Hi Sheila, I think they want you to put subtitles in English, as they may have trouble with your accent, and we in Britain talk at quite fast, I know that when I talk to people, ( I’m Scottish) so I try and slow down, or they just look at me and don’t understand me 😂😂

Hello 👋 Sheila you deserve a rest from big items. Adult cardigans seem to go on forever I knitted my sisters wedding dress 40 years ago and it took me almost 7 months as much as I was proud. I was glad to see the end of the dress enjoy your night xxx

Quite agree Sheila, you must have time for making your own things, as well as relaxing time for other things. I'm the same, I only do these things when I'm in the mood and that's why I knit only for myself and family, othrwise it becomes a chore rather than a pleasure. Still got a few more rows of the Boneyard Shawl which is a Christmas present and dithering over what to cast on next, maybe another Vortex Shawl if I don't change my mind again. Happy weekend to you. It’s possible auto translate may not work in older videos. I watch a lot of Korean knitting videos and not all will work with auto translate. But I know a few of them have mentioned they are the ones who have to do the translating. Perhaps there’s a tutorial out there that would walk you through how to use subtitles in your videos. I did try with this video and I was able to use auto translate in various languages. Maybe the people need to update the app too.

Hi Sheila, I totally agree about the cold, rain+ wind, here in Wales. In our home, when I was growing up We called our meals breakfast, 7/8am. dinner time 12am/1pm. + tea time 4/5pm. Supper time 8/9pm. I'm already wishing it was summer time.😊😅😂 ❤❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉🎉😊❤❤❤

Your rants are so entertaining although I don't know how you have the patience with all the PC/Printer problems, I'm a real dince when it comes to technology. Have to snile when you keep looking out the window. You remind me of my late Mum, she would sit at her table by the window and say "Oh Mrs B is early going out this morning" .... "Mr C never usually goes to the launderette on wednesdaya" - haha, she was like an eagle, didn't miss much. I've also had my heating on all day these past couple of days, I keep it on 18 and off when I go to bed. Don't rally like it being on so much, it makes my head feel stuffy after a while.

I've done hats in the round. But I find flat knitting is quicker

Sheila, I am one of the new 0:56 subscribers to your channels and it wasn’t just the baby cardigan which made me subscribe. I’m knitting for my new granddaughter and made a mess of the buttonholes. Searched UA-cam and your brilliant tutorials came up. Thank you as the finish is so much better . Most of my knitting is done using double pointed needles but I do use the circular needles as well. The patterns which I use recommend that you change to double pointed needles to avoid that tightness and stretch as you decrease towards the crown. It’s just a matter of ensuring you distribute the stitches so the decrease line remains in the pattern . Currently, knitting berets for the lasses. . Love your videos as I was taught by my granny 60 years ago and I understand your tuition. Thank you

Hi Sheila! If I’m not watching or listening to a podcast, then I’m listening to an audiobook. I get them by using my library card. If you have a library that uses an app to get books for a kindle, they also offer audio books. My favorite this year has been The Thursday Murder Club. It’s set in England and is about a bunch of pensioners who help the police solve murders. It’s absolutely hysterical!

I listen to audible books too when knitting and ironing I pay £7 99 a month to audible and I enjoy it Sheila x

There is a storm warning for this Saturday, Sheila, snow and high winds. Worth checking the forecast. I also read Moonfleet in school, that would have been in the 70s. Many of the classics are well worth reading, or listening to, again. I find them atmospheric in the winter time. You are right. the narrator is important. Take care, ❤

I get my audio books from the library Sheila, my library is in Kent and the selection is large. I also joined Bedfordshire Library, so now I have a vast choice of books to choose from.
