March 15, 2024. Dear Melissa,
Thank you for demonstrating how to do this lovely quilt. I really appreciated all the tips. I really love those borders. I remember the stack and whack type quilt you made with that scrumptious border fabric. I'm working on a column quilt right now. Six rows down of 12-5inch squares sewn together, separated by 2.5 inch wide by length of the column sashing. 🤔. This is for the quilt guild. Good grief. Try to match up like you showed us. Good grief. Plan B starts next week. I'm off to the Oregon coast for a few days. My own brain fog will lift along with the coastal mist. Take dare. Marion in Oregon.

I had to chuckle at you starting to sew in the middle to avoid pins! 😂 I also struggle with quilt math from time to time. the whole taking out a nibble at a time is clever! Cute quilt!
