It’s not about how many characters you have it’s how you use them in the story.
Facts.
@@rrajendran89 and the amount of characters in a story can hinder how they are used.
If it’s like the animated Man of Tomorrow it should be fine

Yay! Rob’s back!
I was thinking the same thing. I'm so glad he's back, missed him.
@@nithorias9622 if I may ask, where has he been?
@@yudhazacharias9377he's been busy working on his audio novel. I think he just finished the project.
@SuperRamos619 oh okay, thank you
Considering we haven’t seen the movie, we have no idea how they will be used. X-Men have a hundred characters. Lord of the Rings has a hundred characters. They work fine. We will have to see.
I think you’re leaving out the important part that those properties are intentionally made with those amount of characters. Now, maybe if we were doing the justice league movie or justice league international movie then yes by all right that would make sense but it’s a standalone Superman movie. If anything they should’ve just used people that are usually close to Superman like Supergirl steel parasite Metallo people like that.
@@allyoucansee590 As long as a character has something to add to the story, they don't need to already be tied to the character beforehand. One big theory is that the movie is going to be a reverse Kingdom Come, where many superheroes work for corporations while Superman fights simply to help people.
Hawkgirl, Mr. Terrific, & Guy Gardener are all wearing costumes with the Lordtech logo, so that's probably why they're here. To show the difference between a corporate superhero, and what Superman represents.
@ who cares, we don’t even know this Superman. So a kingdom come story would be redundant. The reason why kingdom come was such a beloved story is because people actually knew everything that Superman stood for. They knew it already before the kingdom comes story actually came out. We don’t know what this Superman stand for, nor do we need a bunch of different characters to show what this Superman stands for. If you can’t make a good Superman movies on Superman alone, then you shouldn’t have put yourself in the situation to be criticized in such a manner. And just because it has something to do with kingdom come doesn’t mean it’s gonna be good. Just because they’re adapting something from the comics that was so-called good doesn’t mean that it will always end up good. Plus most general audience have no clue what kingdom come is. So they are Lord of adapting such a story is mute to the general public.
@@allyoucansee590 I think the movie isn't a direct adaptation of the Kingdom Come, but rather it's themes. The story was written at a time when anti-heroes were trending and Superman was seen as outdated and boring by comparision. So the story explored why Superman is who he is, and why he has to be.
Right now, we are in a very similar moment cultural moment. Superhero movies are everywhere, and lately, they feel more generic and stale than ever. So this movie is probably going to use those other heroes to emphasize how corporations are ruining most heroes in the DC world, just like they're ruining superhero movies.
Then they can introduce this new Superman as someone who believes in being a hero because it's the right thing to do, and doesn't agree with all these corporate heroes. That way, you can have all these new characters, while still having Superman be the main character.
Not only that, but James Gunn will be able to say something about problems in the broader movie industry, and use Superman's core values as a potential solution. You don't need to know anything about Kingdom Come to appreciate a story like that.

More recent one is Deadpool and wolverine
The drewsleys) tv spinoff for upcoming potter show?!?! Interesting
I don’t see the issue. The world is open and active with heroes + Supergirl is literally the next movie
Yes. A World with hundreds of heroes. Would be strange If The movie wouldn't show more characters.
Of course, in the universe and even on Earth, there are thousands of heroes and things like that. But when it's a character's first film, it's assumed that the focus will be on him. For example, imagine if the first Iron Man had already featured Thanos, Captain America, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, etc. That's why I think the strangeness with this choice is valid.
And supergirl in it sets up her movie and just cause she’s in it, it’s most likely “larger cameo” status
It's not a team movie, it's a solo movie. And it's not a sequel in which you can incorporate one or two new supporting super-heroes (for example War Machine and Black Widow in Iron Man 2) it's the first movie of the franchise AND the first live action movie of the universe !
I love the fact that we can enjoy so many characters in the movie and amongst them so many familiar (and non familiar) super-heroes, super-pets and anti-heroes BUT there are at least 8 of them that we know of in this movie (granted two of them are derivative heroes of Superman and one of those is a dog but still).
I don't recall any solo super-hero movie that had so many super-heroes in the first installment of its franchise. Not to say it won't work but the concern is legit since we don't really have anything to compare it with.
I think the reason for the "too many characters" idea comes from an understanding that most of these characters are likely being added because they are gonna get their own movie later. It's not that they bring anything impactful to the movie or really have a place. They are more often then not just quickly thrown into the script in a half assed manner. Is that the case here? We don't know yet, but it certainly has happened many times in the past years. So that's people's expectation at this point.
Yep, I agree. I think the fear is that this is a pseudo-set up for all of the other characters. BvS was criticized for something similar
@@Hulavuta don't mind the hypocrites...
Except track record matters and James Gunn has an excellent track record and this is a super hero movie that would honestly make less sense if there were not a bunch of heroes flying around. How many times have you seen a superhero movie and thought, “why isn’t this hero helping out?” It’s because of the budget or the actor is busy or something. But if there was actually superheroes in the real world they’d be crossing over into different battles all the time. It makes the world and story feel more lived in and more fantastical.
@@jaxsonburch-eo1vz please take off the word "real" you're making use of. Gunn's movies never mirrors anything close to "real". Nobody dances in the middle of an alien invasion in real world, likewise rats can't be used to kill a kaiju...
@@randyatimi4511 yeah well I’m not doing that lol. Especially when you took away literally the most irrelevant point from my comment. I don’t see the point in talking to you further if you won’t actually address my actual argument.
People complaining about characters being in the trailer for fractions of a second and how they will overshadow superman which is crazy.
The story will still focus on superman and only mr terrific is stated to have a big role on the plot.
Bruh. People seem to have forgotten there was a lil film called CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. That film had a boat load of characters and we got to know almost all of them through previous movies. And yet they were still able to keep it Capt. America centric. And the difference with Superman is, we have not gotten to know these characters and people outside the nerd sphere won't or barely know who they are and are literally going into this as a first viewing. So that idea of there being too many characters is just coming from people who think the world is as much in the know as they are and people who haven't given much thought about screen time or anything
Especially when Gunn has been at this for years now. How have people forgotten he introduced the mainstream to guardians of the galaxy?
That was an Avengers movie titled as a Captain America movie.
that CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR was like the 13th movies on that roster, so it's normal. The likely two new characters on that movie were Spider-man and Black Panther.
The difference is that Civil War wasn’t introducing us to Captain America, nor most of the characters with whom he’d be interacting. And the new characters it introduced-such as Spiderman and Black Panther-got to play off of the already established iterations of characters around them.
I’m willing to give this new Superman film a chance, but, I AM nervous that these characters will serve more as unnecessary distractions than anything else. Don’t know why it’s so important to hammer home the point that other heroes exist in THIS film, as if we wouldn’t believe it if they showed up later on instead
Good point
Superman feels like an actual comic book movie. Every other iteration was imagining these characters in our world, but Superman genuinely feels like we get to imagine being in their world.
I feel like having this many other established superheroes in the DC universe could make Superman feel less special, depending on how it’s written. But it could also make him the standout if written correctly. Guess we’ll have to wait and see to determine which one.
What makes Superman special is not just his powers, it's who he is as a person. I think the movie will explore that.
What are you talking about??? Buddy it's dcu wtf are you talking about??? Touch grass. Holy shit.
@ you’re under my comment using profane language because you don’t agree with me but I need to “touch grass”? Hilarious. Weirdo.
If there is one person who can pull of many characters and make a good movie, it’s James Gunn
lol
Hmm my problem was different in that I didn’t know who most of these characters are and I actually thought they were all villains. I think comic book films can definitely make the mistake of being too “over stuffed” and we’ve seen it happen many times. The Amazing spider-Man 2 and Batman vs Superman immediately come to mind. Then you hsve Age of Ultron where I felt Ultron was not given enough screen time to really shine.
I think the problem is that there a lot of characters who are not typical Superman characters.
I personally think it is necessary for the story being told (especially if it is going to be based on kingdom come) but I understand why it’s getting people on edge
Thought it was based on God and Monsters.
As long as the movie focuses on Superman it doesnt matter. We knew Supergirl would be in it ages ago. From the trailer and what Gunn has said im very confident itll be a Superman movie first and foremost
But why wouldn't it? Look at all Gunn's movies. It does still focus on the main character. Look at real life. Would you say you have too many friends that supports you? No

Great to see Rob on the panel...
And also, you sound ridiculous saying that it would be amazing that if Guy Gardner got killed from the Superman movie and the lantern series would follow the mystery mystery about how we got killed in the Superman movie? One that sounds stupid as hell. Two if he gets killed in the Superman movie, we’re gonna see it. We’re gonna know who kills him and to introduce such an aspect to that movie and leave it a mystery throughout the movie when James Gunn already clearly stated that these movies won’t connect to each other they’re just in a shared world That would go back to him not only lying but also a ridiculous plot point. If he gets killed in Superman, we’re gonna know who kills him. Why would that carry over to the lantern series? It’s like you guys are trying to find any and every excuse to get around all of this sounds like straight horseshit.
This movie 16 characters a potentially more with a run time under two hours and 30 minutes. That’s a lot and more than enough to warrant concern, plus he already said that the characters have a part of the story and are not just cameos.
There are movies with more characters in less runtime, it'll be fine
@ give me examples of superhero movies with more characters that are good that aren’t predated by solo movies. This movie has a lot to do it has to set up the world, introduce us to the characters of Superman, Lois and Lex, introduced all the other characters and use them, while still trying to make a cohesive story.
I'm not sure why we are assuming that everyone and everything needs to be "set up". I don't expect a deep dive every characters backstories and their journeys. The film opens up in a world already populated by superheroes. I like the comparison to Harry Potter where it actually has DOZENS of characters with deeper history that are familiar to book readers but when I watch it, they're literally just characters in a film like any other.
If I'm watching the Godfather I don't need a "set up" for Sonny, Tom, Fredo, Clemenza, Sollozzo, Kay, Tessio, Carlo, Connie, Fontane, Luca, Moe... Or even Vito Corleone himself. The films tone and plot can tell me the world I'm in and the characters actions/reactions can tell me everything I need to know about who the characters are
@@looming416too easy, the batmam: bruce, alfred, riddler, joker, penguin, falcone, catwoman, catwoman's roomate, gordon, mayor bella, chief mackenzie, thomas and martha wayne,.... it doesnt need to setup for every charcters in the roster.
@ the only characters I’ll give you out of that is Batman,Alfred,Gordon, Catwoman, falcon, Riddler, penguin, the mayor and the officer. That’s 9 characters plus it was 3 hours, Superman has 17 with a runtime that less than 2 hours and 30 minutes.
I really care as long as those characters serve the story right i really don't care how much characters they put in it. Besides most superman stories have alot of side characters and superheroes in it but i think it'll do just fine
It's a matter of how much screen time they will have! I just don't want Superman to be an extra in his own movie!
Most of them will only have 1 or 2 minutes screentime... You know... Like most side characters have in other movies...
A Superman movie can be made without any of the characters being included in this Superman movie, without it effecting the movie whatsoever, in theory(depending on the story) but you CANT make a LOTR or HP movie without any of those chracters because they are integral to the original story. There's a huge difference so it's not a legit comparison. People actually give those movies shit for leaving out certain characters.
I agree! There is no logic whatsoever in comparing it to Lord of the Rings. Because the story, even though it focuses on Frodo, already begins with a group.
Of course, in the universe and even on Earth, there are thousands of heroes and things like that. But for example, imagine if the first Iron Man had already featured Thanos, Captain America, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, etc. That's why I think the strangeness with this choice is valid.
@@correiodozac Exactly. Its the equivalent to what you said, an Ironman movie kicking off the MCU featuring Black Widow, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, Wonderman, Rocket and Groot, Norman Osborn, War Machine
I am a little worried about the number of characters, because I think it makes the story-telling more difficult to balance if you have a lot of characters competing for time and can overbloat a movie's run-time to compensate (do we end up with a bloated movie of 2.5 hours because we keep diverting to scenes with other characters which add little to the plot when a more compelling and tighter story could have been told in 2 hrs?) But it really does depend how they're used and the function they're playing in the story. I'm withholding judgement until I see the movie and what Gunn does.
I’m expecting hawkgirl , GL, Mr Terrific , etc to have as much screen time as Dr fate , Hawkman , and cyclone did in Black Adam. Not a lot but just enough

Slither is a masterpiece 🚨
At first, I thought it was overcrowded, but John broke it down a lot better, and it's like reading other comic books where superhero comics like Superman is a supporting character in Batman Hush comic.
To put it in perspective on what other people are feeling this movie has more characters than the first two avengers movies with potentially shorter run time.
Yes but the other superhero movies ar just for watch worldbuilding purposes not actuall characters.... They won't take away from supermans screen time.... It's not the same like avengers...
The Guy Gardner scene in _"Superman"_ BETTER be the best scene in the entire movie hahaha
As long as the main focus is on Clark, it shouldn't be an issues. And I'm sure Supergirl will be a brief cameo or stinger.
Superman is my most anticipated film this year after Final Reckoning!
I think there is some confusion here about "too many characters" in the Superman movie. Yes, star wars, Harry potter and so on have many characters but I think what people are saying is there are too many superhero characters under the movie title Superman.
Who cares if they are other superheros???? Holy shit.
Why should we believe Superman is special in a world full of superheroes, if we’re never introduced to the others?
Wouldn’t surprise me if Supergirl is a post credit scene or a set up scene leading in to her own film
That’s what I’m thinking, she’s probably just going to be in the end credit.☝️
I just dont like the idea of Ultraman ! Its too soon to get a evil Superman twin, IF THAT IS THE STORY. im hoping its not corenswet under that mask but some other twist
Rob and Campea make a good team. Reminds me of the heroes Collider days. On a side note, they are definitely gonna tease Batman at the end of Superman in some way.
It's not fair to compare non-superhero movies to a superhero movie that's not supposed to be a super team movie like Guardians of the Galaxy.
there is no logic whatsoever in comparing it to Lord of the Rings. Because the story, even though it focuses on Frodo, already begins with a group. The movie is called The Lord of the Rings, not Frodo Baggins. Harry Potter is another bad example, because there is no Harry Potter outside of the school of magic and his friends. They accompany Harry in all the movies. Unlike Superman, who is not fundamentally tied to Supergirl and the others who will appear in this movie.
I think it really comes down to how much they get used, because seeing as how this DCU is a little bit pre established it’s probably just gonna be a series of cameos in a world that’s already been used to having them around, I don’t think when Guy Gardner shows up in that building Superman is in Superman is gonna go “Who the hell are you?” He’s gonna be like “Guy” That I think makes it a little different, because it’s a whole other thing if another superhero that’s completely new to this world shows up and so now you gotta build them up and explain them, whereas since they’re pre established they can kinda just come and go, that I think is what’s ultimately gonna make it not feel crowded, because I don’t think any of these heroes are gonna be technically *new* to this world
Crazy how no one seems to understand, all of the heroes in the movie are known to be rude, harsh, aggressive, and/or cynical...everything Superman isn't. This story is built around the contrast. A reverse Kindom Come.
For me going back to the original 1978 movie, Superman is a simple love story with superhero element in it. For all the die hard comic book fans, this will surely hit well. With the average movie audience? Not so well I think
I cannot believe that we are STILL getting these dumb comments.
Children crying saying, "There are too many characters." or "Superman is not going to have any time to shine"
Total idiots. This is the same number of characters as any other movie. Not even a large movie. Go count the credits of any movie.
I'm not bery excited about this movie but I still want a superman movie to BE ABOUT superman. I know they wanna save some time by introducing some other heroes in the story so the DCU can feel like a cinematic universe already built, so from that point of view I get why they do it this way. But I wouldn't want these other heroes to be in just one or two scenes because then I wouldn't think those characters need to be in the story at all. Now, if they manage to give those characters several scenes that are spread out through the entire movie, and if those scenes make narrative sense and don't cloud the main character of superman then I don't think it should damage the movie
People are complaining because those characters (Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner, Engineer, Metamorpho) are like standalone names, they have their own attributed colors and powers, they feel like they can lead their own franchises (movies and shows).
If there is one director that can handle an ensemble hero movie, Gunn is that guy
Campea - Star Wars, LOTR, Oppenheimer are horrible comparisons to try to draw for the “too many characters” in this Supes movie. Those are characters original to the story. Your team isn’t gonna call you out on it
What do you mean?
I’m glad someone actually said it
What do you mean "original to the story"?
By that logic, all of those characters in the Superman movie would also be original to the story since they all come from DC then.
@@johannsanne5281 what he means is your traditional baseline Superman story does not feature all those characters, barely of those characters actually. Maybe if it was people that was close to the Superman mythos like steel or parasite or Mongol or metal or someone like that it would be different but the people that are in this movie is the trashes lineup that you can possibly think of to putting in a Superman movie. And at the same time, this is coming from the same guy who said that the flash movie was the greatest comic superhero movie ever. So I mean, people are forgetting that he is the guy that actually said those exact words.
As long as the various characters don't just feel like a ton of cameos, I think it'll be fine. However, I absolutely hate movies that stuff in a bunch of meaningless cameos. That just takes away screentime form what matters most and makes the movie good, and replaces it with largely pointless fluff. I can't stand stuff like that.
I am Excited for Superman Movie is Ones of My Favorite's to Watch This Year 2025 & See Characters & Story Be Big One & I do Agreed Brother Robert
Having a lot of characters in their doesnt make it a Justice League movie. Having those characters do justice league things and be front and centre for most of the movie would make it a Justice League movie.
A lot of new people who have never been in a superman movie before and a new story and it is a complete new movie that has not been done before
It depends how much screen time supergirl has
I think it might be just a small cameo
I trust James Gunn so I trust that it will work.
I’m so glad Rob’s back!
Respectfully, I’m not rocking with that Oppenheimer-analogy. Oppneheimer’s not getting a sequel, nor was it trying to springboard a cinematic universe. If Nolan was going to include Einstein in his Oppenheimer movie, he had one shot to do so-and there was real-world historical precedence for it (though he took creative liberties in how he went about it). That’s far different from cramming a bunch of fictional heroes, anti-heroes, and/or villains in a film that’s supposed to be about one hero in particular.
Don’t know how those characters are going to be used, so I’m willing to give it a chance, but I’m concerned for the possibility that Gunn hasn’t learned the right lessons from the demise of the DCEU
Gotta admit, I am dubious but there's also a tone that this Superman has that reminds me of the 90s Animated series of Superman which is awesome. However it just is shot weirdly, with that grading or LUT which looks like The Flash movie
From what I understand the characters are to convey that Superman is the new hero in town, Ultraman is the inverse of Superman and then he has allies, enemies, allies turned enemies, ect to flesh out the main character. At least the intent doesn’t seem to be to cram a bunch of characters to do spinoffs and set up other stuff.
Great to have Rob back!
My concern is that James Gunn likes to do ensemble movies and I hope Superman’s story doesn’t get lost in a team environment. I hope the characters feature sparingly and the focus is on Superman.
No, it's not too many characters. I can't wait to see it.
Folks love (mostly) “multiverse” storytelling. But, the makers need to be careful not to rush it together.
Civil War was a Captain America movie with THE AVENGERS as the supporting cast. I think James Gunn is also trying to sell us a universe (not just Superman). He can knock out two birds with one stone-Civil War style- so when the solo movies come around, we are more emotionally invested in the characters.
People made the same complaint about BvS and that was just WW, AM & Flash.
Rob is back?
Based off what he’s done I think Gunn does well with big casts
It's a pre-established world, as some say this is like year 2 for Superman. And like James Gunn said it will be a world that isn't always fair to superheroes.
I don't think equating superhero characters to traditional film roles really checks out for me. Superheroes are inherently more dense and each has incredibly different backstories and lore that should be accounted for at some level. Otherwise the general audience will struggle to follow along.
People just like having something to complain about. Most people should be used to this format at this point from the superhero genre.
i never understood the "its not a superman movie theres too many characters" argument.. like do you not have the ability to think? the a character being in a movie doesnt make the movie about them their just side characters its a way to introduce us to both the characters and how they are in this new DCU and to introduce us to the fact that this world is lived in and already has a bunch of super hero's running around
I'm fine with it as long as they don't stop the movie for every character to do an exposition dump. If Green Lantern comes in and they stop the movie for 10 minutes to explain who he is then that's a problem unless it's part of the story. Some heroes like Metamorpho could be created in this movie but as long as the story justifies it it's fine.
maybe the question should've been "Are there too many superhero/supervillan characters in the movie"?
Yeah, listening to his team. It sounds like they don’t want to tell him that he’s wrong about those comparisons to Oppenheimer. And why the hell would he choose Oppenheimer to try and make his point that is a terrible terrible take
Never too much it's the DCU ladies and gentes
captain america the Winter Soldier has captain America, falcon, black widow, nick fury, winter soldier, cross bones, maria hill, peggy carter, sharon carter, arnim zola, batroc....yet it's still focuses on captain America and still considered one of the greatest comic book movies of all time cuz how well those characters are utilized
Winter Soldier was not the first Captain America movie. And it was released 8 films after the first MCU film. Not counting after a group film called Avengers.
@@correiodozac and this is not an origin movie, in this universe heroes have already existed for a while and the other characters are not there to set up other movies and are there to serve a purpose to the story....whether that works or not will have to be determined once the movie comes out
Lotr had a minimum of 20 characters to remember just to understand the story.
Too many for sure. If theres no character devrlopment then im not gonna care overall
Absolutely! IMO DC is just repeating the same mistake they made with Justice League - too many characters too early in the series. I would argue that, based upon theatrical performance, most DC movies since 1989 that have had multiple villains/heroes in the same movie are worse than those movies with just one hero/one villain. Could Gunn change my mind - sure. But using the GOG characters in Avengers only worked because we had seen them previously and had time to get to know the characters and let them breathe - throw them into Avengers without a "proper" introduction and that movie is received differently.
Like Rob said, this is a world full of heroes, it'd make less sense for no other hero to even show up when there's danger.
It's an issue I've had with the mcu, yes I get budget, etc, but for a world of heroes, especially mcu where they're all in New York, it's really weird no hero thinks to show up when there's large enough danger to clearly draw other heroes' attention.
And it seems people forget Civil War is a thing, had several heroes and was still Cap's movie. So yeah, Superman isn't overstuffed.
Actually, there is one difference, many of characters we see in new Superman movie have potential to have their own movies and are part of of their own franchises, which is not the case in many other movies.
Yeahh and we can equate it to the Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario franchises as well. I mean you can't have Sonic without Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Dr. Robotnik, Shadow, etc and you can't have Super Mario without Peach, Luigi, Toad, Bowser, the Goombas, etc. and yet we can tell they are the "stars of the show"
….. I can’t argue with this. Valid point John.
The best superhero movies IMHO have been stand alone. Dark Knight, Superman the Movie, Spider-Man 2.
Thanks for not trashing the Superman movie❤

Too many characters. For a Superman movie. Happy for him to bounce off a team, but Superman himself is enough. Something Man of Steel understood.

If you loved Milly in HOTD, you should see her in the 2019 Australian comedy series "Upright". When I first saw her in this back then, I said she'd be the next Aussie Hollywood superstar.
this sounds like it's going the opposite direction of the sony spidermanless films. I guess we can compare how superman with a bunch of other characters compares to venom without spiderman.
John, you always say, when making a comic book movie it not always about us the comic book fans, they should consider people who are not. So while I agree that every movie has supporting characters. In this case, most of the supporting characters are big names in the comic book world and can headline their own movie. Supergirl, Mr Terrific, Metamorpho, GL, Ultraman.
Depending on how James Gunn use them, it could look to crowded...
Eh im not worried. Gunn knows how to use an ensemble to focus on a specific character (rocket and guardians). Im just waiting for the movie to come out now
Does any of the Star Wars or Lord of the Rings films have too many characters? Short answer is “No”.
Ngl if someone told me a few years ago a dcu would start with creature commandos, superman, then supergirl id be kinda turned off but im willing to let Gunn get a fair chance without WB Studio interference
Isn't the whole point of DCEU failing due to rushing and trying to play catch up?
And now James Gunn is trying to introduce a whole new DC universe in a single movie. Idk what's he cooking tbh.
Captain America civil war has "too many characters," guardians of galaxy has many characters, etc.
Differences with Civil War that movie had eight years of set up this is the first movie in the franchise for DC so that’s not a good comparison. also this movie has almost about twice as many characters as the guardians movie
Agree with John
It's stopped at "Hawkgirl looks great". Like seriously? Her suit looks terrible.
That supergirl costume in the background looks great... wish it would be something similar. We can wish right lol
I think the problem is... BvS got flack for wonder woman being in the film and one scene showing aLex had surveillance of Meta Humans and Snyder got drag for "forcing " tmThe Justice League in it....
Those same ppl are saying nothing to the"Get Along Gang" of Superheroes in the Superman film.
Too much hate watching in Fandom.
I really dont understand how you can complain that they're too many characters in the film. The movie is called Superman, not Superman and friends. James gunn has mentioned several times the other characters are only in the movie to establish that other heroes already exist in this universe. Honestly have we never seen multiple characters in a solo superhero movie? Did people not watch Captain America Civil war, Thor ragnarok? Spiderman no way home? At this point its just complaining for no reason
I’m worried we’re headed for the divisive arena Zack found himself in. Hopefully it blows everyone away because if it’s awful some people will still fight for it out of loyalty. Then we have another five years of crap movies because no one is brave enough to pull the plug.
It's supposed to be a Superman movie he will be a side character at this rate
It is a superman movie... Literally nothing contract this...
