Great video Mike! I like the idea of making it street legal so you can get to your local spots and rip it quietly. I’d like to see the whole street legalization and title/registration process. Any idea if making it street legal and registered would then require a motorcycle license? This is really bridging the gap between an e-bike and a proper motorcycle. Keep it up as always man!
If you want a good all around bike then I suggest the either the beta 300 2 stroke or beta 390 4 stroke race editions. Also have a 23 ktm 250 XC and haven’t touched it since I got the betas. Kawasaki is a great bike but not for all around riding. Get yourself an actual woods bike. Beta all the way.
Make some rim protectors out of some plastic from a 2 liter soda bottle. You can cut that with scissors or knifes and it's very strong, thin, it heat shrinks even and that's useful for many things. But for tires, cut out the shape you need and use it to keep the tool from scratching the paint from the rim.. that plastic is tough and can hold up to abuse well. I use it for all kinds of stuff. I've even made an expansion pipe for an 80cc 2 stroke bike with two 2 liters with the bottoms cut off and an empty tin can with the top and bottom removed by my can opener used as a sleeve in between the inside of the bottoms of the bottles. Heat shrinks the bottles to that metal sleeve and heat shrink shape the ends clamp to a pipe from the engine add a metal tip and black paint it you want and ride it. It sounds better and had more power that the stock muffler. It ain't pretty and a trashy thing to do but I was curious if it would work and it did so my point is, v that plastic is bad ass and useful for tons of things instead of tossing it out. You could have used it to not get Nick's in the paint on your rims... The thin thickness is better than those thick blue things that get in your way mostly.
I seen one of those at the dealer near me this week. Looks like a real dirtbike actually whereas the Stark varg looks ridiculous imo. I am not a fan of electric but if i had to buy one id choose the ktm. Pretty sweet looking for sure. At least you can ride near the house now too! Congrats bro 🤙🏻
Nice bike! I get the feeling a larger sprocket on the rear would help with that twisty trail. Oh, and how about getting some extra batteries, maybe this could become your "real" bike. I think the speed will get addicting for you.
I think your hooked now Sabo, I’ve had a customized surron for the last few years and it changed everything for me! I ride it to my office most days and it changed the way I get around on our ranch.
If you want all day riding, I assume the battery pack is removeable since it has a handle. Just buy a second battery and hot swap them, so one is charging while you are out riding.
Hey man the most important thing for the battery is NEVER EVER leave it sit charged. Always charge the bike before you use it. Also it's useful to time it so that you don't fully charged the bike. Lastly I'm not sure what the cooling system on this bike is but if the battery is not liquid cooled then don't let it get hot and don't let it charge while it's hot. Don't charge outside in the sun either. Been riding electric bikes for 15 years. All air cooled batteries. But have been driving liquid and air cooled battery cars since 2015.
I didn’t even know ktm made electric bikes till recently that stark varg keeps eyeing me down! For $4500 that would sell me tbh huh. Thanks for sharing
Most e bikes you can change the sprocket and controller and gain more power. Also most have a way that you can change the programing for different performance mapping.
so, how much did you end up paying, $5K! That is a screaming great deal! KTM = top pedigree, some of the best motocross bikes that have ever been created came from KTM! You are one lucky person, good luck and have fun with it! Cheers
Dang man good find!! I got a little Talaria lol the brake thing is diffrent for e I come from mtb but I was used to right rear so once I got into e moto I switched my MTB to match the e moto Left rear
You missed the artic leopard. Last year they had entry level ext560 for 2,600 ..2x the power of ktm. 50 mile range from a 137lb bike. They are 4,500 this year delivered to door. Legit dealers ,avid riders and builders. Way more agile and poweful than ktm freeride. Trisls or long ride kit can be ran on bike. Best bang for buck available. Hit me up. I love them so much. I made sure i got set up as a distributor. And more than happy to share the info. Artic leopard! Look it up. They are going to be stark varge competition. And are going to be racing dakar this next year.
Mike you really need to get used to using your front brake more, especially on two wheels, a lot more control and stopping power using the front vs rear, even racing I don’t think I hardly ever used my back brake unless it was in the air or purposely sliding a corner
KTM knows how to make a dirtbike so all the normal stuff is likely going to be better than the ebike companies. Ninja stealth riding is a great use case for this machines.
Changing tires does suck I used to pay the guy at the local track $10 to do it 😂 u want to save time don't bother taking the chain off theres no need just slide the axle out and u can take the chain off the sprocket easy then do the same in reverse to put it back on

Pretty dope man 💪🔥
Thank you man!
My xpro tempar x was sent to my house for 2100 and i love it. Ill stick with it 😂
I didn’t even know ktm made electric bikes till recently that stark varg keeps eyeing me down! For $4500 that would sell me tbh huh. Thanks for sharing
Most e bikes you can change the sprocket and controller and gain more power. Also most have a way that you can change the programing for different performance mapping.
Love the content
Thank you!
Oh wow I knew that looked familiar. I live in NJ too. That’s in Belleville I believe. Rode up there before to see their inventory. Huge dealer.
I see official website goal in the back put that in the priority list man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a great deal!
Plus get a switch to turn off that light and may save on the battery.
Aside from pizza, and Wawa, I really miss having those trails in my backyard in South Jersey. There's not much like that in south Texas
Tire changes are the 1 thing I don’t mind paying for
Damn. I'm going to check them out right now. Hopefully, they have at least one more.
Dude you’ve sold me on the fun factor of it. Does it create a lot of heat? This would be a great bike for beginners.
Amen I love riding the ATV!
There’s one near me that’s 50 percent off too here in PA. Wish I had the extra money to get one 😅I’ll enjoy my mx4 and zx6r for now.
so, how much did you end up paying, $5K! That is a screaming great deal! KTM = top pedigree, some of the best motocross bikes that have ever been created came from KTM! You are one lucky person, good luck and have fun with it! Cheers
I thought quads were dumb until I started watching your channel. Well to be honest everybody respects banshee's whether they will admit it or not LOL
That's a Super Deal!
Dang man good find!! I got a little Talaria lol the brake thing is diffrent for e I come from mtb but I was used to right rear so once I got into e moto I switched my MTB to match the e moto Left rear
Hey I bought my 2017 yamaha r6 from them! Great people to deal with
I use SC-1 for ALL my dismount/mount tire lube!!
that charger is crazy big!!!!
Their bikes cost 9K to 11k now.
On those black rims you can use a sharpy Black Marker to cover the scratch ..... 😇
Mike you really need to get used to using your front brake more, especially on two wheels, a lot more control and stopping power using the front vs rear, even racing I don’t think I hardly ever used my back brake unless it was in the air or purposely sliding a corner
❤❤❤❤awesome deal too bad doesn't have led front head lamp I see a yellow beam change the bulb to conserve battery mike 😊😊😊😊😊
Bro! I'm literally gonna buy one tom! 5g!? Never bought bc I thought 12 k was ridiculous 5 tho well worth it
KTM knows how to make a dirtbike so all the normal stuff is likely going to be better than the ebike companies. Ninja stealth riding is a great use case for this machines.
Changing tires does suck I used to pay the guy at the local track $10 to do it 😂 u want to save time don't bother taking the chain off theres no need just slide the axle out and u can take the chain off the sprocket easy then do the same in reverse to put it back on
Im sure they have the sensors in the brake switches etc you can disconnect them and it will wheelie
Id recommend the talaria xxx but he’s using the bike off-road it can go off road but its more of a street bike than a terrain bike
