This is a live performance recorded for Jeff Goldblum's debut album. The "club" is actually Studio A and Studio B at Capitol Studios (they have the ability to open them up to one another to, say, fit an orchestra to record a movie soundtrack). They recreated a club atmosphere because Goldblum has had a residency at an LA supper club since the 1990s (he performs weekly when not filming). Haley and Jeff met for the first time two or three days prior to this. The producer knew of Haley from her work with PMJ.
Another Haley collaboration you might want to check on is her collaboration with jazz trumpeter Irvin Mayfield Jr. Irvin invited her on stage at his jazz club and they did a spontaneous performance of "God Bless the Child" ua-cam.com/video/dvouGjJAEL4/v-deo.html After that performance Irvin and Haley did some concerts together. Here's one of their performances "Haley Reinhart with Irvin Mayfield Jr and NOJO--Come Rain Or Come Shine" ua-cam.com/video/0K2qQCAql3c/v-deo.html
You've seen a bunch of Haley doing Jazz (what she's most known for), pop, country (blue) now you should check out Haley doing some jammin' Classic Rock, covering Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" as a guest vocalist for her buddy, Casey Abrams', band ua-cam.com/video/yRcYo9clsaw/v-deo.html It's one of the reasons Haley was criticised for on Idol, Haley is multi-genre & will do what ever genre she wants to... (another reason why she doesn't sign, a label will try to mold her into and keep her to one genre)
Jeff and Haley also did separate duets with Thomas Dutronc on his Frenchie album. I always wondered if Jeff recommended her to Dutronc. Haley did If You Go Away with Dutronc. I think it’s beautiful.
I don't think Thomas met Haley via Jeff. In an interview I saw back then, Thomas said that Haley was an artist he 'found' on UA-cam, I'd say, like alot of opportunities that opened for Haley after 2015, Thomas most likely heard of Haley via her success w/ PMJ and Creep.

Haley is the real life Jessica Rabbit.
Her mic isn't coming through his stage monitor. He's not really deaf.
