without auto aim, this looks pretty silly for a console game
This is because is a port from mobile version, really sadly for a metal slug game

I have metal slug 3 in my ps4 . yes looks blurry and pixeled as hell. But its better than this 😂
looks like fun but i still like the ones from the arcade more, i occasionally jump in on pc and have a blast, im truly happy to see a new game in the franchise and will play it when i get a chance.
I miss the beautiful 2d animations but it looks like they recreated them in 3D with a lot of love and care.

I actually attempted to do a no damage run. Apparently this 1 hit feature you're asking for requires to remove all the upgrade and gear system for it to work

the fact that metal slug 7 is one of my favorites after 5 and 3. it just shows that the old pixel art is still relevant.

Need more graphon, explosion effects and details to be very scarable to see a mobile game on more powerful consoles and PCs.

I definitely play this but what snk needed was a metal slug third person shooter with Metal slug ambience and tropes. That arcades nowadays.

@@firewatch9224 even so some stage used time attack so u need to choose the gun wisely for clearin obstacles ( it aint that simpel 1-2 taps to wipe a bus than a dimwit infantry)

loving the game so far, but I dunno how to attack upwards. there are some sparkly (i'm assuming secrets) that I cannot hit because i am not able to shoot upwards!!
if using manual aim just tilt the shoot button upwards.
You can just tilt the right analog upward, it works on both auto aim and manual aim
What about the Ikari warriors , would love to see Ralph,Leona, and Clark , maybe Heidern too , but I think he wasn’t playable.

Well I can just use the weakest gun (maybe Basic H or maybe not using at all), manual aim, etc. That'll work.
Nice try but they should've tried to be more stylistic with the graphics. Maybe try the HD2D style. Sales are gonna be low for this especially if it's PS5 exclusive

Es un soft launch en Japón lo Ara descargarlo tenés que usar una VPN en Japón ya para jugar no te pide nada
Las misiones muy corto me parece muy facil el juego la barra de salud de los jefes no era necesario
