The Braveheart Tourbillon, A Milestone For Bovet 1822

- The Braveheart Tourbillon project has existed since Pascal Raffy bought the brand in 2001. This special model, which includes a flying tourbillon with no circular balance wheel and an in-house cylindrical hairspring, was the first project he started. The Braveheart is an achievement for Raffy because it also embodies the final step of an integrative industrial process. Indeed, after acquiring the Bovetbrand , Raffy also purchased several industry suppliers in order to create a manufacture. The Braveheart, as well as the Virtuoso II, another movement that we will soon bring you more information on, can be seen as the ultimate step of the process. Apart from that, the Braveheart also marks the beginning of various horological concepts Bovet works with. First, the design is even more precise and well-balanced than on previous pieces, and naturally there are no less than 6 patents, which include one for the convertible Amadeo system. This system is like a tribute to the history of portable watches as it allows the owner to wear the watch as a wristwach, a pocket watch, or a table watch with just a few flips of the wrist. Really well done.
This guy sounds like he really loves his work.
Wow... 2 bots commenting on a 6 yr old post about a scam site. Very cool.
The engineering and design is most remarkable.
The tourbillon cage looks stunning!
So inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
Bovet is making stunning watches and deserves more respect.
They indeed should
What a fabulous piece of art. A horologist dream.
Totally understand your point of view 👍
This makes the top Rolex, Rado etc watches look like mid range or even low range watches. Just unbelievable. I am actually motivated to work harder towards buying this wonderful piece of art, of time which this watch in itself is timeless!
and no one has the balls to make a fake out-of-this..
This is ridiculously beautiful. Breathtaking stuff.
It is said that the limit of our language is the limit of our mind. Hearing this gentleman describing what he produces, well no wonder his timepieces as so beautiful as if I may , his capacity to use the English Language is amongst the best in detail and vocabulary. Congratulations .
Marc André, it was nice meeting you at Baselworld today. I had to think quite some time about your question which video that is my favourite, this has to be the one! You're showing out most respect for the people being interviewed and keeping a really high quality on the content! Looking forward to see more video coverage about the House of Bovet! Greetings from Sweden. 👌😊
I love listening to Mr. Raffy talk about Bovet's inventions, I love how passionate he is. What a beautiful timepiece.
I think this could be my all time favorite video of yours to date.... My God what a beautiful instrument!! I think if I was a billionaire I just might go broke buying up all of these unbelievably beautiful pieces of mechanical art... I'd be a happy man nonetheless. :)
+Paul William Nagy I fully understand your appreciation of this incredible watch!
I appreciate the reply. :)

A magnificent example of: micro-engineering and aesthetic art. Absolutely outstanding work of a master- watchmaker.
Wow that looks Amazing.
Now this is a Timepiece.
And just wait for the next video report we will publish next week! Another amazing Bovet piece you'll see...
Beautiful watches
absolutely STUNNING. a moving work of ART!
Towards the end, he expresses his view of watches that gives you time but a time piece gives you emotion etc After watching quite a few of these excellent videos, I have a very new respectful appreciation of these time pieces. I see why people with means would spend coins on such beautiful works of art. This Braveheart Tourbilion would certainly sit in my collection. It is gorgeous perfection of movement of time. The best that I can hope for is to 3D print a tourbilion and admire what it takes to make it smaller and smaller to fit into a wristwatch...
if l had this watch l would be a happy man. (why each time l would look at the time, time its self would seem to stand still) the complexity is beautiful
+your data24 We would be happy too!!!!
MAN YOUR MUSIC IS ALWAYS BANGING! Love it
Raffy is right - even if I was unaware of the many patents and the philosophy behind the integration of the various complications - I have an emotional response to this piece.
+Cormac Brissett We think that emotion is the first and necessary motivation to get interested to a watch. A good one is when you let the heart aside and the the brain sees also that every detail is legitimate, well done, coherent. Thank you for your comment!
... such a beauty , a magnificent watch, Bovet are pure emotion watches ! ...
They are beautiful creations of careful peoples for the needful peoples of this world !
Pure Art!
Such a masterpiece indeed.
Amazing watch!!! Love it!!!
This gentleman is sharp. Real fucking sharp.
I would pay a million dollars to hear this man describe yogurt. It would be epic.
What a beauty
quite the salesman
Even if I buy a gun, run into a bank and pull off a heist perfectly... I doubt I will be able to afford this beauty :(
True beauty
+konradallan As you say!
love
The top looks like the hand piece of a 80s-90s telephone and that is a turnoff. Also wouldn't it be just a little more impressive looking if it is a off-centre tourbillon?
I think so , Men's sounds is so good and he have incredible expression
wow.
Time for a change
To live a life that’s true to yourself , sure your living your single day

Superb
very cool
Did I heard it right.? "PATENT".
He's a true lawyer.....😊
In the future watches will probably have all complications and parts rotating on a tourbillon alone.
congratulation, there is many tourbillion wrist watch and complex part with just only few hundred dollar
@@RyzK_ I made that comment 5 years ago, when times were simpler and hundred dollar tourbillon watches were rare
A stupidly elegant timepiece that's unobtainable with mere money.
Cost probably 500,000 to 1.5 million.
I hate to think about how much that must cost

OK, I got all that beautiful philosophy... But why that beautiful philosophy is accessible only for hand full of people? What about some 99% of the rest of ordinary ones? Forget about it... He does not give a damn...
They are beautiful creations of careful peoples for the needful peoples of this world
