I love your designs. I am learning so much from your videos and can hardly wait to do some of the 3 D effects. Your own nails always look so polished and I like the way your nails match the techniques you are demonstrating, too.
Thank you! One of my fave products to do thicker 3D designs is E.Mi Liquid Stones gel...it's a thick viscosity so it doesn't spread and it can be mixed with any color. Another nice gel for 3D designs I like is Dolce Charm On from Ocean Nail Supply...very thick and it's a no wipe so you can apply chrome over it!
Since finding this video I have watched it so many times! It is all that I can think about! Just incredible. I'd love to see this done in a burgundy with a rose shade for the design and gold micro beads. Truly elegant. Thank you so much for doing this.
You are just awesome. Don't know what to say I swear ' This is just simply " out there" . That's it!!! Am downloading all your videos lot! Can't take it anymore lol
can not tell you how many times i am watching your videos , and just can not get enough, your videos are full of informations , love you, you are talented person , wish you all the best , do not stop or take long time to make new videos
you are awesome😍💅 and i love every single one of your videos. And you always explain everything so good thank you so much, i have learn so much watching your videos. I am a licensed cosmetologist and in school they teach as only how to pass state board and every video of yours has help me a lot. thank you for that. 💖 you are great.
Oh my days these are really special,I'm so glad I've subscribed to you,I came over from Norwegian nails, she said you were fantastic and she's right. Wow I'm super impressed and your explanation is so clear and easy to follow,I'm a beginner of course but I hope to be good one day. I'll look forward to your other tutorials. Tfs Amanda. 💅🏼
Thank you sooo much ! I adore this mani. I just did practising and try to figure out how to do with my non dominant hand🙈first time hand painting and it really is not difficult but on my own hands....well....i ll try🤗
@@tenlittlecanvases you're so welcome! I love every one of your videos! Hope you will post another one soon. I think I went through all your old ones 3 or 4 times now 🥰😊 I need more! 😂
Kim I finally just broke down and got the mosiacs. I've been wanting to try this aspect of your nail art for so long finally I gave up and just committed. I can't wait to see the results. Honestly I truly wish another company would make gels like these in the US. For me the price of the polish itself isn't even bad, after all if I can spend $15USD on a indie polish + shipping this isn't too far off the mark, but the shipping from Canada to the US is really pricey! After watching so many of your videos though I know they will be worth it. This turned out so beautifully - really you did a fantastic job and I love the new shape of your nails!
+Lacquer Lockdown I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Mosaics but I agree about shipping, it is steep. Good thing the paints will last a good long while. There is another brand of similar paints that are distributed from the US, the price per pot is about $14. I get mine from here: shop.gellipop.com/akzentz-gels-gel-play-paints
Fantastic! I can't wait to try this! I'm so glad I found you and I'm going to follow all your social media, you are a treasure for sure! Thank you so much for sharing :)
Those are absolutely perfect! I agree with one of the earlier comments, they remind me of milkglass. Just subscribed, looking forward to watching all your vids.
I just love the way you are always outdoing yourself on your nail art designs! Your videos are so clear and practical, too! I wonder if you could mention the name again of the tool you recommend for picking up crystals and where you purchased it? I couldn't catch the name, and a tool I got, once, perhaps was really aged in storage, because its tip wasn't sticky any more! Thanks again for all your great blog posts and videos--I sure look forward to them!
+Arachne646 Thank you so much! The pick-up tool is called a Magical Pick and I got it from Nail Labo...it's a great tool when it's sticky :D www.naillabostore.com/product-p/017756.htm
BEAUTIFUL!! i just have 2 questions.. #1 the hard gel you are using has to be a LED or UV lamp cured? #2 the gel you are using to glue the caviar beats is the sticky layer one ot is a dry No sticky leyer one? I NEED TO TRY THIS!!
😊😍 thank you sooo much for your reply. You dont know how many times i hv watched this tutorial. This is really the best. And u teach really good. And also ur voice is so soothing. 🙂
Amazing Kim! I had no idea you just poured the caviar beads on then manipulated them into place. for days I've been thinking you placed each one individually.
Am sorry but I have been thinking , how do you do these designs on your own nails by yourself? Unless you are ambidextrous . Cuz I don't know how you can do this on your hard gel or acrylic nails and have them come out looking this perfect and good. Its simply amazing . Cuz those nails don't look like you fixed them on, like stick on nails or something like that so how do you do it?
I 💚💚💚 this!! You are so talented & one of the best nail artist out there. It truly is an art. If you ever get a chance, can you do a design from this dishes from Villeroy & Boch: Authentic Avantgarde Collection? I think you can take it to a whole 'nother level!
Amazing I will definitely try it this design but just a quick question, the micro beads that I've bought smeared, I mean after 3 days the color disappear. Does the recollection beads do the same?
+Sonya Barbeau Hi Sonya...yes they do lose some color... none of the brands of microbeads I have are colorfast, I've yet to find any that are. Even with a thin amount of hard gel over the beads didn't keep the color from fading, it doesn't look bad though, just different. Until they make a glass bead with the color integrated and not coated we'll always have to deal the color rubbing off.
Bravo.....beautiful work as usual :) I do have a question tho...just with regards to the sculpting gel...I don't own either of the Mosaic or the other sculpting Gel that u used so instead of buying both in this instance could I just make my own as u mentioned using a mixture of 'White Brisa gel' (which is extremely thick) & 'white acrylic powder'? Do u think that would suffice??
not sure if I missed you saying it but after you cure the nail with the beads...after the very last step/cure...do you clean a tacky layer or did it not have one?
First Gel's Wedding White and Titanium White are not thick enough...their White Queen would be better if you only wanted to use one product, it's more paste-like.
+Erica Jane (Coat of Mani Colors) Giving the top a little filing to break the topcoat seal will help in soaking off...I usually will hand file down the thicker areas a little more.
Thank you for the info! I always love your designs and you have incredible skill! I'm mostly a regular polish user but have been researching and looking in to using gels and acrylics. Your channel and blog are a huge inspiration and provide great info. :)
Your work is absolutely amazin. I have told all my friends to subscribe to your page. How long has it taken you to get to this stage? I hope you don't Ming me asking Sue xx
+Susan Rathbone Hi Susan...I've been using gel polish for over 4 years and doing the more detailed hand drawn nail art for about 2 years....I practice every chance I get, but it took about a year to get to the point where I'm more and more satisfied with my hand drawn skills. But I'm always wanting to learn more :).
like, who'd thumb dwn ths video??, i mean, i never thumb dwn a vid, & even if i do, tht vid had to have some extremely outlandish content in it for me to even do tht...lol..crazy...if you dnt like a video just keep it movin...lmao people
+Venus X Lol, yeah I agree...It's ok, everyone has their own opinion...I once had someone leave a comment saying I'm ugly even though you only ever see my hands in my videos...I just ignore them.
I bought the Swarovski opals from various online stores that sell by the stone so I was able to get several different sizes and colors for a very reasonable price. Art Beads, Fusion Beads and Fire Mountain Gems are some of the places to buy them.
I love your designs. I am learning so much from your videos and can hardly wait to do some of the 3 D effects. Your own nails always look so polished and I like the way your nails match the techniques you are demonstrating, too.
These are the most beautiful nails I have EVER seen... And I'm a nail tech, nails are my life! Lol
+Chanel Grundy Thank you so much!!
This is a lovely concept and great design. Would you have any updates on the materials--since products have come along a bit since 2015?
Thank you! One of my fave products to do thicker 3D designs is E.Mi Liquid Stones gel...it's a thick viscosity so it doesn't spread and it can be mixed with any color.

Amazing Kim! I had no idea you just poured the caviar beads on then manipulated them into place. for days I've been thinking you placed each one individually.
+Simply Into My NAILS Thanks Tracey...even I don't have that much patience to place them all individually, lol.

Beautiful, just beautiful!!! can you mix the paste with clear builder just to make it runny?
+alicethe great Yes, you can. It will make the paste less opaque but it should be fine.
Thank you for replying, will keep that in mind. May your subscribers keep growing! Xoxo

not sure if I missed you saying it but after you cure the nail with the beads...after the very last step/cure...do you clean a tacky layer or did it not have one?
+Melissa Herrera I used a no-wipe tope coat, so no sticky layer.
I tried this last night. what a mess. Now that I've seen you do this, I will give it another try.
+Kathy Kovacic What was a mess? The gel or the beads?
The gel design. It was interpretation. I covered it with white Shellac instead of top coat. Lol
+Kathy Kovacic Yeah, I experimented before with covering with white but it looked better with the clear.
Super nice
Amazing channel
Thank you!😀
would you recommend using the First Gel brand in white? instead of buying both products to combine?
First Gel's Wedding White and Titanium White are not thick enough...their White Queen would be better if you only wanted to use one product, it's more paste-like.
Amazing! When using the paste, do you need file the design off or will it soak off? Thank you!

+Susan Rathbone Thanks so much Susan.
Do you paint yours first then stick on? just curious for you non dominant hand.
I have acrylic enhancements, I'm semi- ambidextrous so painting with either hand is not difficult for me. It just takes practice :D.
