I’ve talked about the tribal on, probably every podcast I’ve done. I was having a panic attack directly before we grabbed our torches to walk into tribal with cameras & everyone ready. They said they could give me a shot to calm me down, but that it could send me into convulsions. I said “give me the drugs”. They gave me a shot & I felt soooooooooooo relaxed. I thought it was just that, but whatever it was made me truly too honest. They also cut the part where I told them I was an actress that had already been on tv for 9 years (see IMDB)! So- it was even worse! 😂
They didn’t see me eating fruit until they watched it air… and it made me so happy knowing that they were MORE mad then. 😂🤣🤷♀️ They should’ve put me on the Villain’s team on 20… I could have lasted longer. I actually had friends on that side! Of course, we would’ve missed out on my topless, double bird… & I wouldn’t have won that season either (which I had a very rough time after). Love you guys for still caring about us old-school characters. 👵🏻❤️💋
Thanks for checking out the video Sugar!
Duh. Of course…. Just need to add that fact (in case you wanna grade me on a curve). 😜
Hi Sugar. I would've voted for you on Gabon.
@@sugaroftheshack your title should be "exiled queen" lol
Hello Sugar of course we still love you! We have and will always love you!
Finally a tribute video for Sugar's Gabon game. She was so compelling and it was hilarious how well she dominated Gabon. The sheer fact she works to ensure "good people" have a chance at winning the game instead of looking out for herself also honestly makes her one of the most selfless heroes in Survivor.
I'd hardly count Sugar flipping the bird to Corinne during the final tribal council as a villain moment. Hell, if she had said all that shit to me, I wouldn't have let her off that easy.
If anything it was villainous in how calm and collected she was, a hero would have drop kicked Corinne.
Yes you would’ve. Mr internet tough guy
Tbf her flipping off Corinne isn't really villainous cause what Corinne said was disgusting.
God I hated Corinne so much in Gabon.
@@samisthebest6991I hate corine period
It was definitely messed up to say but I do love Corrine. 😂
@@izzyjoshuadaviswhy do you like an awful person?
@@Dan55888 she's not messed up. But sure.
Sugar was a really interesting player in Gabon. Despite being banished to Exile for much of the game, she pretty much controlled the post-merge. And she was actively trying to get zero votes at Final Tribal Council so that Bob could win. It worked.
Gabon is by far my favorite season. When it aired originally I wanted bob to win based on my episode 1 pick. The rest of the season was pure chaos and made for crazy entertainment. I hope we never get another Gabon because it’s something that probably cannot be replicated successfully.
The gameplay was so bad and things were so personal it kind of felt like watching a season of old school Big Brother
Sugar really overturned the stereotype that pretty girls are petty and self absorbed. She was one of the few actually decent people on the season and it was a a shame that the rest of the cast was too prideful to not give her a single vote at the end.
Meanwhile people like Parvati prove that pretty people can be shallow, use others and manipulate people just because she was born pretty and she is conceited the whole time...
Yet morons love Parvati
Corinne really lives up to the stereotype tho.
Fun fact: Sugar was in video game L.A. Noire. She played character named Candy Edwards in The Set Up case
I love that game, played through it twice now.
Wait, really? That's cool. I just started replaying LA Noire (an all-time classic) this week.
She was also in couple episodes in Gilmore Girls.
@@SurvivorIceyep, it took me so long to figure out where I recognized her from
I played it awhile ago and I thought “Wait?!? Is that Sugar?!?” And then I looked up the voice actors and realized she was voicing a character in the game
Honestly with the added context that Sugar had to take anti-anxiety meds to be calm enough to sit at the final deliberation, the only thing I’m sad about is that she wasn’t clear headed enough (by no fault of her own) to really lay it into the jury exactly why she didn’t want them in the finale and why regardless of the outcome she was happy with the 3 that made it to the finale.
She was perfect for tv. Genuinely super funny and bright. Loved her gameplay, definitely one of the most underrated!
“I can definitely see this as making her dumb to some…” CUTS TO CORINNE 💀
HAHAHA
@@OnceUponAnIslandhave you seen marcus' dick flash

Sugar’s monologue when she votes Randy 😭 Gold
Sugar was that Agent of Kaos that managed to unexpectedly control the game. The Mactor casting that didn't know how to play, but none the less had a on point game..
A conundrum wrapped in a riddle, but always entertaining.
Never really happened before or since. But it was golden when it happened.
Sugar was my favorite in Gabon, I thought she was a very underrated player. Something interesting I thought was that she didn't care if she won, she just didn't want somebody like Randy or Corinne won.
Had her social game been better she could've won, similar to Russell Hantz in Samoa
And Sugar won with her rivalry against Corinne as far as I'm concerned
I have been waiting for this story video.Sugar is a entertaining player with good strategy but she mostly plays with emotion which makes her irrational at times. Sugar should have got a vote or two because she has a better case then Susie
She was my favorite on Gabon, it was just hilarious to see her act dumb
Lol. In scripted, I’m usually the bad girl. 🤷♀️
Sugar is one of the most beautiful contestants to have appeared on Survivor.
Bar is incredibly low honestly
Thanks❤
@@sugaroftheshackWait is that actually you
I always love these videos! It’s amazing that Wesley acts as both a narrator and the audience. It’s also cool to see all the videos of the same season but from different contestants’ perspectives.
Wow, thank you so much. You made my day.
@@OnceUponAnIsland You have a gift, Wesley.
Fun Fact: Sugar accidentally spread her father’s ashes in the lake the tribe used for their drinking water. So…yeah…
I think this is why they cut to a waterfall so it looks like they went away.
Well that’s sugar for you
powerbitch move tbh
I love Sugar’s villainous move at 39:41. She’s still sweet even when she’s evil 😃
🤷♀️
Deep down we all know that she should have won.
I thought that too when I was watching ftc
yep bob love him but poor guy didnt do much he was just the helpful grandpa who nobody really disliked
@@Thepokedek Bob strategic play was nonexistent
@@Thepokedek I mean he won bunch of immunities as one of the oldest players to ever play the game.. pretty impressive.
That's easy to say, I say Russel should have won every game he played, getting a majority of the jury to like you is a huge part of this game and no one liked sugar sorry
I've had a lot of these on in the background at work so I can't comment on them, but this was the first one I watched and wanted to comment on how well they're done. Sugar is such a sweetheart. I barely remember watching this season but I do remember Sugar getting constantly sent to Exile. She's such a trooper and it was easy to root for her.
I love these videos so much! You always do a great job 😊🙌
love these videos so much man, it really brings me back. ty so muhc for putting so much work into it
Always excited for a new once upon an island video
Ive so much more respect for Sugar after i learned she tried to off herslef after HvV it really does put into perspective what she did in Gabon and honestly it wasnt little making top 3 wasnt a bad finish and she def had move both to make and u her sleeve
Lost you at the end… but thanks for what you meant. ❤
I apologize what i was trying to type (sometimes my word suggestion plays tricks on me)
Is that making top 3 wasn't a bad finish by any means + you made good moves and had moves (tricks/the idol play on randy) up your sleeve. You definitely are one of the reasons Gabon was a stong season. Greetings from Bulgaria 😊
In my opinion. She’s the sweet salty girl who wants nothing but the best, but with survivor in the mix, sweet girls may get extra mean. To be honest she is %100 a saint who just had to play the game. She made it to the final 3 and even though she wasn’t the popular vote, I’d have her for another season
Susie is the embodiment of heather and Lindsay combined
Was Gabon the most colorful season cast-wise (not color like race but for whacky/interesting personalities)?
Well dang I never expected my question that I asked last video you posted to be answered in the very next video. But now I know the answer. Very interesting.
Other thoughts:
I completely understand why it looks like Sugar burned everyone, but is it her fault that everyone on the jury is just negative all the time? What is she supposed to do there?
Lastly, when Sugar started to talk at FTC, that first giggle was all I needed to know that this was going to get bad.
Anyways great video, and great way to pass the time until survivor 45.
And to think I made this video well before you asked too lol
Find my comment. 😉
@@sugaroftheshack hello Sugar. I think you played a very good game in Gabon with all the craziness going on. Hope all is well!
@@andrewspellman4540 I have an amazing family & oodles of real friends. I’m doing GREAT! Thanks! 🫶🏻
Sugar is one of my favorite players.
I've rewatched Sugar telling Matty he's not going home at least 6 times now. It's just so cool and badass
Funnily enough the player who shares the way her game goes the most of all players is most likely russel hantz if you think about it, they dominate immensly, get people to do dumb idol shenanigans, are in control for a large oart of the game but burn everybody so jard that they havw no chance winning any ftc
How DARE you. 😉
@@sugaroftheshackyou are obviously way more likable, but game trajactory wise it all goes very similar
Is Sugar's jury speech in Gabon worse than Russell's jury speech in Survivor Samoa?
I haven't watched Samoa in a while but I will think about it when I do.
Russell’s Samoa speech was good but the problem was the jury was never voting him.
Is it really a bad speech when it did exactly what she wanted it to?
Russell thought he had a winning game but he bashed the jury on the way out so he wasn’t going to get any votes
Posted in comments. If you haven’t heard me talk about this on a podcast… now you know.
One of my ultimate survivor crushes and one of the best main characters in Survivor!
This whole time I thought her actual first name was Sugar…
I honestly haven’t watched Gabon in a while, but I still remember feeling so bad for Kenny after Sugar blew up his plans. I remember thinking that his plan was definitely going to work, but sugar’s chaos just couldn’t be accounted for lmao.
One off my favorite character, she is so entertaining and even know she played emotionally I think she deserve the win more than Bob because she is the one draguing him to the end + Bob isnt a really good player and only stayed in the game because of immunity...
one of my favs ever! she had sooooo so so much control over what happened the whole season it was amazing
Sugar picking Randy's cookie and giving it to Matty is actually smart. Randy is the one that actually dumb to offer a third time
When you think about this season story wise, it really is super interesting and engaging. Sugar is really shallow at first, but really opens up and gets all the edit. She’s such an emotional force who made very good strategic moves to fuel those purely emotional moves, saving who she wants at the expense of her own chances. She almost gives up in the end, wanting good people to be in the end and wanting a good person to win. One of my favorite season storylines to come from the franchise
Gabon is my favorite season and Sugar is by far my favorite castaway of this season
Finally here is version of lovely Sugar😍❤️❤️🥰
Sugar was a highly unorthodox contestant. Without her and Randy Gabon would still be a clusterf*ck, but not an entertaining one anymore. She probably had overall the best voting confessionals ever.
I totally side with Sugar flipping Corrine off at FTC.
Same, my god was that speech absolutely revolting.
Honestly one of my favorite survivor players. She’s such an entertaining character. Sugar has been and will always be an antihero to me.
I feel like she just didn't believe in herself at FTC. She really could have won if she actually felt like she played the game that everyone saw her play on TV
The protagonist of the best season.
Now imagine if this happened: Bob gives away his immunity to Kenny, but after that Sugar gives her idol to Bob. It would've been so mindblowing
I would've been done for assault if I was Sugar. I can't believe Corinne got away with saying all of that to her 💀🔪🔪🔪
Sugar found a way to fail upwards in survivor.
Sugar is both really sweet and really hateful through the season. Frankly I loved her in this season, but I get why she didn't win.
Sugar was just being real. Come on now 40:58
Most of the time…❤
Gabon has has to be a top 5 season for me
I forgot everything that happened this season and yeah Sugar should've won this season. She controlled most of the end game
I love Gabon
Who’s the second worst FTC performance you’ve done a story video on in your opinion? -Micah
I love how whenever there's an analysis of Gabon, no matter who's reviewing it, they always make sure to go out of their way to dunk on crystal's incompetence.
Where did Sugar get the red lipstick? If that was red paint from their flag decorating kit, it sure was flexible and long-wearing like real lipstick!
is there a reason were getting so many gabon stories?? I loooove them but the overlap makes me feel like im watching the same stories, maybe soread em out with a bit more other season! I absolutely loooove your videos tho
We are going through the seasons chronologically, have been since the beginning, so if you look at my past videos there are about 5 story videos for every season prior to Samoa.
Took me so long to realize where I recognized her from. She was on Gilmore Girls lol
Sugar is one of a kind.
Sugar is so funny
Sugar is hot and funny a perfect 5/7 rating as a character from me
Lol. I guess out of 7, that’s not bad.
Had she fake ally with randy and let randy do the dirty job for her, she could have won
😮
I would loved to seen that happen but the problem is Gabon is so unpredictable. I feel like there would be a high chance that Randy would’ve snitched to everyone about their fake alliance and Sugar would’ve never made it to final three. But Randy is also missing a few brain cells and probably could’ve fell for it so it’s a 50/50 toss up! Good theory tho!
It's sad that sugar was the first out in HvsV I really wanted her to go her deep or play again... By the way i saw this season in Spanish and when i saw it one English it made it look different like the traduction made her look more like a villain...
I don’t understand why canonically Sugar is a hero. Randy and Sugar seem to be 2 sides of the same coin.
Villains that get rid of nasty people, are heroes in my book. 😂
I love that she ate all of pre merge lol
Love Sugar!❤️
Sugar should have pulled a Heidi and put some extra respect for her game, and let herself do fire against Bob and beat him, she would have too! Cant believe It hasnt been done before 44!
I really like Sugar, from this video it seems like she played an entertaining game. I also like her attitude for the final three and how she didn't care about the jury votes, Corrine and Randy can go rot in hell and Kenny can trip on something
Where her showing on heroes vs villains?
Season 20 episode 1 on Paramount Plus
Sugar knew that at any moment she would have been voted out and discarded when needed by the rest in the jury. It upset me hearing them talking like saints when they are snakes. She just avoided that faith to be the vote-out card from others.
I have a non-Sugar question about this ep. At 35:00, when Bob burns through the rope and Matty gets the boot, shouldn't Jeff say something other than "The tribe has spoken." Because it's not the tribe that's spoken, it's the fire. Matt had as many votes as Bob did.
The tribe voted them to do the fire.
@@OnceUponAnIsland I can accept that. Thanks for the content!
In later seasons, the firemaking is a forced twist, and there I can see your original point since 1 person will decide what 3 people are doing.
Definitely see your point, it is a daisy chain of choices by tribe members, thus Jeff's "the tribe has spoken" is valid. Though I think the only voice making a difference here was Sugar's. She must have voted with Bob to keep him in the game and thus made the fire challenge possible.
sugar is a LEGEND
Sugar reminds me of Colleen Haskell from the first season (i think)
Sugar is my favorite player after Boston Rob
I don't understand these text labels on the screen that pop up... they make no sense.
00:31 and 41:40
My second favorite player after Sandra.
Oh look, she is actually here....Oh goodie! lol
8:06 - I do feel bad that Dan is no longer with us. However he’s a picklehead for making that comment about Sugar.
where is corinnes
Posted a few weeks ago. Check my channels videos.
Bob and Gillian where have we heard this combination before any Biggest Loser fans out there
God I hated Sugar, never understood how she was a Hero, she literally flips on everyone she aligns with 😂
I love sugar
Well I'm a Sugar fan, I don't think she did anything villianous with malicious intent. The way her tribe and game treated her from the start I am amazed at how she took herself all the way to the end.
People like Randy and Corinne are just rotten to the core reguardless of the game situation, just vile people
That woman had charisma
Shes a hottie im happy she won 😅! I was in jr high school when i saw her and im still smitten
She won? When?
Of the three of them, I would’ve liked Susie to have won, but they were all SO bad at the ftc.
Sugar carried this season on her back. Gabon answers the question, "What if there was a season of first boots?"
My opinion,"Pour some Sugar on me"!😜
Corinne is a sales rep and she cannot handle talking to people she dosnt like? She must not be good at her job...
Here's my theory: if sugars die wouldn't have died Bob wouldn't have won the season Maddie would have. She would have picked. Maddie instead of Bob because she felt Bob was a father figure. If she still had a father she wouldn't have needed Bob as a father figure and the brother figured would be more important to Maddie
I support womens rights but most importantly I support womens wrongs
Sugar is the exact type of manic gf to completely destroy your life within 1 week of dating
Sugar is definitely a character that you either love or you hate and personally I really hate her I thought she played a terrible game and she was annoying she just seemed unstable the way she would flop back and forth between prioritizing the game prioritizing her emotions and prioritizing her moral code just made it hard to like her in any part of the game for me and then she only made it worse with her *performance* if you could even call it that on heroes vs villains where it was clear that the only thing she could do in early game was latch onto a stronger player and hope she gets into the power alliance to distract from how miserable she is in challenges she did it in Gabon with Ace and then again in heroes vs villains she tried to do it with Colby but he wasn’t having it which is why she was the first hero out of the game my opinion is that in about 75-80% of all survivors so far she is a pre-merge exit
I couldn’t stand Corinne in the Amazing Race either. She was absolutely awful
I just hated her. She was a monster.
Defined the word monster in this case
Sugar is a villain, my opinion, and it would have been so funny if she and randy were both on the villains team in season 20
