@prime_draws OMG the names need to be: Transformers One Transformers Stand (as in stand together against the Quintessons or Fall) Transformers Fall (as in the fall of Cybertron) The whole Trilogy being based on the phrase "one shall stand one shall fall".
Fun fact: according to TFWiki Paramount originally wanted this film to be much more light-hearted and comedic (probably why the first trailer was marketed the way it was). When Josh Cooley, the director, was brought on, he really wanted it to have more emotional beats and nuance in addition to the comedy (all the while he was given the whole Transformers lore guidebook to learn from). So we REALLY gotta thank Cooley for being awesome and doing that.

I knew this movie was made by hardcore fans when I found out Megatron’s miner name D-16 was a reference to the packaging number on the Japanese release of his G1 toy, like how the fuck do you come up with a reference like that
Actually D-16 was his comic miner/gladiator name. And yes it was his package number reference. But they didn't use original names of Elita-One and Starscream. Elita-One was Ariel, Starscream was Ulchtar.
Yeah. And later the IDW comics took Megatron's packaging number an created his low class miner D-16 backstory of his. :) (the story was that the lwest on the social hierarchy sisn't even had names, just numbers, and that is why Megatron started his revolution, but later he turned evil, because he was corrupted by his lust of power, and thirst for vengeance)
@@gamerzilla6113 That's because the Ariel name was only a G1 thing and never again, and we didn't even get to know that much about Starscream in this movie so for all we know his name originally was Ulchtar
One of the big parts for my sister was seeing Cybertrons surface constantly changing, and she asked me, and I said “don’t you get it, Cybertron is always TRANSFORMING” and she didn’t talk to me for the rest of the movie
7:13 That may be the case for a newcomer, but it really hit you in the feels when you’re a veteran fan watching the big split of D16 and Orion. You know it’ll happen, but it breaks your heart to see it actually unfold before your eyes for the first time. “This isn’t over….Prime.” That line in particular just cut straight to the heart/spark.
Even for a newcomer (I've watched the film with several). Seeing such a strong friendship devolve, seeing D/Megatron fall to becoming such an awful person... that _is_ a strong emotional core. When D-16 lets go of Orion, the whole following sequences genuinely made me more emotional than perhaps any film I've ever seen. "Emotional" doesn't have to mean "crying." When Dazz said that, I stopped watching. Plus some lines earlier in the review make me wonder if he mistook that scene as revealing Megatron was secretly evil all along or something, missing the entire point, but maybe he just used very poor phrasing.
Seeing people like you who's just getting into Transformers and raving about how cool this world and these characters makes me so unbelievably happy seeing people really get into this lore and discovering things I stuggle tonexplain how amazing Transformers really is is great keep up the great work
for the most part i agree, but i do still feel like the face are very uncanny valley i honestly feel like it would've been better if they just didn't have moving mouths, and it was just the voices and facial expressions
Sentinel’s death had me cheering man. Not only was it a callback to jazz in the bayfilms, but he got what he deserved! *Hey, is it bad that I understand why D-116/Megatron wanted to kill and turn to evil? I cant be the only one man*
While Senttinels death is well deserved it also marks the final step to D-16 becoming megatron and considering everything that Megatron brings about… maybe in the long run you question what was better
thats the beauty of his arc in this film. he has true justification for why he became megatron. he idealised the *strongest* prime, and when he found out that sentinel not only killed all the primes, but intentionally caused all of the suffering he had to deal with, almost anyone would want revenge. im surprised the rest didnt have a moment like that too, but then it would've taken away from the contrast of when d-16 killed someone for the first time, or when he single handedly took on starscream and got the respect of the elite guard.
In most iterations, Optimus begins his life on Cybertron as an archivist vs a worker or gladiator. And I actually don't mind the change. He IS part of the people who struggled, who didn't have an identity before becoming an Autobot. Before, he was only aware of the societal issues in Cybertron because of his role as an archivist. Being truly part of the minority in the classist structure of Cybertron puts this Optimus at a unique advantage to understand why they need to fundamentally change Cybertron.
Optimus have never been a gladiator. He wasa dock worker in G1, a disgraced academy cadet in TFA, an archivist/librarian in TFP, a cop in IDW, in the Bayverse he was just a random bot who Sentinel recruited to help him find the Allspark. You're right, while he was never as low on the social hierarchy as Megatron, he was still pretty low class.
@@pepita2437 Oh I know I was just listing off what I knew was a role cause I'm not too familiar with how Cybertron worked myself. But I know that one thing people could be was a gladiator, like Megatron in TFP. Also was he really? I was kind of under the impression that if he was an archivist, who was under the mentorship of Trion, that put him a few leagues above others. Dang.
@@thatoneguy319 Think of it this way; in TFP where he was an archivist, how else would Orion come to know Megatron if their societal circles didn't really overlap that much? If he were higher up on the scale, he probably wouldn't have given Megatron the time of day.
@@pepita2437 No, Orion was upper middle class at the absolute lowest in Prime at least. He came from a place of privilege and comfort, and in IDW, he was an active part of the corrupt and oppressive system. My favorite iteration of Prime is where he started out as a librarian, and Megatron was a miner, who became a gladiator, and he used his platform from his days as a gladiator to start the Decepticon revolution.
D-16's character progression throughout the film absolutely *HARD-CARRIED* the film for me; the reluctant ally pulled into the antics of the wannabe-hero Orion Pax, only to find out that their leader Sentinel Prime had screwed them all over and a misguided sense of justice leading him down a dark path was amazing to see, especially when D-16 snaps at Orion and the others soon after they first find out the big revelation.
As a 8-year strong Transformers fan; This film has been total wish fulfillment from all the like-action schlock. A dream come true in so many aspects. There were so many reinterpretations of previous ideas in a new way. This movie has one of the most creative interpretations of Cybertron as a planet i have ever seen

You know, there's a really good quote from Megatron himself in TF Prime that perfectly describes how badly Paramount has fumbled marketing not just this franchise, but Sonic the Hedgehog (the first movie) and Mutant Mayhem. And why the audiences are getting a bit tired of the constant string of bad marketing decisions from this company. "Despite your treachery, I've allowed you to carry on this long because I took a certain delight in following your string of failures. But you've finally become tiresome. Predictable. You've hit. Rock. Bottom." It really isn't much of a surprise then, that Paramount is merging with Skydance. I'm starting to think movies like this, Mutant Mayhem, Sonic, are flukes. Good because the PEOPLE behind them care about the franchise. Meanwhile the studio....wanted Sonic to look realistic. Make of that what you will.
The dialogue on that show was top-notch despite being for children. I wholeheartedly agree. It's obvious that people behind the scenes are deliberately trying to get these kinds of movies to fail. Which is stupid because these mid-budget movies have a higher likelihood of financial success than a blockbuster does simply because it needs to earn less. Transformers One Pre-marketing costs was only around 75 million. The wild robot and Puss in boots 2 both also have a budget of less than 100 million and, as a result, are more profitable.

@@samengelage3521 In General companies care more about growth than they do profits, in other words they want bigger and bigger returns rather than stable income.
@@celestialmailbox3622 true, But I think that animation studios in particular are seeing the worth of smaller budgets and testing to see If they can work out. Paramount mainly deals with live action, though, so I'm not surprised they don't care as much about their animations when it's literally just transformers.
I actually didn’t find bumblebee annoying in the movie, I find him adorkable and funny, and he actually knows when to be quiet as the film gets darker.
8:54 This is fascinating because it’s clear to the fans that this is not connected to any of the movies even though it’s an origin story, yet the broader audience connects them all because we’ve been trained to by Marvel.
@aetheriox463 nah it's ok mate I'm just being a little jerk. :) I'm still a little bit high from the experience. Man what a movie. I don’t think it needed a subversive plot tbh. A piece media just needs to be engaging to care about. If the story gets you to endear with its characters, then it’s done its job.
If you want more, I’d recommend watching some of the Transformers shows, like Transformers Animated or especially Transformers Prime because the same composer for Transformers Prime made the OST for Transformers One.
@@TheRibottoStudios I knew immediately it was the same thing when I saw it for the first time. I was like, NAHH, Nahh you didn’t! It was an incredible movie
There’s 3 Things I have to clarify, 1. I’m ok with the Quintessons not showing up, I’m aware how much of a Threat they are but the whole point of this Movie is how Optimus Prime and Megatron began the Formation of the Autobots and Decepticons, IF the Quintessons had appeared more often it would ruin the Film and we won’t get any Sentinel Screen Time, 2. Elita wasn’t the one that had the Idea of using Arachnid to Expose Sentinel, It was Orion who did a Quick Thinking when Arachnid said “I can see Everything” showing how Clever Pax is with his Sharp Edge and Mind, and 3. Bee was done good enough, I get that the Character didn’t evolve but Bee has done Well Enough, his presence is literally the Beginning to Pax and D16’s Journey to who they are destined to become as it was a Red Flag when they found out that there’s 50 Sub Levels instead of 40, his Creation Steve has the Map, and while I thought he was going to ruin the Movie with the Comic Relief I’m surprised there’s Layers of Humanity especially when Sentinel captures him and Dee and Dee stood up when Bee didn’t want him to stand up because he doesn’t want to see his Friends Hurt, like the Quintessons I’m pretty sure Bee will Develop especially when he losses his Voice in the War, anyway this Movie was amazing, not only is it one of the Best Movies of 2024, but it’s clearly the Best Transformers Movie of all Time, the Voice Casting was Great, the Story with the Evolution of Optimus Prime and Megatron is Interesting and Heartbreaking, Sentinel Prime is one of the Best Modern Villains in a Long Time that he’s definitely giving Homelander Vibes, and the Animation and Setup are Flawless, 10 out of 10, I’m hoping this gets a Trilogy because it deserves it and I would love to see more content from this and the Franchise.
Dude, if Bee loses his voice, it's going to make what happens in this movie that much more heartbreaking. He talks so much because he was alone for so long with nothing but these "friends" he created, so he's just a socially awkward guy. Now he has real people he can talk with and losing his voice would be horrific for him.
No more ripped out voice boxes that doesn't need to happen ever again. Also the quintessons just being introduced is good. If there was anything more focusing on them it would be way too chaotic. The movie is near perfect not that there aren't any flaws but it's near perfect as what it is and it sets up future films.
I like the added touch that B is actually pretty damn bloodthirsty. His first kill is sn accident, but he's not remotely upset by it, and is in fact, excited. He shows zero hesitation in killing, and Orion has to stop him from chasing down two bots that he was going to kill for the sole purpose of showing Orion how lethal he was. Then there was the joke about him assaulting the comm station. But when Megatron gave everyone the excuse they needed to just burn everything down, there wasn't an instant of temptation to indulge. B was one of the good guys, and was team Orion all the way.
I absolutely loved this movie, the origin story made it easy for me to get my friends into the franchise, and I loved that the story revolves around the bots, instead of fitting in human characters in there and complicating things ( I just think the bots themselves were already interesting). The Iacon city portrayed in this movie was beautiful, the art-deco inspired designs, the golden structures with blue lighting works soo well. Really glad this movie is getting love even from non-fans!
I'm new to the fandom and discovering just how nice Transformers stuff is after not being interested in robots at all is pretty cool The movie is definitely great, but the cartoons and comics are also amazing. Might look up the games too at some point The fans are pretty chill as well, haven't met any hostility in the fandom so far, and hopefully I won't in the future
tf fans are some of the most based i've encountered at least compared to dragon ball fans or star wars fans because they can actually accept who the target audience for the franchise is and take it in their stride rather than throwing a fit about it because liking stuff aimed at kids is apparently a sin, the tfwiki is the best example of this, one of the funniest and most self-aware fan wikis out there
This movie is how studios need to do movies. And it’s nice to see someone who isn’t a Transformers fan say they loved it, could not be happier. My only complaint about it as a diehard Transformers fan, is that Orion and D-16 weren’t voiced by the guys that made them iconic, Peter Cullen and Frank Welker. But then again it’s Orion Pax and D-16 not Optimus and Megatron. Hopefully in the next one they will be.
I think Peter Cullen and Frank Welker would've had too mature of voices to be Orion Pax and D-16. Granted, I haven't seen the original release (only seen in theatres in Germany, so dubbed), so I can't say much about how Hemsworth and Keys were
@ I will say they did a great job, it’s just weird to hear someone else voice the iconic characters but true Peter and Frank voice Optimus and Megatron as more mature weary warriors. It still would’ve been nice to hear their voices as Optimus and Megatron at the end of the movie.
They need to fire their marketing team because it sucks that such an amazing movie is flopping because of poor marketing. But maybe toy sells will be convincing enough to get a sequel
You say that this movie doesn't have any tear-jerking moments. While I definitely didn't cry, multiple people did. And while the plot may not be the most original, it did surprise me multiple times. As a fan of many of the Transformers cartoons, this was exactly what I wanted. This was better than Inside Out 2, but not quite as fantastic as The Wild Robot.
Optimus Prime is known for dying so many times that tfwiki has a page called the many deaths of optimus prime He wasn't even a prime yet, the death obviously wasn't going to stick And yet I was still tearing up in the cinema
besides bumblebee, i had never seen any kind of transformers media before watching this movie. now, im completely obsessed and im consuming all the transformers media that i can possibly find thanks to transformers one
Its a good solid movie if you aren't into the series at all but if you've seen a lot of the shows and even G1 movie there's so many references and jokes for all the fans
it was agonising waiting this long but oh man it was worth the wait, everything you could wish for as a transformers fan, if only it was making more money because i need more from this world
I really love the idea of the half-transformations and I'm surprised it hasn't been done before, it has so many opportunities for some really cool combat scenes like what you see in the movie.
Rather early on there is a really throwaway line where they just reference that time Mark Wahlberg sang "You've got the touch". They just say "you don't have the touch or the power", and I swear I was the only person to hear it.
Seeing praises towards worldbuilding and other stuff while hearing Portal 2's OST on the background, makes me feel like I have a responsibility right there. I must say it. I think you should try out the Cybertron videogame duology or at least checkout their trailers (those are really cool). But mind that name and trailers of the second game spoil a bit the ending of the first one ("War for Cybertron"), thought that piece of canon pretty much always gets included into lore of other Transformers' titles.
If you liked this Movie, I'd recommend watching Transformers Prime. A lot of elements from One were originally from the series, and is easily one of the greatest shows to come out of the franchise
@@ctshaffer1999 Lie, when my girlfriend started getting interested in Transformers, me and her started watching Transformers Animated and she really liked it. She doesn't have nostalgia towards it or anything, and it's now one of her top 3 favorite shows of all time.
It really is such an animation Marvel. Part of why I was drawn to the Michael Bay movies so much was watching how the bots moved. The way they transformed??? Fascinating, every time. Clicked all these complex pieces together in the way magic only can and in such a FLUID movement? The initial "launch" part of it is some of the best parts. It's like the superhero landing, it just leads to more interesting things, and more iconic to me, especially since it's not a consistent pose. The transformation scenes are the closest thing to hitting the wonder of magical girl transformations without being one, really.
I never got into transformers, likely because my first exposure to transformers was the bayverse movies. Watched TF One and now im out here binging Transformers Prime, Having a really good time with it
As a long time Transformers fan this movie has been a welcome slice of fun with loads of great nods to the wider franchise, though don't know why it's had such a short screening time in the UK? They're likely saving the battle with the Quintessons for the next film. If ever you want to watch the many varied Transformers TV series' I'd recommend the 80s G1 Cartoon for nostalgia, Animated for all round fun and good writing, Prime for something more serious, Beast Wars for the story and Cyberverse for a little of the above.
This was the movie I always wanted as a kid. I grew up with G1, Animated, and TFP, and the Cybertron games specifically, and despised the Bayverse films so thoroughly. Also, Brian Tayler bringing back the TFP theme made me cry for the entire last 20 minutes of the film I stg I got to go in mostly blind because I completely checked out after the first trailer. But TFHypeGuy and James Roberts were my Twitter wake up calls to go maybe see it and just tolerate it in theaters lol I saw it twice. I wish I could have seen it a third time. Was also a delight to see Airachnid again. I don't think she's as scary as that legendary Predator episode in TFP, but it's nonetheless really cool to see them pulling new arrivals from different coninuities. Megatronus looks like Tarn, Steve is referencing the beloved Vehicon, there's so many loving references to so many different stories in the franchise. I disagree the slightest bit with you on the emotional core of the gilm, but it also might just feel different for people who aren't as into transformers? I dunno. Also, the Quintessons were not dropped as a plot, because Optimus' speech at the end specifically calls out to the Quintessons and states they will defend their planet against them. I'm guessing the next film with be related to a new Quintesson war, and the next after that will either be the start of the Decepticon war, or potentially even tie into a story similar to Dark Energon or the fall of Cybertron itself. Especially since we got a lovely scene of Opt restoring the lifeblood of the planet.
5:35 Bumblebee did something similar, only there, Bee entangled chains onto a Decepticon and then yanked it after the decepticon transformed and got that chain all webbed up inside.
The fan service and "point at it" references are great, I did find it fun that jazz just had to lose a part of his lower body, which I thought was a fun way to laugh at Transformers 2007 Jazz, and that Sentinel had the exact same sword as in TF3. Reviewers that say its hard to follow the lore are not entirely wrong, but apart from the Quintessons everything is pretty well linked and explained by Sentinel Prime being a false Prime (again!).
Bumblebee might not actually get his voice damaged in the sequel. That idea was introduced in the first Bay film, and other separate series were simply riding off its success. Recently though they’ve luckily been moving away from that with recent shows, and now this film (which isn’t connected to any other series or films at all, it’s its own new continuity)
You should watch Transformers Prime and Animated, those are generally considered to be the best shows. Brian Tyler composed the music for Prime as well as One, and I think you would really appreciate that. An important note to consider, and one that you would quickly understand when watching Animated and Prime, is that Transformers is a large franchise, and it is not one single story. It is divided into many continuities, each with most of the same basic elements, but often with major changes.
I'm very happy for you this was your official introduction to Transformers franchise 😁 While we both wait for a sequel I recommand you checking out the series "Transformes PRIME" they used a lot of that series in this movie like the score performed by the same autor, reusing some iconioc tracks making them even more emotional 😭 PRIME is one of the best series on Transformers out there and every Transformers fan will agree, if you enjoied the movie you're gonna love the serie👌
As a massive Transformers fan I can confidently say that yes, this was a massive love letter to all things Transformers. So many small details that you wouldn't really get unless you knew Transformers, things like Starscream's voice for example, the Gobot joke, the small reference to a song in the 1986 animated movie. This movie was so dang good and I genuinely do hope that it made enough money that the studio will make a second one because I would love to watch it. 08:52 that's only in the Bay movies, this movie is in no way connected to the live action movies. For the most part Bee talks is most stuff now which most people prefer. 09:00 the reason they probably didn't bring back the quintessons is because they'll probably use them in the next movie. They play a big role in Transformers lore, depending on how they want to use them in these movies will determine if they come back in the next movie I guess. If you'd like to check out more Transformers stuff then most people would probably recommend Transformers Prime, it's regarded as one of the best Transformers series.
Only two things I'd disagree on are the emotional stakes and a fight with the Quintessons. Stories about best friends/brothers who come to betray and oppose each other through circumstance get me and this was a great example of that. My heart dropped the moment D-16 let go of Orion. And I think the fight with the Quintessons should be it's own thing and given a whole movie. Hasbro should use their potential, not throw them in to a last minute battle at the end after all of the real emotional stakes (Sentinel's deception and D-16/Megatron's betrayal and banishment) have been resolved. It would have felt like an afterthought.
2:14 well the thing is Transformers has always been related to gi Joe in season 3 of the og series a villain in one of the episodes was a gi Joe character
I am glad that the Transformers movies no longer feel ashamed to embrace some it's more original long standing lore instead of making things up as they go with the Live-Action movies. Also Bumblebee having missing his voice box missing is more of a thing started by the Michael Bay films, so it isn't guaranteed that this Bee will loose his voice.
Much of the lore present in Transformers One, as well as the idea of Megatron having start out as a freedom fighter, is actually present in most modern depictions of Transformer's lore (Primus himself has actually been a thing since Marvel's comic adaptation in the 80's). Not that TF One doesn't put it's spin on those ideas mind you, but I think if you liked it, it's worth checking out some other iterations of the franchise.
What D-16/Megatron did to Sentinel Prime is brutal by tearing up his body into pieces but to be honest he definately got what he deserved anyway since Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of this movie. Although I don't blame D-16/Megatron for hating Sentinel Prime because he had always looked up to him until he learn the truth that Sentinel Prime was never really a hero in the first place.
Is there more Transformers stuff I should consume? I really know nothing about this franchise otherwise so lemme know!

That may be the case for a newcomer, but it really hit you in the feels when you’re a veteran fan watching the big split of D16 and Orion.
"Emotional" doesn't have to mean "crying."
When Dazz said that, I stopped watching. Plus some lines earlier in the review make me wonder if he mistook that scene as revealing Megatron was secretly evil all along or something, missing the entire point, but maybe he just used very poor phrasing.
Seeing people like you who's just getting into Transformers and raving about how cool this world and these characters makes me so unbelievably happy seeing people really get into this lore and discovering things I stuggle tonexplain how amazing Transformers really is is great keep up the great work
I find the animation in this movie just visual eye candy
It really feels like a stylized and modern take on g1 and thats what I love about it
for the most part i agree, but i do still feel like the face are very uncanny valley
i honestly feel like it would've been better if they just didn't have moving mouths, and it was just the voices and facial expressions
Sentinel’s death had me cheering man. Not only was it a callback to jazz in the bayfilms, but he got what he deserved! *Hey, is it bad that I understand why D-116/Megatron wanted to kill and turn to evil? I cant be the only one man*
No, because that's literally the point. You question who's the real hero of the story 😐
@@Mammothsaber-4457the final step was letting Orion fall.
Sentinel deserved to die, but did D-16 deserve kill? Did he deserve to have his hands bloodied because of Sentinel's actions?
One is my new favorite transformers movie. I made my mom come watch it with me and even she was surprised how good it was, she loves transformers.
It is my new headcanon for all Transformers
He always starts as working class/in a position of low power and this keeps with that core theme.
It’s probably the most unique interpretation of a pre-war Cyberton I’ve ever seen, especially with all the organic flora.
Watched yesterday, man, this movie was awesome. After being disappointed with Joker 2, this was a pleasant surprise to see such a great origin story about the Transformer’s mythos.

half transformation is so fun, it's like they remind us that they are not human but a robot that can transform.
You've hit. Rock. Bottom."
It really isn't much of a surprise then, that Paramount is merging with Skydance.
Good quote.
XD TFP was so good.

I actually didn’t find bumblebee annoying in the movie, I find him adorkable and funny, and he actually knows when to be quiet as the film gets darker.

If you’re a regular movie viewer, it’s a great movie. If your a Transformer fan, this movie is beyond amazing
Refocusing on the quintessons would have made the movie too busy, imo. Maybe if we get later movies, they could be revisited.
@northone2022
It’ll be even more devastating because Megatron, aka d-16, was one of his first real friends (that we know of)
I like the added touch that B is actually pretty damn bloodthirsty.
Really glad this movie is getting love even from non-fans!

tf fans are some of the most based i've encountered at least compared to dragon ball fans or star wars fans because they can actually accept who the target audience for the franchise is and take it in their stride rather than throwing a fit about it because liking stuff aimed at kids is apparently a sin, the tfwiki is the best example of this, one of the funniest and most self-aware fan wikis out there
This movie is how studios need to do movies.
Optimus Prime is known for dying so many times that tfwiki has a page called the many deaths of optimus prime
He wasn't even a prime yet, the death obviously wasn't going to stick
And yet I was still tearing up in the cinema
I belive they are saving the quintesson storyline for another sequel

it was agonising waiting this long but oh man it was worth the wait, everything you could wish for as a transformers fan, if only it was making more money because i need more from this world
This story was pretty great, simple and easy to follow along with. I hope that they keep the story relatively simple for the next movie too.
I just saw it yesterday because “screw us I guess” and I LOVED IT
Saw this one opening day. It was so good and deserves to do be doing better than it is
Should say this is not connected to the other Transformers stuff and the Gi-Joe thing is the live action. I know it’s not confusing at all.
The new Skybound Transformers comic is a mature and deep take of G1 and is definitely worth a read.
5:35 and it's THE ONLY MOVIE THAT EVER DOES IT
I really love the idea of the half-transformations and I'm surprised it hasn't been done before, it has so many opportunities for some really cool combat scenes like what you see in the movie.
If it helps, the GI Joe crossover probably won't be in the same continuity as this film.
Rather early on there is a really throwaway line where they just reference that time Mark Wahlberg sang "You've got the touch". They just say "you don't have the touch or the power", and I swear I was the only person to hear it.
I was BLOWN AWAY by the action scenes. They were so creative and played into the transformers being *transformers*!! And I absolutely loved it ❤
Play the high moon games if you like this movie, they are great.

I saw it yesterday at vue. I enjoyed it.
There was some music from Danganronpa in this video as well.
If you liked this Movie, I'd recommend watching Transformers Prime. A lot of elements from One were originally from the series, and is easily one of the greatest shows to come out of the franchise

7:57 well it was actually alpha trion talking to orion's dead body

Unfortunately it’s not doing well at the box office but here’s hoping we’ll get either a sequel or a tv show
As a long time Transformers fan this movie has been a welcome slice of fun with loads of great nods to the wider franchise, though don't know why it's had such a short screening time in the UK? They're likely saving the battle with the Quintessons for the next film.
If ever you want to watch the many varied Transformers TV series' I'd recommend the 80s G1 Cartoon for nostalgia, Animated for all round fun and good writing, Prime for something more serious, Beast Wars for the story and Cyberverse for a little of the above.
Just been to see this and it was absolutely incredible
This was the movie I always wanted as a kid. I grew up with G1, Animated, and TFP, and the Cybertron games specifically, and despised the Bayverse films so thoroughly.
Also, Brian Tayler bringing back the TFP theme made me cry for the entire last 20 minutes of the film I stg
I got to go in mostly blind because I completely checked out after the first trailer. But TFHypeGuy and James Roberts were my Twitter wake up calls to go maybe see it and just tolerate it in theaters lol
I saw it twice.
Now we need War For and Fall Of Cybertron as movies, TWO and THREE respectively.
John Ham (boice of sentinel) played an angel in Good Omens.
Nice sentinal has wings too and is basically the same character.
I'm very happy for you this was your official introduction to Transformers franchise 😁
While we both wait for a sequel I recommand you checking out the series "Transformes PRIME" they used a lot of that series in this movie like the score performed by the same autor, reusing some iconioc tracks making them even more emotional 😭
PRIME is one of the best series on Transformers out there and every Transformers fan will agree, if you enjoied the movie you're gonna love the serie👌
This is the best transformers movie media we ever have! #saveTFOne
While Hasbro and paramount produced, the animation was still done by ILM who worked on the previous live action films (except rise of the beasts)
I was surprised by this movie as well but it is easily one of the best Transformers movies yet!
2:50 Yeah, that uh... That's been an established cannon fact since the original comics, the Bay films just never gave a fuck about the lore
The JI Joe crossover is actually sourced from the comics
YEAAH THIS MOVIE DESERVES MORE WATCHERS!!!
If they make a sequal and bee loses his voice by megatron could be a sad part of the film if they make sequals
If it shuts him up forever, I would be thrilled. The absolute worst part of the movie and they showcased him in the trailers…such a baffling choice.
If it's one thing the director and screenwriters of this movie showed me is to throw the expected OUT THE WINDOW.
This movie is emotional to me as a Transformers fan. I really liked this origin story for Optimus and Megatron.
unfortunately haven't seen this yet even though i was anticipating it
What D-16/Megatron did to Sentinel Prime is brutal by tearing up his body into pieces but to be honest he definately got what he deserved anyway since Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of this movie. Although I don't blame D-16/Megatron for hating Sentinel Prime because he had always looked up to him until he learn the truth that Sentinel Prime was never really a hero in the first place.
Even though TF one is the origin of the series. It’s not the first sentinel has betrayed his brethren
If we don't get a trilogy i will riot 😤
