I did my first open mic yesterday. I did as expected lol. But it seems a big problem a lot of pros harp on is new comics or even people that have been in the "game" for awhile being lazy and not creating or revising material. Is it really that big of a problem?
100% yes. I'm still a fresh comic but I've met guys that told me they have been doing comedy for 7, 10 years... yet have crap material. They suck because they never faced self-criticism, or pushed their act further, or put down the booze or bong when they had a problem. But when I meet pro comics, they're professionals all the way -- they constantly work.
I hate guitar players who think they’re cool and act like they don’t know the notes or chords they just know by soul , well that’s to hard to explain hey we r gonna hang on the F for 2 bars or even twice as long and each time they go F? Yea ok unless u totally kick butt , I’m never playing with ya again
