Hi princess, yes, they are spectacular. The climate here is similar to northern california, apparently and redwoods do well. Awesome ! I have a Douglas fir in my garden that was nurtured from a seedling my Dad gave me from his tree in his garden. I guess the old tree was a few hundred years old.. and mine is 25 years old.. wonderful ! Hope all is well Rob my friend ! Cheers bro !!
Your tree has a lot of growing to do :) Those on the trail are nearly 200 years old. In california I believe that some of the trees are reckoned to be 1,000 years old!
