Like the old ones ❤I feel like I should be getting busy checking out cemeteries that are in need of some cleaning up and mowing but I’m too old and disabled thank you for sharing ❤❤
That was a really neat cemetery. There were some unique names on some of the headstones. I noticed an old cedar tree back by Cephus's grave, the last stone your read. I have a battery-operated weed eater that has come in handy more than once when there are sticker weeds in the way. I even take it when I go visit my husband's grave, just in case the lawnmower guy hasn't mowed for a couple of weeks. That way, I can get any grass and weeds taken care of around his grave, even if the rest of the city cemetery is a bit grown up. I was up there today and noticed a baby's grave just a little way from my husband's grave. I hadn't ever noticed it before, it's kind of all by itself, and it's unique because it's just a little 3 sided stone marker, not but a foot long or so. I don't ever remember seeing a little triangle shaped marker like that one before.
Very interesting cemetery. I wonder about all the dates close together in the 1890's. Could have been some sickness going around. I follow a lot of these cemetery videos and in 1896 ther were a lot of deaths. I looked it up and there was yellow fever running rampant in the South.
Great video 😊😊😊

I am so excited! I researched and I am related to Ben Dyer and have relatives buried in this cemetery.
That’s awesome . I told Tim we need to go back and clean it
