Hi Chris , with regard to relist or sell similar, I have only done this recently and found, if you relist and you have watcher on items, ebay inform those watchers that the item has ended and then notify that it has been relisted, so you get a better chance of getting back your watchers, now with sell similar, simple none of that happens as the item is classed as NEW listing, searching for the old ended item has vanished.

I’ve tested both extensively and found the difference to be marginal. But eBay themselves told me sell similar is best as the fact it’s a new listing outweighs the other benefits of relist. Only way is to try both and see what suits.
