Hello Sheila Many thanks for your update on Molly’s condition. She is made of strong stuff is Molly. My great granddaughter arrived on Monday in Albury, Australia. They called her Elise Maree and we all love that name. They are doing well. Keep on telling your stories Sheila. Keeps me going ………xx LorraineRaven
Bamboo needles are more for learners/inexperienced knitters for the very reason the stitches don't slide off the needles so easily, thus making dropped stitches less likely. For experienced knitters they are a bit of a drag.😂 I look forward to that slipped stitch pattern Sheila, it will look really sweet in a baby cardigan. ❤
I agree with you on bamboo needles, the only time I use them is when the yarn is extra slippery or stitches tend to fall off, the ret of the time I use metal ones, usually Knit Pro Zing. The rosewood needles I find much nicer to work with than bamboo.
Afternoon, Sheila…your hair looks nice down. Bingo already . Time flies. Hope Molly Is able to go . Never tried bamboo needles but the stitches tend to fall off the medal. Guess there are pros and cons to both . I’d LOVE to see your fair isle sweaters for KIDS … maybe knit one and you’ll get orders. They sound adorable . Good luck tonight ! ❤xx
Molly Rang me Marilyn she is coming to the bingo, she said put makeup on hide the bruises her hand is the worst but she can still hold the bingo dobber lol..
@@sheilasknittingtipsandothe3191 poor thing-in your post you said she was coming but then I wondered about her bruises , so that’s why I’d hoped she’d confirm. Glad to hear it . Poor woman . ❤️x
New subscriber here from USA. I just found your channel and am enjoying your content. What size silicone beads fit the cables? I want to use that hack! Thanks.
Hi Sheila. I found abd subscribed to your channel thanks to Sophia of knits4u who has mentioned you on her channel a few times. She is very close to hitting her 1000 subscribers but is about 15 - 20 short. She is hoping to reach it before 1st November when she starts her next challenge for Altzheimers which is knitting squares and crocheting them together to make as many lap blankets as possible for her sister's care home. Could you give her a few shout outs on your channel over the next week to see if we can get her up to her target in time? I' m sure she would appreciate it🤗.

Your jumpers nice getting chilly now
If you rub your bamboo needles with wax paper, it helps the yarn slide better along the needles. Hope this helps.

Love your jumper

Be very careful to you and your friends tonight at bingo and I hope you win big!!!!
I used very narrow double sided tape on the cut ends of the cable with my beads Sheila, if that’s of any help. Good luck tonight👍🏻😊
If you get a chance, could you possibly post a link to the silicone stoppers you put on your cables please and thank you
Enjoy your bingo evening Glad to hear that Molly is better xx
