Sometimes the hardest thing in these games is just navigating (finding stuff and people) and understanding why things are happening. These (you would think basic) routines are something I would love a tutorial video on. E.g. I recall in CK2 having disloyal peopl ein my court but struggling to work out who they were and what to do about it! :)

At one point you talk about the variable cost of men-at-arms as raised versus unraised, but at another point you phrase it as peacetime versus wartime. Those 2 are not synonyms. I assume you can raise them during peacetime as well (for raiding for example, or defending against raiders), and you can also choose not to raise them during war. So which statement in the video was wrong? Or are both modifiers which can both affect the cost? Also, since men-at-arms (CK3's version of retinues) need to be raised, does this imply you can't declare war with them raised? Unlike in CK2 where your retinues would already be ready at the border before a declaration of war.

Here are some things that are making me question the devs 1: Where is random world generator? Will it be in the game? 2: Is the game going to be as hard as ck2? 3: Will maintaining your own realm be fun and easy?
1. The random world generator will obviously not be in the base game. The random world generator is just an added little feature that most people only played once or twice. It’s not very heavily used and also would take a ton of extra development time to make work. I’d rather have the game come out sooner then have to wait just so a feature i’ll only use once will be in it. 2. Are you calling ck2 hard? I recommend you play any other grand strategy game and see how wrong you are. Ck2 is easily paradox’s easiest game ever made. It is not very complicated when compared to other grand strategy titles. Ck3 will have roughly the same difficulty as Ck2. 3. What do you mean by “fun and easy”. If ck2 was to hard for you then you may as well give up on playing any more grand strategy games. Also if you enjoyed Ck2 then you will enjoy Ck3. It’s in many ways the same game but enhanced.
@@isaacwilcox3010 You got a serious problem. I have played all the other paradox games and I love playing hoi4 and Stellaris. I even put so many hours in eu4. For you to say this is the easiest game means that you have a very high ego. Random world generator is worth it because its something to keep a guy who likes random stuff in a game, and I find it not to be something to critize for something to like that type of stuff. I really don't understand why you would say those stupid things for the others, its not even an answer. I play games to have fun, if having fun requires me to have to use all my brain cells then I am not going to enjoy it. Just buy more of their dlcs, you are probably.
Algerian Prophet Firstly, dude why are you taking such a hostile tone. Those were my legitimate answers to your questions. Why are you being so rude to the guy who took time out of his day to leave you a response to your questions? Secondly, I never said I was some kinda grand strategy god nor did i say you were terrible at grand strategy games. I simply stated the obvious fact that ck2 is one of if not the easiest paradox game. This isn’t just my opinion you can ask anyone who plays paradox grand strategy games and they will tell you how easy ck2 is. Ck2 is about making a story and role playing. The game is not designed to be hard or nearly as complicated as other grand strategy titles. Me and my friends play a lot of grand strategy games and we are shit at a lot of them. Most likely your probably better then me at hoi4 and stellaris. I suck at those games and that’s why I know ck2 is an easier game. The game is not very similar to other grand strategy titles. It’s mostly just a medieval story teller. Thirdly, you have every right to enjoy the random world generator. I never said it was a dumb or bad feature. However you have to understand that most of the fan base does not give a crap about it. It’s not a very widely used feature and it’s also not a very essential one. It will probably be released as a dlc later down the line. It is just plainly weird for you to think such a random bonus feature would be included in the base game. Fourthly, if you are able to enjoy hoi4 and stellaris then how the hell can you say “If having fun requires me to use all my brain cells then i’m not going to enjoy it.” Both of those games require a lot of mental thought. Ck2 also requires some metal thought but compared to those games it is a lot easier for most people. Fifthly, All i did was answer your questions. Why are you acting like i insulted you? Finally, this is not an insult, i just want to help. If you are having trouble with some of ck2’s mechanics feel free to ask me to explain and i’d be happy to help you out.
2. Depends since I think is random Everytime, but generally, is your experience, how you're dealing with vassal, ect. (Is that right? Eg cetira). And also depends how you define "hard", although it will be a little hard since money (or coins) won't be easier to get in CK3. 3. Depends which country you play (or nation) and how you maintain your own realm, if you are the emperor of HRE (holy roman empire), you will have vassals and rebellions fighting against you (unless your vassals like you),while fun isn't easy (a little hard but depends on how you maintain), but generally is fun when your vassals rebel against you (And winning wars). Here are some things that are making me question the devs
1: Where is random world generator?
Algerian Prophet
Firstly, dude why are you taking such a hostile tone.
(I'm kind of have some difficulty putting words correctly)
